A Fairy Celebration from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning lovelies. How has your week been? I've been enjoying creating with my gorgeous Autumn Winter preorder products. I have some sneak peeks for you next week. As you read this I will be finalising my table and prep for my 2nd Christmas Craft Day today. I have lots of fun in store for my ladies today and having received some great feedback from last Saturday's creating I am sure some beautiful creations will be made today.

My creative share for today was the result of a challenge I set myself to ink a stamp I'd not created anything with yet. The Fairy Celebration stamp set was on my must have list when I saw the new annual catalogue yet I hadn't gotten around to creating with it. I wanted a colourful but simple card to highlight the gorgeous fairy image. This is what I came up with:

I simply stamped the fairy in Memento Black ink and coloured with a selection of ink pads and Blender Pens. I added Dazzling Diamonds to the toadstool and brushed Clear Wink of Stella over my Soft Sky background to add extra sparkle. The final embellishments were the stars taken from the In Color Accents pack and the tiny pearls.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

A Fresh Fruit One Sheet Wonder Gift Set from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Tuesday Crafters.

How was your weekend? The Isle of Wight has been sprinkled with the most beautiful sunshine all weekend. In celebration of the summer I designed this gift set to teach at my July Monthly Card Class on Saturday. I haven't created with a one sheet wonder since  I first joined Stampin' Up! 6 years ago and had forgotten what fun they can be (stamp an A4 sheet of cardstock with multiple images and then use this as the basis of a series of cards). This was a project inspired by my lovely upline Michelle who created a similar project using the Blooms and Wishes stamp set.

This set is made up of 7 cards which I housed in this lovely little presentation box (instructions for the box can be found here thanks to Lyssa at Song of My Heart Stampers). I used up little scraps of DSP to make my decorative panel on the front of my box.

Here are the 7 cards that fit inside the box. I used the In Colors 2016-2018 as my color scheme combined with Pear Pizzazz. I also used highlights of the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper alongside the Sunshine Sayings Bundle to create my sentiments.  I also added washi tape from my washi stash.

I thoroughly recommend returning to a one sheet wonder if you haven't had a go for a while. It is a fun and super quick way to create a whole series of cards along one theme. And the set as a whole would make a lovely gift.

A Memories in the Making Valentines from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a very happy Wednesday to you.

I've been having fun with Stampin' Up! Project Life cards to make today's card. I wanted to experiment with the different designs to see what kind of card I could come up with.

The colour theme for this card is Watermelon Wonder so I picked cards from the Memories in the Making cards pack and then used embellishments from the Accessory Pack to finish the card.

I love the layered designs of the Project Life cards which goes to show that the cards can be used for a lot more than scrapbooking. I love the simplicity of layering all the little bits and bobs from the Accessory Pack. The packs contain alphabet stickers, shapes, wooden die cuts, washi tape and embellishments. Fun to add to cards or scrapbooking projects.

If you love these Project Life cards they are only available while stocks last until May 30th. Once they are gone they are gone. They are retiring at the end of this catalogue. There are lots of new lovely goodies coming on June 1st. If you'd like a copy of the new catalogue just drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk and I'll get one in the post to you.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, or any of our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!).

A Pot of Flowering Fields Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafty friends and a very Happy Leap Year Monday to you all. How was your weekend? Mine was super busy with my February Card Class and I got the baking bug. I spent yesterday making and baking all day and have a stock pile of Slimming World friendly snacks and cakes to prove it!

I have a card from my monthly card class to share with you this morning. I had seen this card over on my Demo friend Rose's blog and absolutely loved it so decided to give it a go myself. I loved the simplicity of the card.

I used an Old Olive card base which I mirrored in my colouring (I used my Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker for the leaves). I used my Curvy Corner Trio Punch for the fancy corners on my Whisper White layer.

