The Stampin' Up! 2015 Retiring List is Live

Good morning crafters.

Today is the day, the Stampin' Up! 2015 retiring lists are live. Until June 2nd all these products are available on a 'while stocks last' basis. There are some great reductions to be found on these lists. And if a favourite stamp set of yours is on there that you haven't yet purchased this is the perfect time to place your order. Click on the images below to see the lists of retiring stamps and retiring accessories.

With a new catalogue just around the corner this is a perfect time to pick up a bargain and say goodbye to some old favourites. There are lots of stamps and accessories on these lists that I love and will be sad to see leave. But then I am super excited to see what the new catalogue has in store too.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

By the Tide Origami Shirt Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a very Happy Bank Holiday Monday to you. I hope it is sunny wherever you are. It looks to be a lovely day outside here on the Isle of Wight.

We have had a busy weekend full of Birthday celebrations. Friday was my Dad's Birthday and we celebrated with a fun evening of family and chocolate & coffee cake (it was delightful!).

I wanted to share with you the origami shirt card I made for him. My Dad loves shirts with fish all over them so I decided to have a go at recreating one of his shirts using the By The Tide stamp set.

I used this Youtube video to make my base shirt shape (using Pistachio Pudding cardstock). I changed the measurements slightly by using a whole sheet of UK sized A4. I simply followed the same steps as shown in the video. Once I had the folds sorted I then stamped the By The Tide fish in Garden Green.

I hand cut the little pocket and daubered the edges to define the shape (I also added a bit of stitching detail by using my paper piercing tool to make little holes around the edge of the pocket). I finished with Neutrals Buttons (I had to use one extra to cover a slight stamping blip!).

The inside of the folded card looks like this. I used the Age Awareness birthday sentiment to stamp the inside.

To go with this card I created this stack of gift boxes using my Gift Box Punch Board. I created a large, medium and small box from Kraft cardstock which I then covered with Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper. Each box was filled with one of my Dads favourite treats. I tied the whole stack together with a length of ribbon from my stash.

And my Dad's main gift was this wood burnt chopping board. This was my first attempt at using my pyrography tool and I learned a lot about the type of wood that would work best for this kind of intricate design (this wood was very hard and the grain made it very difficult to get a smooth line). But I was still really pleased with it all the same ;0)

So a big thank you for popping by today. I hope you have had a fantastic bank holiday weekend.

A Flower Patch Thinking of You Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Wednesday!

I hope you+ are having a great week so far. I've been busy with cardmaking and pressie making for a few family birthdays coming up on the next week or so. Lots to share over the next week. But I won't post until I've shared my projects with their recipients.

Today I have a card class project to share. This was inspired by this card I saw over on Leonie's Blog. I love the simplicity of the framed stamping.

I created the frame using my Square Framelits Dies. I then marked the corners of the square on to my Whisper White layer so I would know roughly where to position my flowers and stems.

I used Rich Razzleberry, Wisteria Wonder, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz to stamp the flowers and stems from the Flower Patch stamp set.

The sentiment is from the Sheltering Tree stamp set. I stamped this in Rose Red and added Candy Dots and tiny Basic Pearls to finish.

Flower Pot Diaries for my Hostess Club from Stampin' Up! UK Independent Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning all and a very Happy Friday to you. What are your weekend plans? I had hoped to get lots of crafting done but I have a craft related injury involving a glue gun and both thumbs which is making all things crafty quite challenging. Hoping my burn blisters heal quickly as I have a few things to prep for next weekend's Gifts for Girls Christmas Fayre in Cowes (stop on by between 10.30am and 4.30pm on Saturday 15th November at Cowes Yacht Haven).

Today's share is last month's Hostess Club gift. I made covered diaries for my ladies last year and they went down a treat. So I had another go. I purchased the little diaries in Tesco and then used a pack of Flower Pot Designer Series Paper to create the covers. I was able to get two covers from a sheet of 12"x12" (with some excess spare for smaller projects).

For the '2015' I used my Skinny Mini Photopolymer Alphabet stamped in Night of Navy and then punched with my Curly Label Punch. The final embellished touch was a matching flower punched with my Itty Bitty Accents flower punch.

The final touch was this stamp inside. This isn't strictly Stampin' Up! as it is a stamp set I have had in my stash for quite a while. But the stamp is very true for all my Hostess Club ladies. If you would like to find out more about joining one of my Virtual Clubs and earning hostess freebies (as well as receiving a handmade gift from me each month) please drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or click on the Virtual Club tab above.

Hostess Club Thank You Gifts for September: Stampin' Up! For All Things Shopping Notepads

Good morning and welcome to a new crafty week.

How was your weekend? We celebrated Sylvie's Christening yesterday and had a lovely day with friends and family celebrating her special day. I will share pics of her in her lovely little gown once I get time to have a look through the stacks of pics taken.

