A Pedal Pusher Thank You Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Hello crafters and a very Happy Wednesday to you.

Stampin' Up! have launched three exclusive Sale-A-Bration items for the last 6 weeks of the promotion including some gorgeous glitter washi tape. You can choose any one of the three new items with a purchase of £45+ from now through to the end of March. I have used the new Pedal Pusher Sale-A-Bration stamp set for today's crafty creation.

I am demonstrating for some lovely ladies tonight at a Sale-A-Bration crafty party. I wanted to make a thank you note for my hostess and this is what I came up with. I used one of our Whisper White Notecards as a base. I combined the freebie Pedal Pusher bike image with the flowers from the Cottage Greetings stamp set. My colour combo is Crushed Curry, Rose Red and Mint Macaron.

I coloured my bike with a Blender Pen and ink from the lid of my ink pads.

I added a strip of DSP from the gorgeous Love Blossoms DSP Stack (a bargain at £7.25 for 48 sheets). I stamped the sentiment and mounted over two strips of the super sparkly Sale-A-Bration Glitter Washi.

To finish my card I added tiny Basic Pearls to my flowers for added dimension and sparkle.

Here are all the new Sale-A-Bration items together:

More fun with Layered Letters from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Wednesday. How has your week been so far? I've got the week off work so have been enjoying family fun. Yesterday we went to a new farm that has opened locally with a fantastic playbarn with a huge bounce pillow. It was exhausting. But I slept well after all that trampolining and chasing Summer about.

I've been having fun creating with the Layered Letters stamp set. I created these for a recent crafty party for the ladies to have a go at. I gave them the examples and left them to create their own greetings.

I chose  the ink pad colours to match the Cherry On Top Designer Washi Tape: Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon and Watermelon Wonder.

I used the Whisper White notecards with matching envelopes for my card base. Once I had decided on my word/greeting I then stamped and matched with matching sentiments from the Endless Birthday wishes stamp set.

Today's new Weekly Deals are live so hop on over to see what lovelies you can pick up for bargain prices. I especially love the gold ribbon which is perfect for the upcoming festive season.

A Work of Art Hostess Thank You Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. What a wet and grey start to Good Friday. I'm hoping the weather improves a bit here on the Isle of Wight as we have an Easter Egg Activity Hunt to get to at 11am at the RSPCA. The girls have their Easter Bonnets all ready and everything ;0)

I have a thank you card creation to share today. I made this for a lovely friend who recently hosted a Stampin' Up! party at her home. This is inspired by a card I saw over at Pootles blog. I love the ombre effect of inking the stamp once and then stamping three times so you get the gradually lightening tones.

The colour I picked for this card is one of my favourites, Coastal Cabana. I stamped the swish from Work of Art three times and then added the fancy 'Thank You' from Another Thank You.

I added the little Silver Glimmer Paper shapes punched with the Itty Bitty Accents punches for an extra bit of bling (no card is complete without sparkle).

I'd like to wish you a very Happy Easter weekend. I hope you get lots of crafty time as well as fun doing whatever you have planned.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop (or click on the links below to find out more about specific products) or get in touch directly and I  can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door.

A quick Stampin' Up! Under the Tree Shaker Card

Good morning and welcome to another festive crafty Wednesday here at Stampin' Sarah! Autumn may have officially started yesterday but it is still beautifully sun shiney bright here on the Isle of Wight. Today's adventure is about to take me and the girls on a mooch around Osborne House. The House has stunning gardens and there are lots of red squirrels to spot too. Summer loves being set free to run around.

Today's crafty make is a quick shaker card inspired by this make on Pinterest. I love the simplicity of the layering of the gorgeous (and thick!) Under the Tree Speciality Designer Papers. I used the Circle Collection Framelits to cut my two circles and punched the tree using the Tree Punch. I also cut a circle from a Window Sheet to layer behind the tree circle to stop my sequins escaping.

At my class we used the edges of a sheet of Dimensionals to create the shaker frame around the tree shape (the edge long sections on the Dimensionals sheets are perfect for creating shakers or for stabilising larger layers on a card).

For the shaker elements I used some our fantastically sparkly Frosted Sequins (although not too many as I had to take my shaker apart to remove some originally as I'd packed it too much and they wouldn't move).

I stamped the Merry Christmas from the exclusive Hostess Set (available free with a party order over £200- check out the 'Promotions' tab above for more info) Good Greetings using my Encore Gold ink pad.  I hand cut the banner to fit around my sentiment. I then finished with two stars punched from Gold Glimmer Paper and two Candy Dots.