I hand drew a template for the flower pot which I then used to trace enough pots for all my card class ladies. We cut the pot from Pumpkin Pie cardstock and sponge daubered with Cajun Craze to give the added dimension.

When it came to stamping the Flowering Fields flowers I marked the edges of my flower pot with pencil to give me a guide to position my flowers. I stamped my flowers in Memento Black ink and coloured with my Brights Stampin' Write Markers.

The sentiment is taken from Cottage Greetings and is stamped in Tempting Turquoise and Pacific Point (I used my markers to colour the stamp directly).

Flowering Fields is one of the exclusive stamp sets only available through March 31st as part of Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration promotion. You can receive this stamp set for free with a purchase of £45+. I love crafty freebies with my purchases. Sale-A-Bration really is the best time of the crafting year.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, Sale-A-Bration or any of our new products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. A Party Wishes Celebration from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafty friends and welcome to a new Spring Summer catalogue day.

The catalogue and Sale-A-Bration only launched yesterday and I have already welcomed a new team member and placed a little order to get my hands on another of the fantastic Sale-A-Bration freebie stamp sets.

I got a little crafty time last night with both the girls in bed early. Here is a birthday card I created using the Party Wishes stamp set. Would you believe I measured and taped my mask carefully to allow me to stamp the strip and it still ended up wonky! But that is the beauty of crafting. Not everything turns out perfectly. I still loved the overall effect of the card.

I started by masking the strip along the bottom of the card and stamping the cakes, balloons, candles and confetti in Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Tempting Turquoise. I then used a Sponge Dauber to add Daffodil Delight over the top to define my masked strip a little better.

To finish I added the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie and stamped the balloons (I hand drew the strings with my Pacific Point Stampin' Write Marker). I added three Brights Candy Dots along the bottom.

If you'd like a copy of the new catalogue to peruse at your own leisure, drop me a line with your address on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk and I'll get one in the post to you asap.

Check out all the details of the current Sale-A-Bration promotion by clicking the image below.

I'll be taking part in the Pinkies Team blog hop tomorrow evening so be sure to pop back to join in a fun Spring Summer inspiration hop. Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, Sale-A-Bration or any of our new products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. A Very Happy Crafty New Year from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy 2016 Crafty Friends.

As this is my first post of the New Year I wanted to send you all the warmest of wishes for the year ahead. May your craft rooms be overflowing, your brain full of ideas and never without inspiration and your heart loving every minute of crafty time (which is a little lacking in this house so I truly do love every minute I get to do anything crafty).

I've had a fun filled and busy festive season. New Year's Day was my birthday which was spent in good company with good (Slimming World) food. As fellow crafters will understand a birthday brings lots of lovely handmade cards and gifts. I was blessed to receive lots of lovely gifts from so many friends that I have made through my years with Stampin' Up!

I wanted to share a card I received with a little sneak peek product from the new Spring Summer catalogue. This card was sent to me by my lovely downline Sandy. She has been with me almost as long as I have been with Stampin' Up!

This card was created using the new Balloon Builders stamp set and a fabulous new punch called the Balloon Bouquet punch.

The sentiment is from the Ronald McDonald charity stamp set Sprinkles of Life and is punched using the Large Oval and Mounted on to an Elegant Eggplant Scallop Circle.

The new Spring Summer Catalogue, along with all the fabulous freebies in the Sale-A-Bration mini catalogue, launch TOMORROW!!! So please pop back tomorrow to find out more about all the lovely newness!!

Here is a display of some of the lovely birthday cards I received. I can't bring myself to take them down just yet. Maybe I'll keep them on display till the next family birthday in March.

And as for the big day, we spent the morning riding the local steam train. Summer loved the smoke and sticking her head out of the window watching the engine.

And Sylvie loved the playground!!

I have updated my classes info for the year ahead. I'd love to welcome you to one of my classes in Newport (Isle of Wight). More info below:

A Cozy Christmas Santa Flight from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a very Happy Christmas Week to you all.

