A Pop of Pink Club Gift Notebook from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning lovelies and a very Happy Monday to you all.

How has your weekend been? I have started a new Stitch Along project with Lakeside Needlecraft and we received the first chart for the project border on Friday. I lost many hours this weekend to stitching and all the loveliness of this exclusive fantasy SAL.  I am starting another one on Wednesday to follow on from my 6 month Owl SAL so I am going to be super busy stitching wise.

My craft project share for the day are these little notebooks I have made for my lovely Hostess Club members. These little personalised notebooks will be slipped in with my ladies June orders.

I found the little black notebooks in Tiger on a recent trip across the water to Whiteley Village and I liberated the pencils (which I have covered in washi tape) from a well known furniture store (I got every member of my family to use a pencil during our trip! I couldn't resist as they were a perfect size to accompany my little books).

I love these Pop of Pink Designer Series Papers which I partnered with the Pop of Pink Washi Tapes. I added the sweetheart punch cut out and a personalised name on each stamped with the Labeller Alphabet stamp set. To finish I added sparkly sequins.

I love these Pop of Pink papers. They are great for any occasion and some of the designs are lovely and subtle while others are bright and bold.

Just to finish my creative share for today I have my finished Owl Stitch Along project to share. I posted a few of my owls along the way. Here are all twelve together. I used my Grandma's tin of threads she gave me a while back. I loved the happy and bright colours. I am doing a new project kicking off on Wednesday which is along the same lines but with frogs instead of the owls.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, or any of our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!).

Garden In Bloom Candle Gift Set from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

It is a new crafty week at Stampin' Sarah HQ and a fun week of craftiness ahead with classes and crafty get togethers. I had a lovely weekend catching up with some Stampin' Up! friends and sharing the new catalogue and all the goodies contained within with them.

Now the party is over I can share with you the candle I made as my Hostess thank you gift. I have gotten a bit carried away with the Garden In Bloom stamp set recently. Everything I have been stamping seems to feature this lovely triple stamping set.

I created these two candles using the tissue paper technique. I stamped the floral images on to white tissue paper and then wrapped the tissue around my candle and held in place with tightly wrapped greaseproof baking paper. I then used my heat tool to melt the wax a little and soak the tissue paper in to the candle. Such a simple technique but perfect for all occasions.

For the blue tone floral candle I used Memento Black, Pool Party, Marina Mist, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight ink to stamp my flowers and leaves.

I was really pleased with the way the candles turned out. My second attempt was a little more detailed and I forgot that the ink was still wet on my craft table so it all got a bit smudged. But Summer absolutely loved it and has adopted the bumble bee and butterfly candle as her own.

If you pop back on Wednesday I will share the matching thank you card and packaging for this card. I had so much fun designing the cute little set for my hostess at the weekend. Half the fun of prepping for a Stampin' Up! party is coming up with the gift set for my hostess.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. Paper Stack Sampler Hostess Club Gifts from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. Happy Monday to you all.

How was your weekend? It flew by here. The Isle of Wight has been host to the annual music festival so it has been fun listening to the music from the garden and seeing all the revellers enjoying themselves. It all goes back to normal today as everyone will be heading home.

Today I have a quick crafty project to share with you. For my hostess club ladies this month I wanted to make a little product sampler of lovely new catalogue products. During the Demonstrator preorder I had purchased the Neutral Designer Series Paper Stack and thought it would make a perfect little 4"x6" sampler pack.

I cut a selection of the paper designs down to 4"x6" (the papers are 12"x12") and packaged with Neutrals Candy Dots and Basic Pearls.

I created a little label using my 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch and 2" Circle Punch. I punched the scallop circle from Soft Suede and then the smaller circle from Whisper White. I used Smoky Slate ink to stamp the Work of Art paint swoosh and then Chocolate Chip for the greeting. I added the Chevrons in Crumb Cake.

And here are all the designs and packages all ready to be added to my Hostess Club ladies orders.

If you would like more information on joining one of my Clubs you can click on the Virtual Club tab at the top of the page. I welcome new members at any time through the  year. Painted Petals Tealight Gift Box Thank You from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Painted Petals has been by far my favourite of all the Spring Summer catalogue products and I will be sad to see it go on June 2nd. I love the effect  of the two step stamping (and how much easier it is now you can line up the photopolymer stamps through your acrylic block).

This project is inspired by the amazing Bronwyn Eastley. I absolutely loved the simplicity of this little tealight gift box. A perfect little thank you for a teacher or loved one.

The inside of the gift box with the little scented tealight:

I do enjoy a bit of fussy cutting from time to time. I loved raising this little rose to add dimension to the front of the gift box.

Painted Blooms Notebook from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafty friends and a very Happy Weekend to you!

I'm posting a day later than usual. I got a bit sidetracked yesterday morning placing the order for Thursdays's fab Sale-A-Bration party and I completely forgot to finish writing today's post. So I am having a bloggy catch up while watching Downton Abbey (how did I miss watching this before? I am totally hooked!).

So here is today's crafty share a bit later than anticipated. This is the gift I made as a thank you for my January party hostesses (personalised for each hostess). I always like to make a handmade thank you on top of the amazing benefits offered by Stampin' Up!

I made this notebook by covering an A4 journal with some gorgeous (but sadly retired) patterned Kraft cardstock (you can still purchase plain Kraft in the catalogue and stamp a design yourself). I then cut floral designs from the gorgeous (and hugely popular amongst my customers this month) Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper and layered over an Elegant Eggplant label cut using the Apothecary Accents Framelits.

