A Stampin' Colouring Book Gift from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Monday Crafters.

What a weekend it has been.  I hosted the first of my annual Christmas Craft Days on Saturday. What a fantabulous day we all had. My ladies created some lovely projects and I gave them a little sneak peek of my Autumn Winter goodies. I am definitely now in Christmas crafting mode and think I might make a start on my Christmas card stash imminently.

I have a different little project to share with you today. This was the gift for my Hostess Club ladies with their July orders. If you'd like to find out more about my virtual clubs you can click the tab above. But in essence I run a monthly club where each member places a monthly order (£15 minimum) and one month you receive the hostess freebies and each month with your order is a handmade gift from me (as well as a gift for joining too). You also receive a copy of each catalogue launched during your time in the club. I welcome new members at any time for a duration of 10 months. You are more than welcome to join from anywhere in the UK. You don't have to be local to the Isle of Wight. I post lovely crafty packages all over the UK on a monthly basis.

With the current trend for adult colouring books and mindfulness I thought I would have a go at creating my own Stampin' Up! mini book for my lovely club members which I packaged with a little pack of colouring pencils.

Creating my colouring ages allowed me to go through my stamp shelves and pick out all the sets with black and white outlines. I inked up some images I haven't used in ages. It was fun to just go through and just stamp without worrying about lining up and stamping in exact positions.

I think these little colouring sets would make lovely little gifts or could be adapted in to a colour your own birthday or Christmas card set.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

#Imbringingbirthdaysback You're So Lovely Birthday Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

A very Happy Monday to you all from Stampin' Sarah HQ. It has been a super busy day here hence the much later blogging than usual. I have been hard at work prepping for my Tin of Cards class on Saturday (what a lovely kit that is to work with! More on that later in the week though).

Today I have a lovely card I received to share with you. This is not one I crafted for myself. There is a lovely crafter in the US, Shannon West, who works at Stampin' Up! Head Office who has started the #Imbringingbirthdaysback movement. She posted earlier in the year that she thinks social media has ruined birthdays as no one sends birthday cards any more. So she asked if anyone would like a handmade card sent from the US to celebrate their birthday. At last look the post had over 1000 comments with people's birthdays listed ;0)

I posted that my birthday had been and gone by the time she started sending cards (I'm January 1st) but lo and behold I came home in the week to see this envelope sitting waiting for me. I was absolutely delighted! Shannon has written a lovely message inside and said I could still celebrate a few weeks late ;0) And I guess this is the whole point. Feeling such delight at receiving a handmade card is why we all craft and make and give to those we love. So I have made a long list of birthdays for the year and I going to make a concerted effort to get cards in the post to pay it forward.

I love the sentiment of what Shannon has started and as crafters I am sure we need no excuse to get creating. So crack open your Perpetual Birthday Calendar kit. Mark all those upcoming birthdays on it and get crafting..... And if you'd like a handmade card from me from the Isle Of Wight just drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk with your name, birthday and postal address. I am happy to post worldwide so just let me know when and where and there'll be something special winging its way to you.

And I also have an update on my KLT Charting Owl Stitch Along. We have a new Owl being released this Wednesday so I wanted to keep you up to date on my project's progress. I found in my Grandma's tin this lovely blue variegated thread. So that is how I dressed Owl No 2.

And I decided to be a bit cheeky and outline the next two to make life a little easier when the next two Owls are released. I can just get on and stitch without worrying about my outline first.

Thank you for popping by today. Pop back on Wednesday for more craftiness. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, Sale-A-Bration or any of our new products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!).

Happy Valentines Day from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a very Happy St Valentines Day to you.

I have a little bonus crafty make for you this morning. Summer and I spent hours yesterday hand crafting lots of lovely heart shaped choccies for all the family. We used a silicone heart shaped mould and filled the bottoms with lots of lovely pink treats from mini marshmallows to Eton Mess cake topping to freeze dried raspberries. We then melted white and milk chocolate and poured in to each mould and left in the fridge to harden. We were inspired by this Pin.

I should have taken a picture before we packaged them as they were beautiful (and very clearly heart shaped). The pictures don't do them justice.

Anyways, what would lovely handmade chocs be without handmade Stampin' Up! packaging. I set Summer to work with a Real Red ink pad and some Whisper White card and she expertly stamped the little bird from the Hey, Valentine stamp set. I cut round each bird and we mounted on to a tag with a little punched heart. We then popped our choccies in to a little Cello bag and tied with Bakers Twine.