Today sees the launch of another week of fab deals over on the Stampin' Up! website. This weeks deals feature Framelits & Paper Piercing Packs. What a bargain! These can be ordered online or get in touch direct and I'll place an order for you. Click on the picture below to find out more.

Thank you for popping by today. If you have any questions about today's project or the products I have used, please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. You can order online direct through my store by clicking the product links above or the pictures below. I also have availability in the next few months for your very own crafty party. Click on the Promotions tab above to see the exclusive hostess promotion running until October 31st.

Crafty Party Thank You Gift: Stampin' Up! Gift Box Punch Board Make

Happy Wednesday Crafters.

How is your week going so far? It is a downward slide to the weekend now. Which can only mean more time for craftiness ;0)

As I mentioned on Monday, I have gone a bit Gift Box crazy. I recently purchased the fantabulous Stampin' Up! Gift Box Punch Board. I needed to make a thank you gift for a recent party hostess and thought this would be a perfect demonstration and gift all in one.

If you have already purchased the Envelope Punch Board then you will know just how simple these boards are to use. All the measurements and instructions are listed right on the Board and you just decide which size box you'd like to make, cut your paper/card to size and follow the instructions (all measurements are also listed on the board for your reference too).

The box above was the largest listed on the Board, It is made from a 12"x12" piece of cardstock (the Gift Box Board usefully has a score extending arm to make 12"x12" easier to score!). The finished box is 4" square. And the best thing about these boxes is that they are held together with little tabs punched by the board. There is no glue used to hold my large 4" box together (the ribbon is simply for decoration too!).

I created the box using the gorgeous new Under the Tree Speciality Designer Series Paper. I love these thick cardstock- weight Kraft sheets. Perfect for box making. It is Kraft/Gold Tone on one side with  Whisper White printed patterns and the other side of each 12"x12" is a Christmas themed design in Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green or Early Espresso.

I wrapped my box with Gold Satin Ribbon and a length of Cherry Cobbler ribbon (sadly now retired by the beautiful Cherry Cobbler 1" Sheer Linen Ribbon would be perfect too). I love the effect of tying two bows on top of one another.

I created the tag using the Seasonally Scattered stamp set. I heat embossed the 'Thanks' stamp with Gold Embossing Powder on to Cherry Cobbler card stock and then cut with my Magnetic Platform and my Apothecary Accents Framelits. I punched a small hole in to the tag and attached with a third tiny bow using Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon.

And while I was in a Gift Box making mood I made a mini gift box as the Door Prize for my recent party. This example is the smallest box on the Gift Box Punch Board- 1-3/4" square made from a 5" x 5" square of DSP.

I wrapped this box with a length of Blackberry Bliss Satin Stitched Ribbon and tied with a Autumn Wooden Element Leaf tied with Baker's Twine.

Don't forget to check out this week's new Weekly Deals by clicking on the picture below.

Thank you for popping by today and for sharing in my Gift Box creativity excitement. If you have any questions about today's project or the products I have used, please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. You can order online direct through my store by clicking the product links above or the pictures below. A little bit of card class creating

Evening all and welcome to a new crafty week.

I am not sure what happened to my Thursday post last week. It didn't seem to publish. So that'll have to be a project for another day ;0)

To make up for the blogging gap recently I have a couple of projects to share with you today.

The card above is one of the projects from this month's card class. When I got my hands on the new catalogue I instantly fell in love with the Hostess Stamp Set, Simply Sketched. I had seen this card by Brian King on Pinterest and knew I wanted to have a go at it. I love the stamping on Very Vanilla and cutting the main flower image out to make it stand out from the newsprint. The colour scheme is Early Espresso, Blushing Bride and Strawberry Slush. I coloured the images using my ink pads and a Blender Pen.

Simply Sketched is a stamp set exclusive to Hostess orders. If you'd like to get your hands on it you can book a crafty party and earn yourself lots of lovely crafty freebies (including any of the exclusive hostess stamp sets) as well as have a fun evening with friends. To find out more please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249.

The second project is another of our card class makes using the fab Tag A Bag gift boxes and accessories. I love these ready made gift boxes and all the matching loveliness of the accessories pack.

We stamped the gift tag with stamps from the Chalk Talk stamp set. We then stamped the tissue paper insert in matching colours using Mosaic Madness. The colours we used are Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay.

Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you enjoyed our crafty projects.

Please let me know if there is anything Stampin' Up! related I can help you with. I am more than happy to chat about craftiness and especially Stampin' Up! and the products.

Happy Crafting ;0)