I personalised the label with letters cut from Silver Glimmer Paper using my Little Letters Thinlits Dies.

If you would like to book your own crafty party for you and your friends and family and receive a special handmade gift from me as well as fantastic Sale-A-Bration and Hostess freebies from Stampin' Up! then please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. I have dates available through February and March  and would love to come and show you Stampin' Up!'s fantastic range of craft supplies.

You can find out more about the new Spring Summer Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration promotion by clicking here or by using the navigation menu on the left. This really is the most exciting time of the year to shop. New products and fantastic freebie rewards too.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. Virtual Hostess Club Mini Easel Gift from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and very warm welcome from the Isle of Wight on this fine and mild December 1st morning. Today signals the official start to the festive countdown. Already today I have hung my 12 Days of Christmas cross stitch and both the girls are in the first of several (many!) Christmas outfits. I'm also going to be starting my Project Life December album today (pictures to come- woohoo!)

I have a special project to share with you today. This was a bit of a labour of love as I made 10 of these little mini easels for my virtal hostess club ladies to go with their November orders. I wanted a little decorative gift (this was my inspiration). Something a bit different to contribute to their festive preparations. I picked up the mini easels from my local The Works store.

Then came the fun bit, decorating and designing. I used the Typeset Designer Series Speciality Paper as my base. I gave it this antique aged effect with Soft Suede ink and a Stamping Sponge.

I then stamped the flourishes and leaves (both from retired Christmas stamp sets).

To create my Punch Art Poinsettia I punched lots of Cherry Cobbler wings from the Bird Punch and glued together in a circle layering on top of one another using Glue Dots (I also lightly daubered the edges with Cherry Cobbler ink). I then punched a Cherry Cobbler flower using the Petite Petals Punch which I curved with my Bone Folder for the top layer. For the flower centre I used three tiny Basic Pearls which I coloured with my Daffodil Delight Blendabilities Markers.

The final detail was the 'Joy' which I punched in Cherry Cobbler on to Old Olive cardstock using my Epic Alphabet stamp set. I then cut this and glued to my canvas. I finished with a bit of doodling with my Basic Black Stampin' Write marker and a mini star punched from Champagne Glimmer Paper.

I sprayed the whole canvas with Smooch Spritz to give it a sparkly festive sheen. However, this has not come out in the photographs. You'll just have to take my word for it that these canvases are lovely and sparkly.

I hope you've enjoyed my festive share today. I am so excited to start my December album with you more in the week. Keep your fingers crossed I can get the girls to sleep early enough to crack on with Day 1.

If you have any questions about today's project or the products I have used, please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. You can order online direct through my store by clicking the product links above or the pictures below. I also have availability in the next few months for your very own crafty party so drop me a line to find out more and get your date in the diary.

Hardwood Garden Gate Card

Good morning and a very Happy Hump Day! I love Wednesdays as it means you are nearly at the weekend (and Grimm is on too which is always something worth looking forward to!).

Great news! Weekly Deals have been extended through May. Today's deals feature some great products. I especially love the Pop n' Cuts inserts (to be used with the Pop N' Cuts base). Pop over to my online store by clicking here or on the picture below to check this weeks deals.

So on to today's crafty project. I wanted to make a special 'Showstopper' special card for my first card class back after my maternity leave. I had seen a similar creation on Pinterest designed to showcase a packet of garden seeds as a gift style card. This type of card is one of my absolute favourites, one that incorporates a gift as an integral part of the card. And this card also gave me an excuse to break out the Bird Punch again. I haven't used this punch in an absolute age.

Here is the inside of the card:

The colour scheme for this card is Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party and Naturals Ivory (for the garden gate). The gate is stamped using the Hardwood background stamp in Chocolate Chip (and edges daubered with Crumb Cake). I secured the gate with Sticky Strip and then stuck Candy Dots to represent the gate hinges.

To embellish I created a robin with the Bird Punch. I punched the body from Crumb Cake, wing from Chocolate Chip and the breast was daubered with Cherry Cobbler. The flower was punched with the Boho Blossoms punch (and finished with a Bright Candy Dot).

Thank you for popping by today. You can order all Stampin' Up! products through my online store by click here or by clicking on any of the product links above. I will also happily order any products for you. Just drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249 and I'll happily assist.

Monster Hugs

Good morning all.

I've had a super busy crafty weekend prepping for next weekends card class and having a play with lots of lovely new preordered Spring Summer Catalogue goodies. While I was going through my order I came across these lovelies that I'd ordered from the A Whole Lot of Love Valentines Day promotion. If you click on the picture above it'll connect you through to the promotional items on my online store.

I just love these little Monster Hugs (they come in packs of 18 hugs for £5.50. You can either buy the boy hugs or the girl hugs). We were shown them at Convention and I just fell in love with them. Such a simple little Valentines gift for a loved one or for children to take to school with them. I found the little gold Lindt bear in my Christmas leftovers and thought they'd be a perfect hug filler for a little Valentines gift for Summer. The Monster bases have a length of sticky strip that you attach the chocolate to. Making creating these little cuties even easier (their hands then slot together to form the hug).

Here are a couple more shots of the Monster Hugs. I love their cute little drawn on bottoms and the big googly eyes (supplied in the kits along with the adhesive pink or blue hearts).

These Monster Hugs, along with all the other lovely Valentines products, are only available to order through to January 27th. So get your order in quick before they are all gone. You can either place an order direct through my online store (click here) or get in touch directly and I will be happy to help (poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249).

Thanks for stopping by today and pop back on Thursday for more Spring Summer sneak peaks.
