An Among the Branches Christmas Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Weekly Deals Wednesday. New discounted products over on my web shop. I love the Into the Woods Elements and Ornate Tag Topper Punch. And I love discounts even more. Stampin' Up! have also updated the Clearance Rack with fantastic new bargains. Pop over to check out all the last chance items which are only available while stocks last.

Today I have another of our card class makes to share with you inspired by this creation I saw over on Stasia's blog. We used a Whisper White card base layered with Cherry Cobbler and a strip of Merry Moments Designer Series Paper.

I heat embossed the branch and details from the Among the Branches. I have found the key to a clean embossed card is to remember to brush your card base with the Embossing Buddy. Such a clever invention that stops all the loose bits of powder from sticking to your card and creating spots when you heat.

I added Metallics Sequins and the tiny Basic Pearls to create snow and sparkle.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

New items have been added to the Clearance Rack today too. Some great punches, kits, embellishments and stamp sets to be found at prices up to 60% off their original catalogue price.

And before I leave you to explore all the lovely product offerings this morning, I wanted to share a quick Father's Day card I made for my girls to give Sam. I forgot to share this last week. I used the gorgeous Neutrals Designer Series Paper Pack as a background which I distressed and daubered with Soft Suede. I added the Happy using the Simply Serif mini alphabet which I punched and layered on to Island Indigo stars (punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack). I stamped the 'Daddy' using the Layered Letters alphabet (stamped with Memento Black ink). The last detail I added were the shades of blue Candy Dots.

Updates to the Clearance Rack and a quick Thank You Note from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. Exciting news to wake up to on a Wednesday morning. The Clearance Rack has been updated. It is well worth a visit as there are some fantastic reductions on lots of lovely stamps, embellishments and accessories.

Wednesday also brings a new set of Weekly Deals. A great variety of products this week. My favourite being the Magnetic Plate for the Big Shot. Perfect for keeping Framelits in place for the bargain reduction price of £26.96. There are also punches, buttons, stamps and papers.

And here is a quick crafty share for a Wednesday. These are my customer thank you notes I made for a recent workshop's orders. I always like to include a handstamped thank you note and I have been favouring the Work of Art stamp set recently.

I created these little notelets with three tones of blue: Soft Sky, Pool Party and Coastal Cabana.

I used a sentiment from the Another Thank You stamp set for the 'thanks'.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop (or click on the links below to find out more about specific products) or get in touch directly and I  can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door.

A quick Candy Cane December Wonder Tag Swap from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning from a sunny and crisp Isle of Wight. How was your crafty weekend?

We've returned from a lovely festive weekend away enjoying the Christmas festivities (such as the gorgeous Winchester Christmas Market) and meeting with old and new friends. And of course, the Sale-A-Bration sneak peek event on Thursday. I had a fab time chatting to fellow Demonstrators and looking at the inspiring projects on display. And I was lucky enough to win a prize patrol (a lovely Sale-A-Bration stamp set which you can exclusively add to your orders for free in January, February and March). Add to that the excitement of the Demonstrator pre-order sneak peek of the new Spring Summer catalogue and you have a perfectly crafty and super exciting Stampin' Up! weekend.

Today I wanted to share with you the swaps I made to share with my fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. Swapping is one of the best parts of Stampin' Up! events. I love the inspiration that can be gained from swapping as you see products used in new and exciting ways. I wanted to create something fun and festive so came up with these candy cane tags.

I used my Scallop Tag Topper Punch to create the basic tag (2" wide x length of your candy cane) from Crumb Cake cardstock. I then cut two slots (2cm between the two slits) to slip the Candy Cane through. To embellish I stamped the 'Hello December' from the December Wonder stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink. I stamped the tree from the same set and doodled stitching with my Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write marker around the edge.

To finish I tied the Candy Cane to the tag with 1/8" Real Red Taffeta Ribbon. Oh and I added a Champagne Glimmer Paper star to the top of the tree (any sparkly star embellishment or coloured glitter glue would look fab).

And now to share a few of my favourite swaps I received in return (apologies to my fellow Demonstrators as I don't have the swaps with me as I type so cannot give credit. Credit to follow).

I loved this neat little Merry Christmas wall hanging. Complete with curled wire to hang it up with:

I love the colours of this Wondrous Wreath swap:

And I was a bit conflicted by the Visions of Santa stamp set when I first saw it and it is not one I own. But I absolutely loved receiving this swap using the set.

Thanks for stopping by today and for sharing in my December crafty festivities.

Be sure not to miss the Year End Closeout bargains on the Clearance Rack. Some fantastic bargains to be had. But stock only available while supplies last so get your order in quick so as not to miss out! Click the image below to link straight through to the products available at great prices.

If you have any questions about today's project or the products I have used, please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. You can order online direct through my store by clicking the product links above or the pictures below. Stampin' Up! UK Clearance Rack Updates

Evening crafty friends.

Well this is a lot later than planned again! I seem to be on an impossible blogging schedule at the moment.

Well lets start with the exciting news first. Stampin' Up! have updated the Clearance Rack for the Blitz event. Lots of fantastic new additions with up to 80% off the catalogue price. What a bargain. If you click on the Clearance Rack image above it'll link you straight through to my Online Store where you can see all the fantastic savings.

Now on to some craftiness.

I hosted my last team shoebox swap of the year last week. We had a fun evening packed with snacks and chat and just a bit of craftiness too.

I thought I would share one of our festive crafty makes with you today. Charlotte designed this lovely layered festive card. I photographed it against my December Journal as I used it as a journaling card in my album. I thought the colour scheme fitted perfectly with my album so far ;0)

This card uses the Season of Style Paper Stack paired with the Season of Style Washi Tape and the stamping is from the Occasions Alphabet stamp set.

Please get in touch if you have any questions or queries about Stampin' Up! or My Digital Studio, I'd be only too happy to help: poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249.

Happy Festive Crafting ;0)