Today's crafty share is my hostess club thank you gift for September. I was doing my usual weekly supermarket shop when I came across some plain shopping list notepads in the stationery aisle. I thought they would be perfect for giving a Stampin' Up! Autumnal makeover to. So I purchased a stack and covered them with the beautiful Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper

I just love the color scheme of these papers especially Blackberry Bliss and Cajun Craze together. I used Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze  with the For All Things stamp set to create the little layered labels. I cut the labels using my Chalk Talk Framelits and inked the edges with a dauber and Cajun Craze.

To finish I tied a length of Gold Baker's Twine to one of the gorgeous little Autumn Wooden Elements and glued with a dot to the stamped image.

I am really pleased with how these turned out and it would be so simple to change the decoration of make notecards for any season or occasion.

Thank you for joining me today. I have lots more lovely projects to share this week. I have been going a little box crazy with my new Gift Box Punch Board. So pop back on Wednesday to find out more.

If you have any questions about today's project or the products I have used, please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. You can order online direct through my store by clicking the product links above or the pictures below. Sweet Stuff Ballerina Shaker Cards using Stampin' Up! Supplies

I have decided to do something a little different this week. I am going to feature several projects all made with the same stamp set. When I first got my hands on a copy of the new Annual 2014-2015 catalogue my eyes and heart were drawn to the Sweet Stuff stamp set. I just loved the swirly sentiments and cute little images. I knew this would be perfect for crafting for my girls and for adding embellishment to scrapbook pages too.

Despite falling in love with the set and purchasing it in my first order it has remained uninked on my stamping shelves while I prepped lots of fun Christmas projects for my August crafty days. Then I came across this beautiful card on Pinterest and decided to give this lovely little set my attention.

I loved the little shaker frame which match the In Color Sequins perfectly. So I gave the card my own Stampin' Sarah spin changing some of the details of the card but using the same colour scheme and shaker theme.

For this card I used Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana cardstock. I embossed the main Coastal Cabana panel with the Lovely Lace Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I created the centre panel with paper from the Lullaby Designer Series Papers and edged with Crisp Cantaloupe punched with the Scallop Edge Border Punch.

To create the shaker part of the card I used a sandwich of the stamped Whisper White circle with a Shaker Frame and then a 2-3/8" Scalloped Circle on top (the centre was punched with my 1 3/4" Circle Punch and a circle of Window Sheet glued to the back of the scallop circle).  The shaker was filled with In Color Sequins and then embellished with tiny Basic Pearls.

I created a second version of the card using a different colour-way and a smaller shaker frame.

This is Pistachio Pudding and Calypso Coral with papers from the Gold Soiree Speciality Designer Series Papers.

Thank you for stopping by today. I have a lovely sparkly 3D project made with the Sweet Stuff stamp set to share with you tomorrow (and there may even be a little sneak peek of a new upcoming product thrown in there too!). So please pop back tomorrow for some more Sweet Stuff inspiration.

Please let me know if you have any questions about these projects. You can get in touch via email: poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. I'm more than happy to help. A Celebration of Retiring Products

Good morning and welcome to a new crafty week!

Today I wanted to remind you of some of my favourite cards from the last year made with products on the Stampin' Up! Retiring List. Click here or on the picture below to see the list itself.

I always get sad at this time of year saying goodbye to favourite stamp sets and accessories. But we all know what the Retiring List brings..... a new catalogue just around the corner! I am sure my sadness will be short lived once all my lovely new goodies arrive ( and I have had a Sneak Peek at the new catalogue and it is full of lovely new stamps and accessories and of course, Project Life!)

If you would like a copy of the new catalogue and to celebrate the launch of all the new ranges from Stampin' Up! including Blendabilities and Project Life, my new catalogue Open House will be Saturday June 28th from 10.30am to 3pm. Pop by anytime for a crafty catch up and Make & Take (and of course a free copy of the catalogue to take away!)

So on with my Retiring List trip down memory lane.

This first card uses one of my absolute favourite stamps of recent times (from the current Spring Summer catalogue) Happy Watercolor. While this isn't officially on the Retiring List, it isn't carrying over in to the new Catalogue so is only available until June 30th.

Another fab Happy Watercolor creation design by one of my lovely team members, Hayley, for our team shoebox swap.

Here is one of my favourite hybrid projects using a bit of cross stitching combined with the fabulous Gingham Garden Designer Papers (reduced to the fab price of £5.97) and Washi Tapes (only £3.15) which are retiring at the end of the month.

I loved this little set made with the Fine Feathers stamp set.

Another Gingham Garden creation, this time with the washi tapes as the focus.

And lastly, this was my favourite little Christmas Pud table place setting gift from the Christmas Craft Extravaganza which uses the Lattice Bigz Die.

I really cannot stress enough how quickly items go out of stock from these lists. The easiest way to get your hands on them is to place an online order through my STOREI will also be placing orders regularly throughout the month so if you would like me to add any bits to my orders, just let me know, and then you can collect for free if you are local.
