A Season of Cheer Washi Tape Wednesday from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Hello Weekly Deals Wednesday crafters.

If you follow me on Facebook you may have noticed my new cover photo. It is a fancy angle picture of this card which I created with my Star Framelits and Season of Cheer Designer Washi Tape.

I fancied a change and something a little festive for my Facebook pages and thought these stars would be perfect.

I created this card by covering a few Whisper White scraps with strips of Season of Cheer Washi Tape and then running them through my Big Shot with the Star Framelits.

I created different sizes and cut windows from the middle of some to add embellishments.

I added Iced Rhinestones and Basic Rhinestones along with a Star from my pack of Home for Christmas Designer Buttons.

The sentiment is from Cozy Christmas. I coloured the stamp with Pear Pizzazz, Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Markers.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

Pinkies Sale-a-Bration 2015 Blog Hop - A Big Day Magic Slider Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We're showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using new Stampin' Up!® products that you can earn free during Sale-a-Bration. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

Thank you for joining me today from Cobi's blog. You've hopped here to the Isle of Wight for my little corner of Sale-A-Bration creativity. Sale-A-Bration is my absolute favourite time of the Stampin' Up! year. Who doesn't love a freebie as a reward for buying gorgeous crafting products?

I chose to feature the Big Day stamp set (along with the ribbons/buttons from the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack which is another freebie you can earn during the Sale-A-Bration sales period). I created this magic slider card and matching gift box perfect for fitting in a little choccie or candle gift.

I used the colours of the Accessory pack as my theme- Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana.

I created my slider element by creating a 2" wide Whisper White tag with my Scallop Tag Topper Punch. I then created a matching layered tag using a Window Sheet to layer over the top. I stamped my cake and greeting on to the Whisper White tag using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to exactly match the base image over the top on the Window Sheet tag (thus giving the magic effect when you pull the tag from the card).

I coloured my Whisper White tag with my Blendabilities Markers in Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral (don't forget you can also choose a colour set of Blendabilities as your Sale-A-Bration freebie if you want to start building your colouring collection).

And here is the little mini matching box I created using my Gift Box Punch Board. I used a 6" square piece of Crushed Curry cardstock which I then stamped with the matching Big Day stamps and coloured again with Blendabilities. I then tied with ribbons from the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack.

Thank you for joining me today for my little bit of Sale-A-Bration creativity. Hop on to Eveline's blog to continue the fun.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop (you can click on the pictures below) or get in touch directly and I'll order them for you. A quartet of button bauble cards from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a very happy December 16th to you lovely crafty friends.

I had a moment of panic this morning when I realised how many festive projects I still have to share with you in just over a week. I want all my festive projects posted before Christmas so that from Boxing Day onwards I can start giving you lots of lovely sneak peeks of all the loveliness to come in the Spring Summer catalogue and Sale-A-Bration (both kicking off January 6th!).

So this week pop back every day for lots of lovely Christmas-y projects. Remember both the Autumn Winter Catalogue and Supplement are only available to order from until January 5th. So while it may be a little late for your Christmas crafting this year, if there is that must have stamp or accessory, order now and tuck away for next years crafty preparations. All items can be ordered via my online store:

Just click Shop in the top right corner.

So today's festive projects are these quick and simple button bauble cards. I am a total button-aholic. I adore using brightly coloured buttons in all my crafting. So when I saw a similar card on Pinterest using just buttons and a pen for doodling the string I had to give it a go.

I used a pot of Brights Designer Series Buttons secured with Glue Dots to create the baubles at different heights. I tried all sorts of colour combinations including multi-coloured and single tone. I loved them all. I needed to make a quick batch of 10 for all the lovely ladies in my Hostess Club (click on the Virtual Club tab above to find out more. I have a new club starting in January and I would love to welcome you to the Club! Drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk to book a spot now and make the most of Sale-A-Bration!).

I doodled the ribbon using my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. The greeting is from the Good Greetings stamp set which is currently available to purchase through the Online Clearance Rack for the bargain price of £8.99!

I also tried making a couple with the gorgeous Nordic Designer Buttons from the Autumn Winter catalogue.

