A Sale-A-Bration Pedal Pusher Thank You from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. I have a special card to share with you today. A lovely Australian demonstrator, Kylie Bertucci, is running an International Blog Highlight which is going live on Friday. She is uniting Demonstrators from all across the globe under the theme of 'thanks'. You can vote for your favourite cards in the Highlight and the top 5 will be given a spot on an International Blog Hop (please pop over to Kylie's blog on Friday evening to see all the fantastic 'thank you' projects and vote for your favourites).

I wanted to create a super special thank you card for a friend at work. As my regular blog readers will know I live on the Isle of Wight (a small island off the south coast of the UK) and work for an animal rescue centre. I wanted to create a special note of thanks for all our Centre staff and volunteers to brighten our staff room as we have had a particularly challenging start to 2016 and I wanted to recognise the efforts of all our care and administrative staff. This is the card I came up with.

I used the same layout as my earlier acetate window card but this time I combined the new Pedal Pusher Sale-A-Bration stamp set with one of my all time favourites, Sheltering Tree. I love the peek a boo effect of stamping inside the card to give depth and added detail.

I added a strip of Love Blossoms DSP with a greeting stamped using the Endless Thanks stamp set. I felt like the card needed a little extra something so I stamped and punched my bunch of Blushing Bride and Rose Red balloons.  I stamped the balloon string with Stazon black ink and then positioned my balloons over the top (adding dimensionals under a couple of the balloons). I also used my Clear Wink of Stella glitter brush to add a little highlight to the edges of my balloons. You can just about see it in the photo below.

And the feature of my card is the tandem bicycle from the exclusive Pedal Pusher stamp set. This is such a simple stamp set to line up as it is photopolymer so adding the details like the bread basket and little birds is easy as you can see right through your acrylic block. I coloured with my Stampin' Write markers and fussy cut to add to my card.

Thank you for popping by today.  Don't forget to pop by the International Blog Highlight over on Kylie's blog on Friday to check out all the other creations and vote for your favourites. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, Sale-A-Bration or any of our new products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!).

A Pedal Pusher Thank You Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Hello crafters and a very Happy Wednesday to you.

Stampin' Up! have launched three exclusive Sale-A-Bration items for the last 6 weeks of the promotion including some gorgeous glitter washi tape. You can choose any one of the three new items with a purchase of £45+ from now through to the end of March. I have used the new Pedal Pusher Sale-A-Bration stamp set for today's crafty creation.

I am demonstrating for some lovely ladies tonight at a Sale-A-Bration crafty party. I wanted to make a thank you note for my hostess and this is what I came up with. I used one of our Whisper White Notecards as a base. I combined the freebie Pedal Pusher bike image with the flowers from the Cottage Greetings stamp set. My colour combo is Crushed Curry, Rose Red and Mint Macaron.

I coloured my bike with a Blender Pen and ink from the lid of my ink pads.

I added a strip of DSP from the gorgeous Love Blossoms DSP Stack (a bargain at £7.25 for 48 sheets). I stamped the sentiment and mounted over two strips of the super sparkly Sale-A-Bration Glitter Washi.

To finish my card I added tiny Basic Pearls to my flowers for added dimension and sparkle.

Here are all the new Sale-A-Bration items together:
