A Stampin' Colouring Book Gift from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Monday Crafters.

What a weekend it has been.  I hosted the first of my annual Christmas Craft Days on Saturday. What a fantabulous day we all had. My ladies created some lovely projects and I gave them a little sneak peek of my Autumn Winter goodies. I am definitely now in Christmas crafting mode and think I might make a start on my Christmas card stash imminently.

I have a different little project to share with you today. This was the gift for my Hostess Club ladies with their July orders. If you'd like to find out more about my virtual clubs you can click the tab above. But in essence I run a monthly club where each member places a monthly order (£15 minimum) and one month you receive the hostess freebies and each month with your order is a handmade gift from me (as well as a gift for joining too). You also receive a copy of each catalogue launched during your time in the club. I welcome new members at any time for a duration of 10 months. You are more than welcome to join from anywhere in the UK. You don't have to be local to the Isle of Wight. I post lovely crafty packages all over the UK on a monthly basis.

With the current trend for adult colouring books and mindfulness I thought I would have a go at creating my own Stampin' Up! mini book for my lovely club members which I packaged with a little pack of colouring pencils.

Creating my colouring ages allowed me to go through my stamp shelves and pick out all the sets with black and white outlines. I inked up some images I haven't used in ages. It was fun to just go through and just stamp without worrying about lining up and stamping in exact positions.

I think these little colouring sets would make lovely little gifts or could be adapted in to a colour your own birthday or Christmas card set.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

Reason for the Season meets Thankful Forest Friends from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Friday crafters.

What will your weekend have in store? I am hoping to put my feet up with a cuppa and get some stitching done. I have a few Christmas cards to finish stitching as well as a couple of practice embroidery kits I got at the Kirsty Alsop show a couple of weeks back. Fingers crossed I get a few minutes to have a go.

Today I have a Thank You card I made by combining Thankful Forest Friends and Reason for the Season stamp sets.

I created the background by layering the outline and leaf/petal stamps in a random pattern over my Whisper White layer. I used a 21cm x 14.9cm card base (scored at 10.5cm). I then created a WW layer 10cm x 14.4cm.

For my sentiment layer I cut the Cherry Cobbler layer at 7cm x 4cm. The Whisper White layer which I punched in the corners with the new Trio Corner Punch was 6.5cm x 3.5cm.

I wanted a simple Thank You sentiment to accompany a Hostess Gift so I used my Stampin' Write markers for some creative colouring. I changed the Thankful Forest Friends 'Thankful for You' stamp in to Thank You simply by selectively colouring my stamp. I used the same direct stamp colouring for the multicoloured finished image (leaves and flourish).

I finished with Regals Candy Dots and mounted my sentiment layer on to Dimensionals.

A Garden in Bloom Gift Set from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. It is Weekly Deals Day. A perfect time to pick up some bargains including the fab Star Framelits for £18.00. I love these Framelits for all occasions but with Christmas crafting preparations starting very soon these are a great addition to your crafting tool kit.

As promised, I have my Garden in Bloom gift set to share with you today. I made this little thank you set for my weekend party Hostess.

I used Soft Sky, Island Indigo & Marina Mist to stamp the flowers matched with the English Garden Designer Series Papers.

For the sentiment I used the Cottage Greetings stamp set and added Basic Pearls.

I created a matching Thank You tag using the Scalloped Tag Top Punch which I added to the stamped candle I shared on Monday. A simple matching gift set.

Don't forget to pop over and have a look at this weeks Weekly Deals to see what bargains are on offer this month.

A Butterfly Basics Hostess Gift from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafty friends.

I'm a bit later with my posting than normal this week. We returned from a lovely week away to France at the weekend so fitting in crafting amid washing and unpacking proved a little challenging. But I did manage to sneak an hour for creating last night. I have a Stampin' Up! crafty party this week and wanted to make something special for my Hostess.

I found a pack of these little notebooks in my 'crafty inspiration' drawer full of things I will get round to making eventually. I thought they would make perfect gifts for upcoming new catalogue party hostesses.

I used my Butterfly Basics stamp set with the Butterfly Framelits (available together as a fantastic bundle for a 15% saving) to create the background and butterfly feature. For the background I stamped the flower from Butterfly Basics in Versamark and heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss powder. I then stamped the small butterflies in Watermelon Wonder ink.

I added the white film frame cut with the On Film Framelits and the larger butterfly cut with my Butterfly Framelits. To finish I added an In Color Blossom in Mint Macaron and Itty Bitty Flowers punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack from Mint Macaron Cardstock (I added a White Candy Dot for the centre of the flower).

I have added a special Stampin' Up! pen to the gift and will set about designing a gift bag this evening.

If you would like to host your own Stampin' Up! party I would love to come and demo for you and your friends and family. I always make a gift for all my hostesses on top of the fab product freebies you will receive from Stampin' Up! themselves. I also provide all materials for you and your attendees to complete a stamping project aimed at all levels of experience from a new stamper through to the more experienced crafter.

