Updates to the Clearance Rack and a quick Thank You Note from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. Exciting news to wake up to on a Wednesday morning. The Clearance Rack has been updated. It is well worth a visit as there are some fantastic reductions on lots of lovely stamps, embellishments and accessories.

Wednesday also brings a new set of Weekly Deals. A great variety of products this week. My favourite being the Magnetic Plate for the Big Shot. Perfect for keeping Framelits in place for the bargain reduction price of £26.96. There are also punches, buttons, stamps and papers.

And here is a quick crafty share for a Wednesday. These are my customer thank you notes I made for a recent workshop's orders. I always like to include a handstamped thank you note and I have been favouring the Work of Art stamp set recently.

I created these little notelets with three tones of blue: Soft Sky, Pool Party and Coastal Cabana. 

I used a sentiment from the Another Thank You stamp set for the 'thanks'.

A Work of Art Hostess Thank You Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. What a wet and grey start to Good Friday. I'm hoping the weather improves a bit here on the Isle of Wight as we have an Easter Egg Activity Hunt to get to at 11am at the RSPCA. The girls have their Easter Bonnets all ready and everything ;0)

I have a thank you card creation to share today. I made this for a lovely friend who recently hosted a Stampin' Up! party at her home. This is inspired by a card I saw over at Pootles blog. I love the ombre effect of inking the stamp once and then stamping three times so you get the gradually lightening tones.

The colour I picked for this card is one of my favourites, Coastal Cabana. I stamped the swish from Work of Art three times and then added the fancy 'Thank You' from Another Thank You.

I added the little Silver Glimmer Paper shapes punched with the Itty Bitty Accents punches for an extra bit of bling (no card is complete without sparkle).

Another Thank You meets Work of Art from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a Happy New Crafty Week to you!

How was your weekend? It was so cold here on the Isle of Wight. A lot of my plans with the girls were scuppered by the cold so instead we just stayed in the warm and did a bit of crafting instead. I got my new wood burning tool out of the box (a Christmas pressie) and had a practice at burning some scraps of wood. It wasn't perfect but very enjoyable.

So today's quick crafty make is a Thank You card I made for one of my party hostesses this month. Jan absolutely loves all things purple. So I designed her thank you note with that in mind.

The colour scheme is Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant. I combined the Another Thank You stamp set with the paint splash from Work of Art. The butterfly embellishments are from the fantastically versatile Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set. And it was all finished with 3 of the largest Basic Jewels.

A Wondrous Wreath Thank You from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning a very Happy December 5th to you.

I recently made a large batch of these thank you cards for my November customers as a big thank you for their Christmas crafting custom.

I love the versatility of the Wondrous Wreath stamp set. It doesn't just have to be your traditional red and green Christmas wreath. I stamped this in Soft Sky, Island Indigo and Encore Silver ink and then embellished with Basic Rhinestones.

The 'Thanks' stamp is from the Another Thank You Photopolymer stamp set (stamped here in Island Indigo).

I hope you have a lovely festive weekend planned wherever you are. I am hoping to be catching up on my December Journal to share my pages with you next week. Endless Wishes Hostess Thank You Gift Set from Stampin' Up! UK Independent Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters and welcome to a new crafty week here at Stampin' Sarah HQ. My week has been thrown all out of whack by my other half having yesterday off work. It felt like a Sunday and subsequently my blogging schedule for the week has been thrown off course. But I have lots of lovely makes to share with you so be sure to check back to catch up with what I have been making.

I caught up with some lovely friends on Saturday for a Stampin' Up! crafty party. We had a good natter, cookies and crafting too. It was a lovely afternoon. Today's crafty share is the gift set I made for my hostess for the afternoon.

I made this gift set using the Endless Wishes stamp set and I created a card, gift bag and tag. 

For the card I used the block inking technique. I simply pressed my acrylic block in to my Pool Party and Soft Sky ink pads and then created a background by pressing the ink to my Whisper White card base. I then stamped the snowflakes in Island Indigo and Encore Silver. I embellished with Basic Jewels (some of which I coloured with my darkest Night of Navy Blendabilities pen).

The sentiment is taken from the Another Thank You photopolymer stamp set.

Here is the complete gift set complete with a stamped paper bag in matching Island Indigo and Bermuda Bay. I took Summer to a local bakery just around the corner on Saturday morning and I am teaching her to ask and pay for her own treats. She proudly produced her £1 from her pocket and we asked the lady for a sausage roll which was presented to her in this brown paper bag. I instantly realised it would be perfect for my hostess gift. So I quickly nabbed it for embellishing and stamping ;0) Summer didn't mind. She just wanted to tuck in to her tasty treat.

Here is a closer shot of the gift tag. For this I added an extra bit of bling by using one of the lovely All is Calm Snowflake Embellishments. I cut the tag with my Scallop Tag Topper Punch.

Happy Friday crafty friends.

What have you got planned for the weekend? Anything crafty? I have lots on my crafting agenda. But quite how much I'll get through remains to be seen. But hopefully I'll have lots of sneak peeks of projects to share with you over on my Facebook page over the weekend.

Today's crafty make is a clean and simple Thank You card I made for my recent party customers. It was inspired by this card I'd seen on Pinterest. I loved the simplicity of the embossing on Basic Black card. And by using the three tones of embossing powder I was able to achieve this ombre effect. For this effect I used Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride and  White.

The Another Thank You stamp set features 6 different thank you sentiments as well as little heart embellishment details. It is such a lovely stamp set for creating thank you notes. The sentiment I used for this card is my absolute favourite. I love the size of the thank you. It is a real focal feature on any card.

As well as this colour combination I tried a whole pile of different combinations including silver and gold which were equally as effective against the black background. You are only limited by the number of embossing powder colours you own. You simply apply your powder one colour at a time to the Versamarked image.