It was as simple as that! Perfect little Valentines gifts for all the family.

And here are my two hard at work making the choccies. Well Summer was making and as you can tell from Sylvie's face she was busy eating our makes ;0)

Painted Blooms Notebook from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafty friends and a very Happy Weekend to you!

I'm posting a day later than usual. I got a bit sidetracked yesterday morning placing the order for Thursdays's fab Sale-A-Bration party and I completely forgot to finish writing today's post. So I am having a bloggy catch up while watching Downton Abbey (how did I miss watching this before? I am totally hooked!).

So here is today's crafty share a bit later than anticipated. This is the gift I made as a thank you for my January party hostesses (personalised for each hostess). I always like to make a handmade thank you on top of the amazing benefits offered by Stampin' Up!

I made this notebook by covering an A4 journal with some gorgeous (but sadly retired) patterned Kraft cardstock (you can still purchase plain Kraft in the catalogue and stamp a design yourself). I then cut floral designs from the gorgeous (and hugely popular amongst my customers this month) Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper and layered over an Elegant Eggplant label cut using the Apothecary Accents Framelits.

I personalised the label with letters cut from Silver Glimmer Paper using my Little Letters Thinlits Dies.

If you would like to book your own crafty party for you and your friends and family and receive a special handmade gift from me as well as fantastic Sale-A-Bration and Hostess freebies from Stampin' Up! then please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. I have dates available through February and March  and would love to come and show you Stampin' Up!'s fantastic range of craft supplies.

A very Happy Wonderful Christmas Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters!

Hope you are having a lovely crafty week. I had a rare day of craftiness yesterday as my Mum and Dad took Summer to visit my grandparents on the mainland. I managed to make 40 swaps for a Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration event next week and a retirement card for my lovely chiropractor (both projects I will share next week). So all in all a very productive day.

Today's card share is the project we made at my November craft parties. I combined the Festival of Trees stamp set with a strip of Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and is taken from the Wondrous Wreath stamp set.

I love the two step stamping effect (made so much easier with the new photopolymer stamps) of the tree with baubles. I added an extra dimension by first stamping the baubles in Gold Encore then stamping over the top in Cherry Cobbler ink (slightly off setting the baubles).

To finish I punched a star using my Itty Bitty Accents star punch from Champagne Glimmer Paper.

This is a great card to reproduce quickly and easily. Perfect for all those cards for family, friends and colleagues.

Don't forget to check out this weeks fab Weekly Deals by clicking the image below.

Thank you for popping by today. I hope you enjoyed today's crafty festive project. I'll have another project to share tomorrow so please come back to see what else I've been creating.

Fun with Nature's Peace and Stampin' Up!'s Petite Cafe Gift Bags

Good morning and welcome to the official start of the weekend. I am all packed and ready for a Stampin' Up! party tonight with a group of new crafters. So excited to meet them all and share Stampin' Up! and our fantastic Autumn Winter catalogue (filled with festive inspiration).

Today's crafty make is inspired by a project I found in the catalogue. I love the simplicity of this stamped Petite Cafe Gift Bag.

I stamped the Nature's Peace stamp straight on to the Petite Cafe Gift Bag in Chocolate Chip ink. It is a little challenging to get a complete image due to the folded ridge in the bag. However, with a firm press down on your stamp it is possible to get a good image. I covered a slight break in the image with my star embellishments which are punched with my Itty Bitty Accents punch from Cherry Cobbler and then finished with a Gold Sequin taken from a length of trim.

For the tag I stamped the 'Merry' from Seasonally Scattered on to a piece of Cherry Cobbler card and punched with my Decorative Label Punch. I secured to a length of tied Gold Baker's Twine with a Mini Metallic Clothespin.

These little gift bags are perfect for presenting your Christmas gifts or making as table place markers filled with chocolates. My ladies at my card class all had lots of ideas for what they would put inside from jewellery to smellies to handmade sweets. I gave them some choccie coins to put inside as I cannot bear to make something Christmas-y without a little chocolatey treat.

I'd love to see your festive creations or ideas for Stampin' Up! products. So if you are reading and have a blog, please leave a comment to point me in your direction. I'd love to come and say hello and see what you've been making too.

Thank you for popping by today. If you have any questions about today's project or the products I have used, please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. You can order online direct through my store by clicking the product links above or the pictures below.
