A To You and Yours Joyful Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Hello and welcome to another Wednesday's fantastic Weekly Deals. Hop on over to my Online Store to check out this week's discounted products.

Today I have a make that I'll be sharing with some lovely ladies tonight at a friend's crafty Stampin' Up! party.  The hostess asked me to Demo one of the kits as she has a mix of experienced and new stampers. And of course the theme had to be Christmas. So I picked the fantastic To You and Yours Shaker Frames Card Kit.

I love this kit as it makes Shaker Cards so simple to make and I love the mix of sequins and sparkles for inside your shaker too. The kit is £21.75 and makes 18 cards. In the kit you get the foiled card bases as well as cut to size window sheets and all the embellishments too. You can choose to use the matching To You and Yours stamp set or use your own stamps to accessorise your stars, trees and circles.

I chose to purchase the matching To You and Yours set which meant I could add the string and top to create the decoration for the front of my card.

I embellished with gold stars and then added sequins to the inside of my shaker. I love the die cut words in the kit which are perfect for adding a greeting without stamping. Very festive.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at your own crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project like this one too (no crafting experience necessary!)

An English Garden Scrapbook Celebration from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Morning crafty friends. I thought I would take a little break from festive makes this morning and share a scrapbook page I made a couple of months back. I came across it over the weekend and thought I'd take a couple of pictures to share.

This page uses the lovely English Garden Designer Series Paper paired with the three step stamping set Garden in Bloom (photopolymer- so super easy to line up).

I started with a Whisper White 12"x12" base and then punched patterned circles using my 2" Circle Punch to create the patterned background.

I stamped the butterflies using colours taken from the English Garden DSP- Hello Honey, Night of Navy and Mint Macaron.

I added Metallics Sequins and Tiny Pearls for a little shimmer and texture.

I cut my title using the super useful Little Letters Thinlits in coordinating DSP.

I love creating scrapbook pages with lots of DSP and this was a perfect design for using up lots of little bits of English Garden paper that I had accumulated. I love the simplicity of adding a little bit of stamping detail too.

I hope you've had a lovely weekend. What beautiful weather we have been having. We ventured out for some fun in our campervan as well as visiting the Wolverton Garden Show. It is the last big event of the summer here on the Isle of Wight and we had a lovely time playing on games seeing all the beautiful hand made fair. It inspired me to create a lot of lovely bits and pieces that I look forward to sharing with you over the week. I've been having some festive fun and also creating with some of the lovely Stampin' Up! kits.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

A White Christmas Star Album Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Friday! Do you have anything exciting (and crafty) lined up for your weekend? I have my Autumn Winter catalogue Open House tomorrow between 10.30am and 2.30pm. If you would are on the Isle of Wight and would like to find out more about Stampin' Up! and have a go at a lovely festive make and take, please pop along. I'd love to see you.

Today I have another of my Christmas Craft Day makes to share with you. We all created one of these star album/cards. To create my sample I used this tutorial I found via Pinterest. The tutorial shows how to make a star shaped mini album. However, by adapting the tutorial and by cutting a rectangular window in the smallest layer, I was able to create a multi-scene card instead.

This project would have to be for extra special recipients though as it is fairly cardstock/DSP heavy. To create the whole star I needed 6 sheets of A4 coloured cardstock (I used Whisper White and Garden Green) and 2 complete sheets of Designer Series Paper (I used Merry Moments).

Within each section of the star I created a little Christmasy scene. I used the White Christmas stamp set for ease. I stamped each piece of Whisper White with the trees and then used different elements for each window scene.

I used my ink pads and blender pens to colour each scene. I love the subtle, almost watercoloured, effect of colouring with the blenders. It isn't as bold as colouring directly with markers. I embellished various scenes with glitter and/or sequins depending on the picture I was creating.

Each star section frame was embellished with Metallics Sequins and other stickers from my retired Stampin' Up! stash.

The whole project folds flat and can be decorated as a traditional card. The reindeer clip is to hold the star open when fully folded for decorative purposes. I love that is a special card or gift that can also become a festive decoration too.

A gold tone Little Letters scrapbook page by Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. It is the weekend ;0) And you know what that means? Another fab Pinkie team blog hop tomorrow. This time we will be celebrating the Spring Summer Catalogue I have a lovely set of notecards to share with you tomorrow so be sure to pop by to check out all the lovely creative inspiration from some fab fellow Demonstrators.

Today I have a scrapbook page to share with you. I'm a little scrapbook rusty. I've been so enjoying Stampin' Up! and Project Life that I've neglected my traditional 12"x12" scrapbooking. But I really enjoyed getting back to it this week.

For this page I used a Very Vanilla base with a 6" square of Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum. I stamped the small star flurries in Gold Encore ink using the background stamp from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Stamp Set.

