To You & Yours Star Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

I've been having fun with the To You and Yours Card Kit again.

I love the simplicity of using a kit. Everything you need to make these sparkly shaker cards in one place. All you need to add is ink and stamps of your choice. I've used Encore Gold to create the stars to match the star outline for my window.

Within the kit is this lovely snow sparkly glitter. I love using it to create these fun little snow scenes.

A To You and Yours Joyful Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Hello and welcome to another Wednesday's fantastic Weekly Deals. Hop on over to my Online Store to check out this week's discounted products.

Today I have a make that I'll be sharing with some lovely ladies tonight at a friend's crafty Stampin' Up! party.  The hostess asked me to Demo one of the kits as she has a mix of experienced and new stampers. And of course the theme had to be Christmas. So I picked the fantastic To You and Yours Shaker Frames Card Kit.

I love this kit as it makes Shaker Cards so simple to make and I love the mix of sequins and sparkles for inside your shaker too. The kit is £21.75 and makes 18 cards. In the kit you get the foiled card bases as well as cut to size window sheets and all the embellishments too. You can choose to use the matching To You and Yours stamp set or use your own stamps to accessorise your stars, trees and circles.

I chose to purchase the matching To You and Yours set which meant I could add the string and top to create the decoration for the front of my card.

I embellished with gold stars and then added sequins to the inside of my shaker. I love the die cut words in the kit which are perfect for adding a greeting without stamping. Very festive.

Fun with the Everyday Occasions Kit from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Evening crafters. Welcome to the weekend. I've had a super busy day getting ready for my new catalogue launch tomorrow (feel free to pop by if you are local on the Isle of Wight and fancy a little craftiness). I have lots of lovely craft items for sale as well as a fun make and take and copies of the catalogue for all attendees.

This week I went along to my monthly craft group with some lovely friends. We usually buy stamps to share amongst with our monthly subs. But this month we did something a little different and purchased the Everyday Occasions Kit from Stampin' Up! We thought as it was a crafty evening we could all share the kit contents and make ourselves some cards all together.

I cannot believe I haven't purchased one of these fab all in one kits before. Everything you need right in one lovely box including all the elements, Dimensionals, embellishments, cards, envelopes, stamps and ink (and there is even an acrylic block in the box too).

Here are the cards I made from the kit contents:

I love this Happy Birthday stamp. It would work really well on its own. So simple and it stamps beautifully:

I love the different styles and sizes of card in the kit. And the stamp set has a mix of sentiments for all occasions. Such a great all in one kit for the new stamper with clear and concise instructions or an easy to transport kit for the crafter on holiday.

Just a reminder, this and many other items are only available to order until June 2nd. After that we will have lots of new loveliness to drool over. But don't miss your chance to purchase your retiring favourites.

Perpetual Birthday Calendar Kit Part 2 created by Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

As promised I am back with another Spring Summer celebration post today. I love nothing more than new product and introducing new catalogues to all my lovely customers. And as I mentioned earlier in the week the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Kit is my favourite of all the new products (and there are a LOT of lovely things in the new Spring Summer catalogue) and I cannot wait to show my sample one off over the upcoming months.

I have the second half of the year to share with you today.

Starting with my slighty over stamped July page. I tried a different colour combo on this page (Blushing Bride, Real Red and Lost Lagoon) and embellished with confetti stickers and sequins (all part of the kit).

I love the little butterfly stamps and thought they would work well with the little sunburst stamps.

Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride and Lost Lagoon for September.

I wanted to have a go at capturing Autumn on my October page so I used the two different leaf stamps and tried the rock n roll technique with Hello Honey and Real Red to give a two tone effect to my leaves. I then stamped over the top with the second leaf stamp in Baked Brown Sugar.

I wanted to create fireworks for November so used a Hello Honey background and stamped over with Real Red stars and glued sequins for a little bit of sparkle.

And last but not least I created a winter snow themed December page.

Now all that remains is for me to dig through my diary (or failing that checking upcoming birthdays on Facebook) and filling in all my pages with upcoming celebrations.

I hope this has inspired you to have a go. It really is a great value kit at just £14.50 for the box and bits and £21.95 for the photopolymer stamp set  (which has numerous other uses for scrapbooking and cardmaking).

You can find out more about the new Spring Summer Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration promotion by clicking here or by using the navigation menu on the left. This really is the most exciting time of the year to shop. New products and fantastic freebie rewards too.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. My Burlap and Blooms Wreath from Stampin' Up!

My Mum & Dad have just moved house and I was pondering on a gift I could make for them to brighten the new space and start making the place their own. I surfed Pinterest for some ideas with no luck when all of a sudden I remembered I had purchased the fantastic Burlap and Blooms Wreath Kit from the Spring Summer Catalogue. I knew this would make a perfect New Home gift. So I plugged in my hot glue gun and set about creating the wreath.

Sometimes I just want the simplicity and ease of a kit. I love how everything is ready and waiting to go. All the pieces are there. You just have to assemble and stick. Perfect! So I stuck on the last few weeks Nashville episodes on 4OD and I was away.

I'd say it took about 2 hours or so to complete in total but I loved every step of the process from wrapping the burlap to creating the individual flowers to assembling the finished product.

Here are the full kit details. I love that you get all of this for £15.95. If you purchased a completed project in the shops it would cost considerably more and without the satisfaction of knowing you made it yourself.

Here are some closer pictures of all the different layers and textures that make up the floral elements.

My favourite flowers to create were the fringed wrapped flowers. I am going to have a go at something similar with my Fringe Scissors. That way I can create fringed flowers to match any project with any colour DSP.

I finished my wreath by tying a length of Natural Chevron Ribbon (not included in the kit) around the hanging Burlap loop. I liked the added dimension of the Chevron Ribbon.

All the elements that you see in this picture from the flower components to the buttons to linen thread are all included with the kit. All you need is some strong adhesive (I would recommend a glue gun for ease) to piece together the flowers and adhere to your burlap wrapped wreath.

If you haven't ordered your Burlap and Bloom wreath yet, you only have until June 30th to order one before the kit is retired for good. It is such a fun investment for £15.95.  You can order yours direct through my online store or drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk and I'd be happy to place an order for you.

And don't forget to check out the retiring products lists as well. Click on the picture below to connect through to my online store to see which products will be leaving us at the end of the month (and many are selling out fast!).