I hope you've had a lovely weekend. We took the girls to see one of the big Christmas light displays locally which was lovely and festive. I still haven't started my Christmas wrapping though which was number one on my list of things to do this weekend.

I have a quick Cozy Christmas card to share with you today. This uses a Real Red cardstock base embossed with the Boughs and Berries Embossing Folder. I then layered with Old Olive and Whisper White.

I stamped the Santa and sleigh in Night of Navy and embellished with pearls and rhinestones. I wrapped my Oval layers with Silver Thread and then adhered Home for Christmas Designer Buttons.

I love a simple card like this. It came together quickly. Although it would probably need substituted embellishments for cheaper posting.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. A Lovely As A Tree Christmas Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Festive Friday.

I've been rushing round the shops this morning doing all my last minute finishing off bits and bobs. I am now fully stocked on wrapping paper and sellotape, stocking stuffer and treats. And this afternoon sees our big Christmas shop delivered with fun festive snacks for the next couple of weeks. I am now feeling more organised which is a relief.

Today I have a cardmaking class make from last weekend to share. I love the simplicity of the gold tones in this card. It features a circle embellishment stamped with the tall tree from the Lovely As A Tree stamp set (a long stay stamp set from the catalogue and a firm favourite of mine). I layered my stamping with Memento Black ink and then highlights of gold embossing over the top.

I used Gold Foil to highlight the circle and a thin layer of foil around the Whisper White layer. The gold embossed sentiment is from the Reason for the Season stamp set.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. A wintery Home for Christmas Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. How was your weekend?  Lots of festive-ness here with my December card class on Saturday. To celebrate I cracked open my pot of Waitrose Signature Spice and made a Spiced Orange and Almond Cake for my ladies. What a treat!

Today's festive card make is inspired by a lovely fellow Demo and team mate of mine Tracy May. I saw her version of this card on Pinterest and fell in love with it. I just adore these little deers. They remind me of being a child and of the images of Christmas we had on wrapping and paper and cards as children. I knew I had to have a go at making this card and putting the deer centre stage.

I started by punching the 2 1/2" Circle from the snow fall papers. I fussy cut my deer and adhered over the top. I added White Craft Ink with a sponge dauber across the bottom of the card (I also used my Chalk Marker to darken areas of the snow fall).

I stamped the Jingle All The Way sentiment in Real Red and added Rhinestones for sparkle.

This is an alternative version I created with a different deer and Silver Encore ink to give a little sparkle to the snow.

And here is a little peek of the cakes from Saturday's class. I had some issues slicing the clementines but it didn't stop it tasting lovely.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. Cheerful Season Flip & Fold Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters.

How was your week been? It has been a little hectic here what with getting back in to routines and tackling the washing mountain after our holiday.

I have a make from my September card class to share with you today. This is a Flip & Fold fancy fold card. I'd seen one on Pinterest and thought it would look perfect in the bold  Cheerful Season Designer Series Paper.  I used this fantastic Youtube tutorial from Beth Beard to get the basic template for my card correct. I love how you use the triangle you cut from the top to form the reverse pattern flipped bit at the bottom. I love any design that is economical with the Designer Series Paper.

I created a belly band from contrasting DSP from the same set and then added the floral centre piece. I simply picked a flower from the DSP and punched a circle which I then layered over a scallop circle cut from Silver Glimmer Paper.

This is the sentiment I created for inside my card using the Berry Merry stamp set.

I created two samples for my class in two different paper designs. I absolutely adore the bauble papers.

I just love the contrast and bold design of this card in these papers. And I've just noticed in the pic above one of the cards is upside down. Oops. You get the idea ;0)

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at your own crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project like this one too (no crafting experience necessary!). And until November 3rd Hostesses earn an extra 3% in freebies on parties over £200 in sales!!! A perfect time to get your hands on some lovely Christmas crafting stash and earn free product at the same time.