I created my title with my Little Letters Thinlits Dies using Champagne Glimmer Paper. I added a length of Gold Satin Ribbon and Gold Sequin Trim.

I cut three stars from Brushed Gold cardstock using my Stars Framelits and scored from every point. I folded and then mounted to my page using Dimensionals layered on top of one another (I used 4) to keep the 3D effect.

To embellish my star background I added a little colour with my 2013-2015 In Colour Sequins.

I really enjoyed getting back to scrapbooking and I never need an excuse to show off pictures of my girls. This picture was taken on a walk to my Mum's house in the cold weather. My youngest is never shy of smiling when she sees a camera.

You can find out more about the new Spring Summer Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration promotion by clicking here or by using the navigation menu on the left. This really is the most exciting time of the year to shop. New products and fantastic freebie rewards too.

Blendabilities Bearing Gifts Christmas Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a very Happy December 22nd to you! How was your weekend? We had a lovely one here on the Isle of Wight. I have been wrapping and making and generally getting last minute things done for the big day! Can you believe its here almost? This year has run away with me! That'll be having a baby I guess. Time has just flown by.

I have another festive make to share today. I have to get in all my Christmas-y projects before I start my Spring Summer sneak peeks from Friday onwards. Today's make uses the Bearing Gifts stamped paired with my Blendabilities markers.

I stamped the main image using my Memento Black ink pad and then coloured and shaded with a variety of my Blendabilities. I used a dauber to sponge the edges of my Whisper White layer with Pool Party ink. I layered my stamped layer on to All is Calm DSP, Wild Wasabi and Pool Party cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment on to Wild Wasabi and cut to the banner shape.

Here is a close up of my Blendabilities colouring and the Frosted Sequin finishing touches.

Thanks for stopping by today. Lovely to have you visit on the lead up to Christmas. I'd love to see your festive makes so please leave me a comment so I can pop by and visit your blogs.

Wonderful Wreath Joy Shaker Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Hello lovely crafty friends! It is the weekend. Time to celebrate and get festive. The ads on TV are well and truly Christmasy now so I don't feel bad for spending my weekends making little festive fun things for my girls. I might even have to break open Elf over the weekend and partake of some festive film frolics with a bowl of maple syrup covered spaghetti.

Today's crafty share is a project I CASED from the lovely Kimberly Van Diepen over in the States. I just adored this simple Whisper White layered shaker card the moment I came across it on Pinterest. So I used it as the basis for my creation for my lovely team ladies get together this week.

I cut the 'Joy' using the fab Wonderful Wreath Framelits and then glued a small piece of Window Sheet over the back (a step I initially forgot and then wondered why all my shaker bits fell out the front of the card!! Doh!) to cover the cut out word.

For the shaker elements I used my Star Confetti Punch to cut lots of little Champagne and Silver Glimmer Paper stars which I then mixed with sequins from the In Color Sequin Assortment.

I surrounded the Joy with Dimensionals to create a seal around the area I wanted to shake. This prevents all the little stars from flying everywhere. It also gives this lovely shadowed raised effect too.

To finish the card I used some of the punched stars, sequins and basic rhinestones to create a little bit of bling and colour on the front of my card.

Thanks for stopping by today. If you have any questions about today's project or the products I have used, please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. You can order online direct through my store by clicking the product links above or the pictures below. All that glitters is.... Gold!

Wow! Who knew gold tones would be so difficult to photograph! This card was a real labour of love to get a picture of. I love how it turned out though. This is another version of the washi tape card I shared on Wednesday. I used an old star punch in my stash to create the windows through to the fabulous Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape.

All demonstrators who attended Convention last year received this fantastic gold patterned washi tape and matching Sequin Trim as part of an all attendee giveaway. I've absolutely loved creating with the gold patterns. For this card I used Whisper White for the base card and layered with a little Brushed Gold cardstock to highlight the gold theme.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sketched Birthday stamp set using my Metallic Gold Encore ink pad (I hand cut and then layered with a scrap of Brushed Gold card which I then hand cut to form another gold accent). The final touch was the So Saffron button from my Subtles Designer Buttons pot which I tied with lovely Gold Bakers Twine from the Spring Summer Catalogue.

And as a crafty bonus I thought I would share a lovely thank you note I received from a Sale-A-Bration hostess over the weekend.  It really made me smile getting a fab handmade note in the post.

The outside of the card had the 'pssst' from Happy Watercolour stamped on it.

This was what was awaiting inside the card. A fantastic pop up banner using the Banner punch which is yours for free with a qualifying £45 order during Sale-A-Bration (which runs to the end of March so get your order in asap so you don't miss out!). I love everything about this card and just had to share with you all!
