An Affectionately Yours Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning lovelies. How is your week going? I've been busy prepping for my card class this weekend. I've been having great fun with all the new loveliness from the catalogue and especially the Foxy Friends stamp set and matching punch (I love this combo!).

Today's crafty share is a project we made at Telford as one of our Make & Takes on the day. This was designed to showcase the Affectionately Yours Product Suite as it combines the Floral Affection Embossing Folder with the matching stamps and designer series paper. I used the Telford project as my inspiration for this card that we made at a recent card class.

My favourite detail on this card is the copper embossing powder used for the sentiment. The copper embossing powder picks up on the copper highlights in the Designer Series Paper. It gives a lovely extra bit of glamour and texture to the card.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, or any of our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!).

A Cozy Christmas Hot Chocolate Gift Jar from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafty friends. Happy rainy Friday. I am sat contemplating a very wet walk to pre-school this morning. I am delaying the inevitable by talking to you instead.

I have a project to share from my Cozy Christmas product class earlier in the month. All my projects showcased different elements of the stamp set. I found these lovely little jars in my local discount store and thought they would be perfect for filling with hot chocolate, treats and marshmallows and decorating as a simple little Christmas gift for a friend or neighbour.

I started by creating the jar's belly band with strips of Night of Navy, Pool Party and Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper. I then punched two Decorative Labels and stamped the Cozy Christmas cottage on the Pool Party label. I used this label to cover the join in my DSP.

I added a little Dazzling Details sparkle to my label for extra sparkle.

I stamped a To and From tag with the cuppa from the Project Life Hello December Christmas stamp set and my Note Tag Punch. I tied this with Bakers Twine and attached to my jar to finish the project.

An English Garden Scrapbook Celebration from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Morning crafty friends. I thought I would take a little break from festive makes this morning and share a scrapbook page I made a couple of months back. I came across it over the weekend and thought I'd take a couple of pictures to share.

This page uses the lovely English Garden Designer Series Paper paired with the three step stamping set Garden in Bloom (photopolymer- so super easy to line up).

I started with a Whisper White 12"x12" base and then punched patterned circles using my 2" Circle Punch to create the patterned background.

I stamped the butterflies using colours taken from the English Garden DSP- Hello Honey, Night of Navy and Mint Macaron.

I added Metallics Sequins and Tiny Pearls for a little shimmer and texture.

I cut my title using the super useful Little Letters Thinlits in coordinating DSP.

I love creating scrapbook pages with lots of DSP and this was a perfect design for using up lots of little bits of English Garden paper that I had accumulated. I love the simplicity of adding a little bit of stamping detail too.

I hope you've had a lovely weekend. What beautiful weather we have been having. We ventured out for some fun in our campervan as well as visiting the Wolverton Garden Show. It is the last big event of the summer here on the Isle of Wight and we had a lovely time playing on games seeing all the beautiful hand made fair. It inspired me to create a lot of lovely bits and pieces that I look forward to sharing with you over the week. I've been having some festive fun and also creating with some of the lovely Stampin' Up! kits.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. An Awesomely Artistic Dragonfly Flight from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

How are you enjoying the new Stampin' Up! catalogue? It has been live for 2 months and the firm favourite product amongst my customers so far has to be Awesomely Artistic. This stamp set has flown off the shelves and I have loved seeing what my customers have been coming up with. It is such a versatile set and the beautiful dragonfly is so detailed.

So in honour of the fantastic layering stamp set I have CASED this card from the wonderfully creative Michelle Zindorf over in the USA. She uses amazing layering, inking and blending techniques with Stampin' Up! stamps to create incredible effects and cards. Her blog really is worth a look.

For this card I masked the edges with a piece of scrap paper and washi tape. I used the lines of my grid paper to mark precisely where I wanted the lines to be. I then used a Stampin' Sponge and inked Pool Party for the sky and Pear Pizzazz for the grass. I tried to get an ombre style effect by sponging darker towards the outside and lighter towards the middle.

I stamped the floral image across the bottom in Memento Black and coloured with my Blender Pens using Rose Red and Mossy Meadow.

I finished by stamping the dragonflies again in Memento Black. I then added White Gel Pen to the wings to give that extra bit of definition (I then used a non-SU silver sparkle pen over the top for a little glitter).

I am off work now for a week so hoping for lots of crafting and creating. And also lots of fun and games with the girls (*fingers crossed* for some lovely weather so we can get to the beach and splash park). I look forward to sharing my makes with you next week. I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy whatever you have planned.