Thank you for popping by today. Don't forget to check out this week's Weekly DealsPlease let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. Petite Cafe Gift Bag Hostess Gift for March from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a very Happy Easter Monday to you all.

I hope your day is as sunny and bright as it is here on the Isle of Wight. Has your long weekend been fun? Ours has been jam packed with family, food, Easter Egg Hunts and chocolate (but not much crafting!).

I have a project to share with you today that I created with the gorgeous Stampin' Up! Petite Cafe Gift Bags and the Work of Art stamp set.

I had bought a whole series of Artisan Embellishment Kits for my virtual Hostess club ladies to go with their March orders. I needed to create something lovely to put the gift in. This is what I came up with.

I used the 2014-2015 In Colors as my inspiration. The stamping on the tag (punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch) is done with Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss. I then added Rich Razzleberry Ribbon and an In Color Clothespin to finish.

I love the Work of Art stamp set. It has so much potential and so many different uses. It works really well with the stamping off technique which I used above. To get the layers of colour I initially stamped the paintbrush effect stamps off on a scrap piece of paper. I then stamped over in fully inked chevrons and sentiment. This gives different tones from one ink pad.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop (or click on the links below to find out more about specific products) or get in touch directly and I  can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door.

A Work of Art Hostess Thank You Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. What a wet and grey start to Good Friday. I'm hoping the weather improves a bit here on the Isle of Wight as we have an Easter Egg Activity Hunt to get to at 11am at the RSPCA. The girls have their Easter Bonnets all ready and everything ;0)

I have a thank you card creation to share today. I made this for a lovely friend who recently hosted a Stampin' Up! party at her home. This is inspired by a card I saw over at Pootles blog. I love the ombre effect of inking the stamp once and then stamping three times so you get the gradually lightening tones.

The colour I picked for this card is one of my favourites, Coastal Cabana. I stamped the swish from Work of Art three times and then added the fancy 'Thank You' from Another Thank You.

I added the little Silver Glimmer Paper shapes punched with the Itty Bitty Accents punches for an extra bit of bling (no card is complete without sparkle).

I'd like to wish you a very Happy Easter weekend. I hope you get lots of crafty time as well as fun doing whatever you have planned.

Another Thank You meets Work of Art from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a Happy New Crafty Week to you!

How was your weekend? It was so cold here on the Isle of Wight. A lot of my plans with the girls were scuppered by the cold so instead we just stayed in the warm and did a bit of crafting instead. I got my new wood burning tool out of the box (a Christmas pressie) and had a practice at burning some scraps of wood. It wasn't perfect but very enjoyable.

So today's quick crafty make is a Thank You card I made for one of my party hostesses this month. Jan absolutely loves all things purple. So I designed her thank you note with that in mind.

The colour scheme is Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant. I combined the Another Thank You stamp set with the paint splash from Work of Art. The butterfly embellishments are from the fantastically versatile Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set. And it was all finished with 3 of the largest Basic Jewels.

Thank you for popping by today. You can find out more about the new Spring Summer Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration promotion by clicking here or by using the navigation menu on the left. This really is the most exciting time of the year to shop. New products and fantastic freebie rewards too.

Painted Blooms Notebook from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafty friends and a very Happy Weekend to you!

I'm posting a day later than usual. I got a bit sidetracked yesterday morning placing the order for Thursdays's fab Sale-A-Bration party and I completely forgot to finish writing today's post. So I am having a bloggy catch up while watching Downton Abbey (how did I miss watching this before? I am totally hooked!).

So here is today's crafty share a bit later than anticipated. This is the gift I made as a thank you for my January party hostesses (personalised for each hostess). I always like to make a handmade thank you on top of the amazing benefits offered by Stampin' Up!

I made this notebook by covering an A4 journal with some gorgeous (but sadly retired) patterned Kraft cardstock (you can still purchase plain Kraft in the catalogue and stamp a design yourself). I then cut floral designs from the gorgeous (and hugely popular amongst my customers this month) Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper and layered over an Elegant Eggplant label cut using the Apothecary Accents Framelits.

I personalised the label with letters cut from Silver Glimmer Paper using my Little Letters Thinlits Dies.

If you would like to book your own crafty party for you and your friends and family and receive a special handmade gift from me as well as fantastic Sale-A-Bration and Hostess freebies from Stampin' Up! then please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. I have dates available through February and March  and would love to come and show you Stampin' Up!'s fantastic range of craft supplies.

Virtual Hostess Club Mini Easel Gift from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and very warm welcome from the Isle of Wight on this fine and mild December 1st morning. Today signals the official start to the festive countdown. Already today I have hung my 12 Days of Christmas cross stitch and both the girls are in the first of several (many!) Christmas outfits. I'm also going to be starting my Project Life December album today (pictures to come- woohoo!)

