A Pop of Pink Club Gift Notebook from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning lovelies and a very Happy Monday to you all.

How has your weekend been? I have started a new Stitch Along project with Lakeside Needlecraft and we received the first chart for the project border on Friday. I lost many hours this weekend to stitching and all the loveliness of this exclusive fantasy SAL.  I am starting another one on Wednesday to follow on from my 6 month Owl SAL so I am going to be super busy stitching wise.

My craft project share for the day are these little notebooks I have made for my lovely Hostess Club members. These little personalised notebooks will be slipped in with my ladies June orders.

I found the little black notebooks in Tiger on a recent trip across the water to Whiteley Village and I liberated the pencils (which I have covered in washi tape) from a well known furniture store (I got every member of my family to use a pencil during our trip! I couldn't resist as they were a perfect size to accompany my little books).

I love these Pop of Pink Designer Series Papers which I partnered with the Pop of Pink Washi Tapes. I added the sweetheart punch cut out and a personalised name on each stamped with the Labeller Alphabet stamp set. To finish I added sparkly sequins.

I love these Pop of Pink papers. They are great for any occasion and some of the designs are lovely and subtle while others are bright and bold.

Just to finish my creative share for today I have my finished Owl Stitch Along project to share. I posted a few of my owls along the way. Here are all twelve together. I used my Grandma's tin of threads she gave me a while back. I loved the happy and bright colours. I am doing a new project kicking off on Wednesday which is along the same lines but with frogs instead of the owls.

A Season of Cheer Washi Tape Wednesday from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Hello Weekly Deals Wednesday crafters.

If you follow me on Facebook you may have noticed my new cover photo. It is a fancy angle picture of this card which I created with my Star Framelits and Season of Cheer Designer Washi Tape.

I fancied a change and something a little festive for my Facebook pages and thought these stars would be perfect.

I created this card by covering a few Whisper White scraps with strips of Season of Cheer Washi Tape and then running them through my Big Shot with the Star Framelits.

I created different sizes and cut windows from the middle of some to add embellishments.

I added Iced Rhinestones and Basic Rhinestones along with a Star from my pack of Home for Christmas Designer Buttons.

The sentiment is from Cozy Christmas. I coloured the stamp with Pear Pizzazz, Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Markers.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All that glitters is.... Gold!

Wow! Who knew gold tones would be so difficult to photograph! This card was a real labour of love to get a picture of. I love how it turned out though. This is another version of the washi tape card I shared on Wednesday. I used an old star punch in my stash to create the windows through to the fabulous Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape.

All demonstrators who attended Convention last year received this fantastic gold patterned washi tape and matching Sequin Trim as part of an all attendee giveaway. I've absolutely loved creating with the gold patterns. For this card I used Whisper White for the base card and layered with a little Brushed Gold cardstock to highlight the gold theme.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sketched Birthday stamp set using my Metallic Gold Encore ink pad (I hand cut and then layered with a scrap of Brushed Gold card which I then hand cut to form another gold accent). The final touch was the So Saffron button from my Subtles Designer Buttons pot which I tied with lovely Gold Bakers Twine from the Spring Summer Catalogue.

And as a crafty bonus I thought I would share a lovely thank you note I received from a Sale-A-Bration hostess over the weekend.  It really made me smile getting a fab handmade note in the post.

The outside of the card had the 'pssst' from Happy Watercolour stamped on it.

This was what was awaiting inside the card. A fantastic pop up banner using the Banner punch which is yours for free with a qualifying £45 order during Sale-A-Bration (which runs to the end of March so get your order in asap so you don't miss out!). I love everything about this card and just had to share with you all!

If you'd like to find out more about Sale-A-Bration, please pop by my 'Promotions' tab at the top or drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. Sale-A-Bration is the best time of the year for ordering Stampin' Up! products. Who doesn't love a good freebie?

Gingham Garden Washi Wednesday

Hello lovely crafty readers.

How is your week going? Can you believe there are only a few days left of February left? Where is 2014 disappearing too? Not that I'll be sad to see Spring and Summer and an improvement in our weather.

And speaking of better weather and Spring around the corner, today's washi tape creation was inspired by a sunny day over the weekend. Seeing the sunshine breaking through the clouds made me want to create something bold and bright to match the sky.

For this card I used Melon Mambo and Whisper White layered and punched with the Blossom Punch, Pansy Punch & Petite Petals Punch. I picked these three punches as I loved the decreasing sizes and how well they all worked together.

