Sale-A-Bration 2016 New Team Member Gifts from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Morning crafters.

I've been busy creating my little business supply packs and gifts for the new team members who have joined my Inkin' Owls team during Sale-A-Bration so far. I joined Stampin' Up! during Sale-A-Bration 6 years ago and wouldn't look back. I love being involved with the company and have loved seeing my crafting skill and ability change and evolve over the time I've been with Stampin' Up!

This year you can sign up with Stampin' Up! for the usual starter kit price of £99. For that you can choose £160 of current product from either the main or the Spring Summer catalogue. It really is such a great time to sign up- such great value for money. And don't forget you will then benefit from an ongoing 20% discount on all future purchases as a Demonstrator. The great thing about being involved with Stampin' Up! is you can grow your business to a level that suits you. So if joining just for the discount is what you fancy, that is fine. But you can grow a great and profitable business also if that is the opportunity you are looking for.

Can you spot the theme with my team member packs? We are the Inkin' Owls after all.....

Alongside the little packs of crafty goodies I give my new team members I also put together a little business pack of ideas on how to grow your business and get started.

I love my little Pink Owl labels. She is even holding an envelope (we can assume with a handmade card inside!).

Here is a closer look at the contents of the pack including these adorable little owl post in notes with a matching covered notepad.

For more information please have a read through the info on the 'Join My Team' tab above. Or drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249 to ask any questions. I'd love to welcome you to the Inkin' Owls and put one of my team packs in the post to you today ;0)

Thank you for popping by today. Pop back on Monday for more craftiness. I'll be sharing a very special birthday card I made for my Mum. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, Sale-A-Bration or any of our new products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!).

A Cozy Christmas Hot Chocolate Gift Jar from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafty friends. Happy rainy Friday. I am sat contemplating a very wet walk to pre-school this morning. I am delaying the inevitable by talking to you instead.

I have a project to share from my Cozy Christmas product class earlier in the month. All my projects showcased different elements of the stamp set. I found these lovely little jars in my local discount store and thought they would be perfect for filling with hot chocolate, treats and marshmallows and decorating as a simple little Christmas gift for a friend or neighbour.

I started by creating the jar's belly band with strips of Night of Navy, Pool Party and Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper. I then punched two Decorative Labels and stamped the Cozy Christmas cottage on the Pool Party label. I used this label to cover the join in my DSP.

I added a little Dazzling Details sparkle to my label for extra sparkle.

I stamped a To and From tag with the cuppa from the Project Life Hello December Christmas stamp set and my Note Tag Punch. I tied this with Bakers Twine and attached to my jar to finish the project.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. Crazy About You Typeset Papercut Birthday Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Monday crafters.

What a weekend. I spent Friday and Saturday with my fantastic Stampin' Up! team and friends. It is one of my favourite things about being a Demonstrator. Sharing inspiration and ideas with lots of other fellow Demos from around the country. At our Telford Regional there are lots of opportunities to win prizes (I was very lucky and won a prize patrol from the new catalogue!) as well as sample display boards, lovely lunch and swaps with friends.

I wanted to share another birthday project with you today. I made this for my sister earlier in the month. I have become a little obsessed with a new hobby- papercutting (a long process but very therapeutic and fun). I used a template to cut the quill which I mounted on to Rich Razzleberry.

I used a Typeset Speciality Designer Series Paper layer over a Champagne Glimmer Paper layer (unfortunately this is now sold out so could be substituted for Gold Glimmer).

For the greeting I used my Crazy About You Bundle. I cut the 'Happy' with the Hello You Thinlits and then matched this with the 'Birthday' from the Crazy About You stamp set.

My sister loves to read and to write stories.  So I matched her quill card with a folded book (another of my FAB new hobbies). I used a template created by Anna Marie Book Art on Etsy.

And here is the framed paper cut I also made for my sister. Template by the amazing Paper Panda.

Pop back later in the week and I'll share some of the amazing swaps I received at Telford as well as share a few little sneak peeks too.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

Happy Valentines Day from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a very Happy St Valentines Day to you.

I have a little bonus crafty make for you this morning. Summer and I spent hours yesterday hand crafting lots of lovely heart shaped choccies for all the family. We used a silicone heart shaped mould and filled the bottoms with lots of lovely pink treats from mini marshmallows to Eton Mess cake topping to freeze dried raspberries. We then melted white and milk chocolate and poured in to each mould and left in the fridge to harden. We were inspired by this Pin.

I should have taken a picture before we packaged them as they were beautiful (and very clearly heart shaped). The pictures don't do them justice.

Anyways, what would lovely handmade chocs be without handmade Stampin' Up! packaging. I set Summer to work with a Real Red ink pad and some Whisper White card and she expertly stamped the little bird from the Hey, Valentine stamp set. I cut round each bird and we mounted on to a tag with a little punched heart. We then popped our choccies in to a little Cello bag and tied with Bakers Twine.

It was as simple as that! Perfect little Valentines gifts for all the family.

And here are my two hard at work making the choccies. Well Summer was making and as you can tell from Sylvie's face she was busy eating our makes ;0)