Such an effective but quick card to make. We all have buttons lying around our stash. And to make life even simpler I used the Stampin' Up! prescored notecards (with envelopes) to speed up the process.

If you have any questions about today's project or the products I have used, please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. You can order online direct through my store by clicking the product links below. I also have availability in the next few months for your very own crafty party so drop me a line to find out more and get your date in the diary.

Button Bird Birthday Card with Stampin' Up! Designer Buttons

Good morning and a Happy Tuesday to you.

As you can see I am continuing my button crafting theme. This card was inspired by this card I found on Pinterest. I loved the whimsical little birds and knew they would work perfectly with the gorgeous Stampin' Up! Brights Designer Buttons. These are the best quality buttons I've ever used in papercrafting (well worth the money!) and I love that they perfectly match the Stampin' Up! inks and cardstock.

To create this card I simply punched 3 different sizes circles from a Daffodil Delight layer and then positioned my buttons. Using my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker I then drew in the whimsical details of the little birds.

Be sure to check out the newly updated Clearance Rack by clicking the picture below. There are lots of newly added (and hugely reduced!) products at fantastic prices. But they are selling out fast so be sure to get your order in sooner rather than later.

You can order all Stampin' Up! products through my online store by clicking here or by clicking on any of the product links above. I will also happily order any products for you. Just drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249 and I'll happily assist.

Button Tree Birthday Card with Stampin' Up! Designer Buttons

Good morning crafters. How is this fine May treating you so far? Did you have a good weekend? It was a lovely bright and mild weekend here on the Isle of Wight. I was busily tucked up crafting. I made the most of every minute in my craft room as I had spent some time Pinteresting and was feeling super inspired. I also spent Saturday afternoon in the company of my lovely monthly card class ladies. More to come on those projects later in the week.....

Today's crafty make is this Button Tree Birthday Card.

I had seen a tree made with buttons on Pinterest and decided it would work perfectly with the stamped image from the Hopeful Thoughts stamp set. I stamped the tree in Chocolate Chip Ink on to a 9.2cm square of Baked Brown Sugar DSP from the 2013-2015 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack. I inked the edges in Chocolate Chip using my sponge dauber and then layered on to a 9.5cm square of Old Olive and a 10cm square of Naturals Ivory cardstock.

Once I had the basic layers (which I also wrapped with Linen Thread) I then arranged my Designer Buttons. I used different shapes and sizes from the Regals and Brights Collections. I laid them all out to cover the branches of the stamped image. Once happy with my arrangement I used Glue Dots to secure them to the card base.

Exciting news, be sure to check out the newly updated Clearance Rack by clicking the picture below. There are lots of newly added (and hugely reduced!) products at fantastic prices. But they are selling out fast so be sure to get your order in sooner rather than later.

A very Happy Birthday

Well technically this isn't entirely current Stampin' Up product but I wanted to share my sister's birthday cards with you all the same (and wish Natalie a very Happy Birthday today too ;0)

These are the two designs I came up with for Natalie's birthday today.

The first was inspired by a beautiful button rainbow I'd seen on Pinterest. I decided to give it a Stampin' Up! spin and create this for Aunty NatNip from Summer. I'm not sure where the sentiment came from off the top of my head. I think it is a retired Hostess sentiment set. I thought it worked perfectly with this rainbow design. I punched a scallop circle and inked the edges with Tempting Turquoise for the clouds and then created the rainbow with Bright and Regals Designer Buttons.

I have seen a lot of these Beautiful Wings Embosslit card and frame designs. I wanted to give one a go as I just adore this Embosslit (I don't think a crafting session goes by without me creating something with these butterflies). The papers I used are a now retired Stampin' Up! design. However, I wanted to use them as Nat and I had crafted together with them last year and they remind me of her ;0) I accessorised the butterflies with various sized basic pearls and raised some with dimensionals. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Hope you like my projects today and will join me in a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday to you" for my sister today who is busy working but will hopefully have the energy to enjoy our Chinese Takeaway this evening.

Happy Crafting ;0)