To create the background I stuck strips of Gingham Garden Washi Tape (a bargain at £4.50 for the three colour designs) randomly so they would show through the floral windows. To finish the card I picked three fab Brights Designer Buttons from my pack and tied with Bakers Twine. The sentiment from Itty Bitty Banners was stamped in Melon Mambo, hand cut and then blinged a little bit with Basic Rhinestones.

I love the simple effect of washi tape through punched windows. You could easily customise this with any punch shape or washi design for any occasion. I don't really need any excuse to break open a pack of washi tape though. I just love it and use it most crafty sessions.

Thanks for stopping by today and please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249 with any Stampin' Up! questions, to place an order, find out about joining my team or hosting a party. I'm only too happy to chat craftiness or stamping.

Quick and Easy Washi Thank Yous

Today's crafting share is a quick and easy thank you note I created to enclose with a recent workshop order. I always like to add a hand crafted note for my customers to let them know how much I appreciate their orders.

I like to come up with an easy to reproduce design that I can create on a 10.5cm x 9.9cm card base (this allows me to cut 3 notelet bases from one sheet of A4 cardstock).

This card uses Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight inks to stamp the Six Sided Sampler hexagon and sentiment (I used the bundle of products featured on Page 125 of the main catalogue to stamp and punch these hexagons- this bundle has proved a firm favourite with all of party customers so far this Stampin' Up! year). I layered the hexagon on to a circle of Melon Mambo (cut using my 4.4cm circle).

I used Gingham Garden Washi Tape (Page 171) to create the striped coloured layers on the card base. The beauty of Washi Tape is that it doesn't have to be precise. Each card looked a little different. To finish I used a dimensional to layer the circle on to the washi tape stripes.

Don't forget if there are any crafty essentials or must-haves that you'd like to get your hands on, you can now shop online 24/7. All items ordered will be shipped directly to you and you can even earn hostess freebies if you spend £150+ (who doesn't love freebies?!) And I'll also be posting a little extra something to all people ordering through my Online Shop throughout September.

For an extra chance to win freebies, add the Hostess Code below to your order and at the end of the month I will be totaling the month's freebies and offering them to one lucky winner.

Quick and easy Christmas makes

Today's crafty shares are two quick and easy Christmas makes. Both would be perfect for a Christmas table decoration or place setting.

Here are the two projects together. A stamped muslin bag and a decorated Ferrero Rocher chocolate:

I stamped the fantastic new Mini Muslin Bag (Page 36 of the Autumn Winter Catalogue) using the frame from Morning Post Numbers and the sentiment and present image are taken from the Wishing You stamp set on Page 23. I stamped the images using Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive and then sewed matching Designer Buttons on to the bag using Stampin' Up!'s fabulous Linen Thread.

We created this pennant embellishment by adding lengths of Bakers Twine to the muslin bag tie and then wrapping lengths of Season of Style Designer Washi Tape around the Twine and then cutting the v-shapes into the sealed tape. It is a great way of adding an extra little detail and showcasing the different uses for our Washi Tapes.
This was my favourite project of the day, a wrapped Christmas pudding Ferrero Rocher chocolate. I had seen this idea on Pinterest and knew it would be perfect for my Christmas Craft Day.

To create this project I cut a lattice shape in Early Espresso using the Lattice Big Die. I then attached a small piece of Sticky Strip to the top of the chocolate and then stuck the four corners to the sticky strip. I then covered with a small scallop circle punched using the 3.2cm Scallop Circle Punch (punched from Very Vanilla and sponged around the edges using Baked Brown Sugar). To finish we glued a small length of Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon to the scallop circle and punched an Itty Bitty Shape from Red Glimmer Paper.

Thank you for popping by today. I am going to be working on my project tutorials over the weekend to share the main projects from my craft day with you over the weekend and in to next week. Looking forward to sharing some new ideas and techniques with you then. In the mean time, a very happy weekend to you and, as always, happy crafting.

Happy Father's Day

I thought I would share the card I made to celebrate Father's Day today. I'm off to spend the afternoon with my Dad at the Isle of Wight Festival watching The Script and Bon Jovi (hoping the sun makes an appearance at some point, or at least that it stops raining for the headliners!).

The card I made for my Dad uses some special sneak peak papers to be seen in a new catalogue near you very soon (the fab New York inspired Soho Subway Designer Series Papers). The stamp set I used to create the fish is By The Tide and I embellished with the fab This and That Washi Tape, linen thread and a retired button.

Wishing you all a lovely & crafty Sunday and thanks for popping by today. Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there.
