Christmas Mini Pizza Box and Shrink Plastic Necklace from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Saturday Crafters.

How has September been for you? Are you enjoying all the Christmas craftiness in the new Autumn Winter catalogue? I am really enjoying the products this year.  I love playing with the new stamps and seeing all the makes on Pinterest that people are creating with them.

Another of the projects we created at my August Craft Day was a Mini Pizza Box (have you seen these? They are foodsafe and perfect for packaging treats for Christmas) with a Christmas Charm Necklace inside.

We decorated the outside with a belly band created with the Be Merry Designer Series Paper and layered with images cut using the Santa's Sleigh Dies and Red Glimmer Paper and Garden Green DSP. We added embellishments from the Hearts & Stars Elements pack and a length of Cherry Cobbler Ribbon.

Inside the box was a separate project we created, a Christmas necklace with handmade paper beads and a charm stamped with Shrink Plastic.  I used this tutorial to try making different shapes of beads. We glazed with the Fine Tip Glue Pen and added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter for a bit of shimmer. For my two sample necklaces I stamped images from the Santa's Sleigh Stamp Set in Staz On on to clear shrink plastic. I then cut around the image and used my heat tool to shrink the image. I then coloured with alcohol markers to ensure the colours would stay on the plastic.

These would make a great table place setting or extra little gift for a friend. It was a really enjoyable project to make and it went down well with my attendees on the day. I haven't crafted with shrink plastic for years and had forgotten the simple enjoyment of making the image shrink down and creating the little charms.

A Cookie Cutter Christmas Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters and a very happy Friday to you all. What are your crafty plans for the weekend? I have some swaps to make for a Pinkies team get together next weekend. I also have gifts to make for my lovely monthly hostess club ladies.

Are you enjoying the Autumn Winter catalogue so far? I've been getting so many positive messages about the new products. But by far the favourite bundle so far has been the Cookie Cutter stamp set and matching punch. Everyone has fallen for this lovely set.

I am a bit of a sucker for all things gingerbread anyways so this set was always a must have for me. Today's make in inspired by a fellow Pinkie, Karen Spreckley, who shared this card on our team Facebook page. I just fell in love with the colour combo and the little Inuit is just too cute not to feature.

This colour combo is Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Real Red. I used a strip of Candy Cane Lane DSP and then coloured my Inuit with Blender Pens and ink pads. I added a little Blushing Bride for the face and rosy cheeks.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. A Fresh Fruit One Sheet Wonder Gift Set from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Tuesday Crafters.

How was your weekend? The Isle of Wight has been sprinkled with the most beautiful sunshine all weekend. In celebration of the summer I designed this gift set to teach at my July Monthly Card Class on Saturday. I haven't created with a one sheet wonder since  I first joined Stampin' Up! 6 years ago and had forgotten what fun they can be (stamp an A4 sheet of cardstock with multiple images and then use this as the basis of a series of cards). This was a project inspired by my lovely upline Michelle who created a similar project using the Blooms and Wishes stamp set.

This set is made up of 7 cards which I housed in this lovely little presentation box (instructions for the box can be found here thanks to Lyssa at Song of My Heart Stampers). I used up little scraps of DSP to make my decorative panel on the front of my box.

Here are the 7 cards that fit inside the box. I used the In Colors 2016-2018 as my color scheme combined with Pear Pizzazz. I also used highlights of the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper alongside the Sunshine Sayings Bundle to create my sentiments.  I also added washi tape from my washi stash.

I thoroughly recommend returning to a one sheet wonder if you haven't had a go for a while. It is a fun and super quick way to create a whole series of cards along one theme. And the set as a whole would make a lovely gift.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. A Fresh Fruit Teacher Thank You from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

This week has been an emotional one in the Stampin' Sarah household as my eldest graduated from preschool. Where did those 4 years go already? Which can only mean one thing. In about 6 weeks time I will be sharing an artfully staged picture of Summer in her school uniform on the first day of school.

Her lovely keyworker at preschool will be inheriting my youngest in September but we wanted to make her something special to say thank you for all her support over the past 11 months. So this is what I came up with using the Fresh Fruit stamp set and coordinating Fruit Stand DSP.

