Bohemian Designer Series Paper Envelope Swaps from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Monday lovelies. How was your weekend? Would you believe we were snowed on in Telford my Stampin' Up! weekend? We woke up Saturday morning to a settled layer of snow over everything. I definitely hadn't packed for snow. Luckily it all melted pretty quick and was replaced with lovely sunshine.

Today's crafty share is my choccie envelope swap I made for my teamies on Friday afternoon. My upline Michelle hosted a lovely crafty afternoon with a fab cream tea. We had games and a raffle (I was lucky enough to win a gorgeous SU handbag). We made a super lovely notecard set which I will share with you later in the week.

I created my teamie swap with the Bohemian Designer Series Paper cut in to 5" squares. I then created the smallest envelope (2" x 3") on the Envelope Punch Board. To create the pocket I simply didnt seal the top flap down.

I added the stamped heart and flower detail and wrapped my envelopes with Baker's Twine.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, or any of our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!).

A Circle of Spring Stamped Mini Muslin Bag from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. What a gloomy start to a Friday here on the Isle of Wight. I'm hoping it'll brighten up for a walk later. But in the meantime I am enjoying a peaceful morning snuggle with the girls watching Wall E (and simultaneously blogging too).

I have a project to share with you today that I made with my lovely Hostess Club ladies at our get together this month. For anyone belonging to one of my virtual clubs we get together every other month for a coffee and a crafty project. And for those that join from afar the project is mailed out with your order as a thank you for being a part of the monthly club. You can find out more by clicking the Virtual Clubs tab above.

This months project was a little different. We used the Mini Muslin Bags and stamped the beautiful Circle of Spring wreath.  We stamped the wreath using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. We then coloured with the Subtles Collection of Stampin' Write markers.

I used Pool Party, Blushing Bride, So Saffron and Wild Wasabi to colour my wreath. We then created a little tag using the Triple Banner Punch.  The greeting is from the Work of Art stamp set. We pegged the banner to the bag with a Mini Metallic Clothespin.

This is such a simple little gift bag and really fun to stamp and colour. This would be perfect for an end of term teacher gift or little gift packaging idea for jewellery or sweeties. I think the Mini Muslin Bags are a great addition to any crafters stash as they can be personalised for any occasion or event.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. Happy Friday! I have a fun crafty weekend ahead with my monthly card class tomorrow. We have a fun selection of projects using lots of lovely new catalogue stamp sets and products which I will share with you next week.

The first uses Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon, So Saffron and Island Indigo. I matched the stamped coloured blocks and alphabet stamping with the 'you' from the Work of Art stamp sets and finished with Subtles Candy Dots.

The second version is stamped with Calypso Coral, Delightful Dijon, Watermelon Wonder and Rose Red. I used Brights Candy Dots to finish.

Updates to the Clearance Rack and a quick Thank You Note from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. Exciting news to wake up to on a Wednesday morning. The Clearance Rack has been updated. It is well worth a visit as there are some fantastic reductions on lots of lovely stamps, embellishments and accessories.

Wednesday also brings a new set of Weekly Deals. A great variety of products this week. My favourite being the Magnetic Plate for the Big Shot. Perfect for keeping Framelits in place for the bargain reduction price of £26.96. There are also punches, buttons, stamps and papers.

And here is a quick crafty share for a Wednesday. These are my customer thank you notes I made for a recent workshop's orders. I always like to include a handstamped thank you note and I have been favouring the Work of Art stamp set recently.

I created these little notelets with three tones of blue: Soft Sky, Pool Party and Coastal Cabana.

I used a sentiment from the Another Thank You stamp set for the 'thanks'.

Petite Cafe Gift Bag Hostess Gift for March from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a very Happy Easter Monday to you all.

I hope your day is as sunny and bright as it is here on the Isle of Wight. Has your long weekend been fun? Ours has been jam packed with family, food, Easter Egg Hunts and chocolate (but not much crafting!).

