A Christmas Magic Diamond Fold Christmas Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. How was your weekend? Mine was spent dealing with a series of moving related mini crisis (including a blocked drain and a smoking washing machine!). But I did buy my very first car. At the grand age of 35 I am now officially on the road with my bright yellow Hyundai, happily named the Sunny Sunflower by Summer.

The card I have to share today was one of the projects for my October card class. I do love a good fancy fold card and I'd seen a few of these on Pinterest and thought they'd make a perfect Christmas card as the shape of the card itself looks a bit like a Christmas cracker.

For the Cherry Cobbler card base I used the fab Splitcoast Stampers tutorial. I then added my Garden Green panels and stamped my images on to the Whisper White layers.

The pictures don't quite capture the sparkle of the card which I added with my Wink of Stella brushes. I stamped in Memento Black and coloured with my Stampin' Write Markers.

And the beauty of this Fancy Fold is that it folds down in to a compact 4" square envelope.

A Peace This Christmas stamped wreath from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafty lovelies.

What have you been making? I've been busy with a super jam packed crafty weekend. Saturday was my monthly card class and we were joined by a lovely old school friend of mine (and her 15 week old little girl) and her Mum. Lots of cards, cakes and cuddles! Then yesterday I went to a local papercraft show with some fab crafty friends. I only went to buy adhesives and came back with a groaning bank account! Isn't that always the way?

So today I have a card I created for my September crafty parties. I like to show effective basic stamping techniques to interest new crafters and experienced crafters alike. For this card we used a plain Whisper White cardbase and added a light pencil circle drawn around a roll of washi tape (or anything roughly the size of the wreath you want to create).

Starting with the darkest shade of green we stamped the leafy image from Peace This Christmas around the circle covering the pencil line. We then layered up the wreath using two further shades of green to give added depth and dimension to the wreath.

Once we'd created the basic wreath shape the banner was stamped in Real Red and adhered to the bunch of berries which were colored with Stampin' Write markers and hand cut. The banner was adhered with Dimensionals. For the final embellishment sequins and jewels were added to the wreath for decoration.

I love showing the simplicity of layering and stamping. This card could easily be sparkled up with glitter ribbon or added wreath decoration. Or it could be created by stamping only on one layer for quick and easy posting. Every lady who stamped during my September parties created their own unique wreath with different decorations.

A Fairy Celebration from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning lovelies. How has your week been? I've been enjoying creating with my gorgeous Autumn Winter preorder products. I have some sneak peeks for you next week. As you read this I will be finalising my table and prep for my 2nd Christmas Craft Day today. I have lots of fun in store for my ladies today and having received some great feedback from last Saturday's creating I am sure some beautiful creations will be made today.

My creative share for today was the result of a challenge I set myself to ink a stamp I'd not created anything with yet. The Fairy Celebration stamp set was on my must have list when I saw the new annual catalogue yet I hadn't gotten around to creating with it. I wanted a colourful but simple card to highlight the gorgeous fairy image. This is what I came up with:

I simply stamped the fairy in Memento Black ink and coloured with a selection of ink pads and Blender Pens. I added Dazzling Diamonds to the toadstool and brushed Clear Wink of Stella over my Soft Sky background to add extra sparkle. The final embellishments were the stars taken from the In Color Accents pack and the tiny pearls.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. A Swirly Bird Boat Thank You Note from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning lovelies.

How is your week going? What beautiful weather we are having. The Isle of Wight is positively beaming with sunshine. I am keeping my fingers crossed the sunshine holds out for the weekend and the Isle of Wight Festival. I haven't been for a few years now and I am so looking forward to some good live music (Queen with Adam Lambert are headlining on Sunday. I am super excited!).

Over last weekend I demonstrated for two groups of lovely ladies showing them all the loveliness of the new Stampin' Up! catalogue. I chose the Swirly Bird bundle for our make and take (which I will share with you later in the week). I wanted to demonstrate how versatile the stamp set is so created my hostess thank you note with the same set. I came up with this sea scene.

I used a Whisper White Notecard as my base and stamped the swoosh from the Painter's Palette stamp set in Night of Navy, Marina Mist and Pool Party for the ombre style sea. I then stamped the sun in Daffodil Delight and Watermelon Wonder  (I stamped the middle circle on scrap paper and cut around it and raised on a dimensionals).

I stamped the boat on to scrap paper. I pieced the boat together using the various stamps in the Swirly Bird stamp set. I stamped using Mint Macaron, Dapper Denim and Watermelon Wonder. The final touch is the Thank You from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set (I love a handwritten style sentiment).

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, or any of our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. An In the Meadow masked card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. How was your crafty weekend? Mine was a super busy one. I held my monthly class with 7 lovely ladies on Saturday where we got to have a play with the new In Colors and some sneak peek products. Then most of yesterday was spent reorganising and sorting out my craft space. I have moved my craft area from one of the spare rooms to my bedroom. So I have been setting up a new space which has meant lots of organising and sorting. I'm not quite there yet. But it is coming along nicely. And I have unearthed lots of lovely things I'd forgotten I had ;0)

I have a simple masking card to share today which uses the In the Meadow stamp set. The colours for this card are Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron. I cut my Whisper White banner first and stamped the deers. I then created a mask of the deers with a post it note. I adhered over the top of my Tip Top Taupe stamping. I was then able to stamp my Mint Macaron mountains over the top.

I layered my Whisper White banner over Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe DSP banners. I added the 'Dear Friend' from Cottage Greetings and finally embellished with Basic Pearls.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, or any of our products. I would love to help.
