A Jar of Love Silhouette Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Saturday crafters.

I have a huge task ahead of me today. I have cleared my schedule and I have the Stampin' Up! Retiring List ready in front of me. I am going to tackle my piles of stamps, embellishments, papers and dies and sort out those that are retiring from those that will be carrying over in to the new Stampin' Up! catalogue (which I've had a peek at and is overflowing with loveliness!). I love this time of year, making way for lots of new crafty fabulousness. If you'd like to have a look at the items that are on the retiring list click on the picture below (only available until May 31st).

Today's crafty share is a card I created using my Jar of Love stamp set. I often overlook this set when I am sitting down to craft but when I had a look at some of the smaller images I realised they'd make a perfect silhouette layered over one another.

I started by punching a circle from a Post-It to create a mask. I then used So Saffron ink with a sponge dauber to ink the circle in the background. Then I simply layered the Jar of Love elements in Memento Black ink over the top. Adding the greeting last.

The Stampin' Up! 2017 Retiring Products List is Live

Hello fellow Stampin' Up!-ers.

The Retiring Products list for 2017 is live. Click on the photo above to be connected to my online shop where you can see all the products that will be retiring.

All the retiring products are only available until 31st May or until stocks run out. Historically items sell out very fast from this list so don't wait if there are any must have items on there. And also this is your last chance to get your hands on the 2015-2017 In Colors (Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder).

If you place an order using my special Retiring List Hostess Code ZBACWNNR you will also get a special gift in the post from me in June once the new catalogue is released (I will be sharing all the hostess rewards for the order amongst all customers who order using the code). This will come beautifully packaged as a crafty summery surprise during June.

Please get in touch if you have any questions and I'll be more than happy to help.

A Love Sparkles Watercoloured Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters and a very happy Monday to you.

How was your weekend? I hope it was as beautiful and sunny as it was here on the Isle of Wight. I had a lovely weekend catching up with an old travelling friend who was visiting the UK from Australia. I gave her a whistle stop tour around the island. My girls loved finding out more about Australia and asked a lot of questions about kangaroos.

Today's crafty pair of cards were inspired by a masked card I'd seen on Pinterest. I'd been having a play with different masking techniques and I loved the simplicity of layering these Love Sparkles hearts using a Post-It note mask to give the added dimension.

Once I stamped the top row of hearts in Memento Black I then masked and added the background hearts. Once stamped I then coloured with Watercolour Pencils and blended with my Blender Pens.

To give a little added sparkle I added a thin strip of Glimmer Paper either side of the hearts.