I have a special project to share with you today. This was a bit of a labour of love as I made 10 of these little mini easels for my virtal hostess club ladies to go with their November orders. I wanted a little decorative gift (this was my inspiration). Something a bit different to contribute to their festive preparations. I picked up the mini easels from my local The Works store.

Then came the fun bit, decorating and designing. I used the Typeset Designer Series Speciality Paper as my base. I gave it this antique aged effect with Soft Suede ink and a Stamping Sponge.

I then stamped the flourishes and leaves (both from retired Christmas stamp sets).

To create my Punch Art Poinsettia I punched lots of Cherry Cobbler wings from the Bird Punch and glued together in a circle layering on top of one another using Glue Dots (I also lightly daubered the edges with Cherry Cobbler ink). I then punched a Cherry Cobbler flower using the Petite Petals Punch which I curved with my Bone Folder for the top layer. For the flower centre I used three tiny Basic Pearls which I coloured with my Daffodil Delight Blendabilities Markers.

The final detail was the 'Joy' which I punched in Cherry Cobbler on to Old Olive cardstock using my Epic Alphabet stamp set. I then cut this and glued to my canvas. I finished with a bit of doodling with my Basic Black Stampin' Write marker and a mini star punched from Champagne Glimmer Paper.

I sprayed the whole canvas with Smooch Spritz to give it a sparkly festive sheen. However, this has not come out in the photographs. You'll just have to take my word for it that these canvases are lovely and sparkly.

I hope you've enjoyed my festive share today. I am so excited to start my December album with you more in the week. Keep your fingers crossed I can get the girls to sleep early enough to crack on with Day 1.

If you have any questions about today's project or the products I have used, please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. You can order online direct through my store by clicking the product links above or the pictures below. Flower Pot Diaries for my Hostess Club from Stampin' Up! UK Independent Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning all and a very Happy Friday to you. What are your weekend plans? I had hoped to get lots of crafting done but I have a craft related injury involving a glue gun and both thumbs which is making all things crafty quite challenging. Hoping my burn blisters heal quickly as I have a few things to prep for next weekend's Gifts for Girls Christmas Fayre in Cowes (stop on by between 10.30am and 4.30pm on Saturday 15th November at Cowes Yacht Haven).

Today's share is last month's Hostess Club gift. I made covered diaries for my ladies last year and they went down a treat. So I had another go. I purchased the little diaries in Tesco and then used a pack of Flower Pot Designer Series Paper to create the covers. I was able to get two covers from a sheet of 12"x12" (with some excess spare for smaller projects).

For the '2015' I used my Skinny Mini Photopolymer Alphabet stamped in Night of Navy and then punched with my Curly Label Punch. The final embellished touch was a matching flower punched with my Itty Bitty Accents flower punch.

The final touch was this stamp inside. This isn't strictly Stampin' Up! as it is a stamp set I have had in my stash for quite a while. But the stamp is very true for all my Hostess Club ladies. If you would like to find out more about joining one of my Virtual Clubs and earning hostess freebies (as well as receiving a handmade gift from me each month) please drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or click on the Virtual Club tab above.

Endless Wishes Hostess Thank You Gift Set from Stampin' Up! UK Independent Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters and welcome to a new crafty week here at Stampin' Sarah HQ. My week has been thrown all out of whack by my other half having yesterday off work. It felt like a Sunday and subsequently my blogging schedule for the week has been thrown off course. But I have lots of lovely makes to share with you so be sure to check back to catch up with what I have been making.

I caught up with some lovely friends on Saturday for a Stampin' Up! crafty party. We had a good natter, cookies and crafting too. It was a lovely afternoon. Today's crafty share is the gift set I made for my hostess for the afternoon.

I made this gift set using the Endless Wishes stamp set and I created a card, gift bag and tag.

For the card I used the block inking technique. I simply pressed my acrylic block in to my Pool Party and Soft Sky ink pads and then created a background by pressing the ink to my Whisper White card base. I then stamped the snowflakes in Island Indigo and Encore Silver. I embellished with Basic Jewels (some of which I coloured with my darkest Night of Navy Blendabilities pen).

The sentiment is taken from the Another Thank You photopolymer stamp set.

Here is the complete gift set complete with a stamped paper bag in matching Island Indigo and Bermuda Bay. I took Summer to a local bakery just around the corner on Saturday morning and I am teaching her to ask and pay for her own treats. She proudly produced her £1 from her pocket and we asked the lady for a sausage roll which was presented to her in this brown paper bag. I instantly realised it would be perfect for my hostess gift. So I quickly nabbed it for embellishing and stamping ;0) Summer didn't mind. She just wanted to tuck in to her tasty treat.

Here is a closer shot of the gift tag. For this I added an extra bit of bling by using one of the lovely All is Calm Snowflake Embellishments. I cut the tag with my Scallop Tag Topper Punch.

Thanks for stopping by today. If you have any questions about today's project or the products I have used, please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. You can order online direct through my store by clicking the product links above or the pictures below. I also have availability in the next few months for your very own crafty party.