I have a project to share with you today that I created with the gorgeous Stampin' Up! Petite Cafe Gift Bags and the Work of Art stamp set.

I had bought a whole series of Artisan Embellishment Kits for my virtual Hostess club ladies to go with their March orders. I needed to create something lovely to put the gift in. This is what I came up with.

I used the 2014-2015 In Colors as my inspiration. The stamping on the tag (punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch) is done with Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss. I then added Rich Razzleberry Ribbon and an In Color Clothespin to finish.

I love the Work of Art stamp set. It has so much potential and so many different uses. It works really well with the stamping off technique which I used above. To get the layers of colour I initially stamped the paintbrush effect stamps off on a scrap piece of paper. I then stamped over in fully inked chevrons and sentiment. This gives different tones from one ink pad.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop (or click on the links below to find out more about specific products) or get in touch directly and I  can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door.

A Work of Art Hostess Thank You Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. What a wet and grey start to Good Friday. I'm hoping the weather improves a bit here on the Isle of Wight as we have an Easter Egg Activity Hunt to get to at 11am at the RSPCA. The girls have their Easter Bonnets all ready and everything ;0)

I have a thank you card creation to share today. I made this for a lovely friend who recently hosted a Stampin' Up! party at her home. This is inspired by a card I saw over at Pootles blog. I love the ombre effect of inking the stamp once and then stamping three times so you get the gradually lightening tones.

The colour I picked for this card is one of my favourites, Coastal Cabana. I stamped the swish from Work of Art three times and then added the fancy 'Thank You' from Another Thank You.

I added the little Silver Glimmer Paper shapes punched with the Itty Bitty Accents punches for an extra bit of bling (no card is complete without sparkle).

I'd like to wish you a very Happy Easter weekend. I hope you get lots of crafty time as well as fun doing whatever you have planned.

Another Thank You meets Work of Art from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a Happy New Crafty Week to you!

How was your weekend? It was so cold here on the Isle of Wight. A lot of my plans with the girls were scuppered by the cold so instead we just stayed in the warm and did a bit of crafting instead. I got my new wood burning tool out of the box (a Christmas pressie) and had a practice at burning some scraps of wood. It wasn't perfect but very enjoyable.

So today's quick crafty make is a Thank You card I made for one of my party hostesses this month. Jan absolutely loves all things purple. So I designed her thank you note with that in mind.

The colour scheme is Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant. I combined the Another Thank You stamp set with the paint splash from Work of Art. The butterfly embellishments are from the fantastically versatile Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set. And it was all finished with 3 of the largest Basic Jewels.

Thank you for popping by today. You can find out more about the new Spring Summer Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration promotion by clicking here or by using the navigation menu on the left. This really is the most exciting time of the year to shop. New products and fantastic freebie rewards too.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop (or click on the links above to find out more about specific products) or get in touch directly and I  can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door.

Watercolor Wonder meets Petite Petals Hostess Gift

Happy Friday! I hope you have a lovely weekend planned. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some lovely weather so the girls and I can get out and about. We've been enjoying long walks and feeding the ducks this week. But should the weather take a turn as predicted I have lots of crafty projects on the go at home planning for my Christmas Craft Days next month.

Today's crafty make is another gift set for one of my recent party hostesses. I always like to give a handmade crafty gift to my hostesses to say thank you on top of the lovely product freebies they receive from Stampin' Up! I created another of these super simple handbags that we were shown at our Telford Regional. I shared a similar one here. This is made from one sheet of standard UK A4 card (in this case I used Strawberry Slush with Blushing Bride and Rich Razzleberry accents).

Here is the picture on our instruction sheet from the Stampin' Up! event. This was designed by Julie Kettlewell and shows exactly how you need to divide up your base sheet of cardstock.

Once you have cut and scored your A4 sheet you then just layer your cardstock for the decorative outside panels. I used the Petite Petals stamp set to stamp a layer of Whisper White and mounted on to Rich Razzleberry.