To wrap the little apple keychain I got from Paper Panda I used a glassine bag I had in my retired Stampin' Up! stash. I made the little thank you using an offcut of Fruit Stand DSP paired with the sentiment from Fresh Fruit stamp set.

For the main card I used a Whisper White card base layered with Basic Black and Fruit Stand DSP. For my stamped panel I stamped the sentiment from Thankful Thoughts in Basic Black. Adding the flowers from Fresh Fruit. As a final detail I stamped and hand cut the flowers in Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach.

A Pop of Pink Club Gift Notebook from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning lovelies and a very Happy Monday to you all.

How has your weekend been? I have started a new Stitch Along project with Lakeside Needlecraft and we received the first chart for the project border on Friday. I lost many hours this weekend to stitching and all the loveliness of this exclusive fantasy SAL.  I am starting another one on Wednesday to follow on from my 6 month Owl SAL so I am going to be super busy stitching wise.

My craft project share for the day are these little notebooks I have made for my lovely Hostess Club members. These little personalised notebooks will be slipped in with my ladies June orders.

I found the little black notebooks in Tiger on a recent trip across the water to Whiteley Village and I liberated the pencils (which I have covered in washi tape) from a well known furniture store (I got every member of my family to use a pencil during our trip! I couldn't resist as they were a perfect size to accompany my little books).

I love these Pop of Pink Designer Series Papers which I partnered with the Pop of Pink Washi Tapes. I added the sweetheart punch cut out and a personalised name on each stamped with the Labeller Alphabet stamp set. To finish I added sparkly sequins.

I love these Pop of Pink papers. They are great for any occasion and some of the designs are lovely and subtle while others are bright and bold.

Just to finish my creative share for today I have my finished Owl Stitch Along project to share. I posted a few of my owls along the way. Here are all twelve together. I used my Grandma's tin of threads she gave me a while back. I loved the happy and bright colours. I am doing a new project kicking off on Wednesday which is along the same lines but with frogs instead of the owls.

An Affectionately Yours Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning lovelies. How is your week going? I've been busy prepping for my card class this weekend. I've been having great fun with all the new loveliness from the catalogue and especially the Foxy Friends stamp set and matching punch (I love this combo!).

Today's crafty share is a project we made at Telford as one of our Make & Takes on the day. This was designed to showcase the Affectionately Yours Product Suite as it combines the Floral Affection Embossing Folder with the matching stamps and designer series paper. I used the Telford project as my inspiration for this card that we made at a recent card class.

My favourite detail on this card is the copper embossing powder used for the sentiment. The copper embossing powder picks up on the copper highlights in the Designer Series Paper. It gives a lovely extra bit of glamour and texture to the card.

It's My Party Class Makes from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Monday crafty friends ;0)

How was your weekend? We've had a lovely one here as my Mum's dog Kala came to stay and the girls absolutely loved having her here (or 'babysitting' her as Summer says). We walked her to the park and spent some time making her dinner and fussing over her bedding. So all in all it was a great time had by all.

I wanted to share with you a series of projects I put together for my 'It's My Party' creative class a couple of months back. Through the afternoon we made 4 cards and an envelope pouch to keep them all in. We used the colours from the DSP as our focus- Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Mint Macaron.

The first card uses the Balloon Celebration Bundle. Can you see I added a little Wink of Stella detailing to the balloons to give a bit of dimension.

I've seen these split/peek a boo style cards a lot on Pinterest and thought these gorgeous patterned papers would work perfectly. I added the Party Wishes sentiment as my stamped element behind the folded back section. I also added extra texture with the It's My Party Enamel Dots.

I saw a rainbow effect card on Pinterest and decided to have a go myself. It was a bit of a manoeuvre for everyone to get all the balloons stamped. But we got there in the end. I loved going through my ink pads to create this Stampin' Up! rainbow.

And the final card we made used the Confetti Textured Impressions Embossing Folder as the focus. I used a dauber to add the ink colours to the embossed Whisper White. We then added the other stamped elements to the central space.

All the cards plus their envelopes fitted in to this Envelope Punch Board pouch. We used a 12" piece of the It's My Party DSP and the punch board. The whole envelope was held together with a contrasting belly band.