For this card I used the new Work of Art stamp set. This is such a versatile set with brush stroke stamps, mixed sentiments and the chevron design used above too. For this card I used my Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies to create the window. On the base Whisper White layer I stamped the Chevrons in Rose Red, Melon Mambo and Blushing Bride to create the layered pink look. I then used my Blushing Bride and Rose Red markers to doodle an edging to my window.

I finished by stamping the sentiment and highlighting with 3 shades of pink Candy Dots.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you all have a lovely crafty weekend. I would love to hear what you are up to or see your crafty projects. Please pop over to my Facebook page and share your weekends crafty plans:

A focus on the new Stampin' Up! In Colors

I demonstrated for some lovely friends last week in celebration of the launch of the new catalogue. As I am still awaiting my big parcel of goodies from the new catalogue I had to design a project with the sneak peek products I had received during our Demonstrator preorder period. I decided what better way to launch the new catalogue than with a card which focuses on our beautiful new In Colors.

The new In Colors are:
  • Blackberry Bliss
  • Hello Honey
  • Lost Lagoon
  • Mossy Meadow
  • Tangelo Twist
I love the dusty tones of these colours and how beautifully they work together. I already envisioning beautiful festive cards made with Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon. If you click on the In Color peg picture above it will connect you through to the full range of new In Color products available online or by ordering direct with me.

The card we stamped together at Pat's party used the paint stroke swish stamp from the beautiful Work of Art stamp set. We stamped it in 4 of the In Color inks and then stamped the gorgeous swirly sentiment from the exclusive Hostess stamp set 'Hello There' in Blackberry Bliss ink. We then finished with flowers punched from the In Color cardstock pack using the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack.

The In Colors are such a fantastic way to get started with Stampin' Up! And there is a special bundle of products priced at £27.95 for all 5 ink pads and a pack of In Color cardstock to match (Click here to find out more). There are also beautifully coordinated clothespins and Stitched Satin Ribbon in all 5 colours to help you coordinate your projects.

If you'd like to read through a PDF of the catalogue, click on the photo below. Alternatively I'd love to help you earn free product by Demonstrating for you and your friends and family (and popping a free catalogue in the post to you to get you started). If you are not local to me I'd love to help you collect orders and host a virtual party, just drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk  to find out more.

Cardmaking and crafting classes on the Isle of Wight- Stampin' Up!'s Wetlands Meets Work of Art

Good morning and how are you doing this fine July 3rd morning? Are you enjoying the new Stampin' Up! year so far? What is your new favourite must-have from the new catalogue?

I am still eagerly awaiting my order of new products from the 2014-2015 Catalogue (the first of many over the next 12 months I am sure!). But being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, we were given the opportunity to preorder a certain selection of stamps and accessories before July 1st. I preordered the Work of Art stamp set and set about looking up ideas on Pinterest. I found this incredible card and wanted to give it a go using the fabulous new In Color Lost Lagoon.

I absolutely love the brush strokes of the Work of Art stamp. This brush stamp can be used for so many different cards and I have seen it used beautifully to create a rainbow. I stamped it here first in Crumb Cake. I then cleaned and inked again with Lost Lagoon. I stamped off once on to a piece of scrap paper and then stamped three times on to my Whisper White layer giving this gradually faded effect of the same colour to represent the sea and sky.

I love how this card combines the brand new Work of Art and Lost Lagoon with my old favourite, Wetlands. I stamped the birds from Wetlands in Basic Black to look as if they were skipping through the shallow waters against the sands.

I finished with the grasses stamped in Crumb Cake and the sentiment taken from Wetlands stamped in Lost Lagoon. I then added three Neutrals Candy Dots to reflect the beach colour scheme.

Thank you for popping by today and I hope you are enjoying flicking through your new copy of the Stampin' Up! Catalogue. If you'd like to have a look online please click here. Or alternatively pop over to my online store to order your products direct.

Let me know if you have any questions and pop back tomorrow for a little more new catalogue craftiness.
