Adventure Bound Mini Treat Bag Men's Shirt Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Here is another of our craft class makes for May. I wanted to give the Adventure Bound Paper Stack a last outing as I adored all of the prints in the set and they are perfect for creating quick and easy men's cards.

I have seen a lot of these Bow Tie/Men's Shirts cards around the blogosphere and wanted to give one a go. I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die to cut the base of the card folding back the flap to make the collar.

The inside card slips out of the shirt base. I used the Age Awareness stamp set and the Bravo stamp set to create the sentiment (stamped in Chocolate Chip).

I created the Bow Tie with the Bow Builder Punch.

By the Tide Origami Shirt Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a very Happy Bank Holiday Monday to you. I hope it is sunny wherever you are. It looks to be a lovely day outside here on the Isle of Wight.

We have had a busy weekend full of Birthday celebrations. Friday was my Dad's Birthday and we celebrated with a fun evening of family and chocolate & coffee cake (it was delightful!).

I wanted to share with you the origami shirt card I made for him. My Dad loves shirts with fish all over them so I decided to have a go at recreating one of his shirts using the By The Tide stamp set.

I used this Youtube video to make my base shirt shape (using Pistachio Pudding cardstock). I changed the measurements slightly by using a whole sheet of UK sized A4. I simply followed the same steps as shown in the video. Once I had the folds sorted I then stamped the By The Tide fish in Garden Green.

I hand cut the little pocket and daubered the edges to define the shape (I also added a bit of stitching detail by using my paper piercing tool to make little holes around the edge of the pocket). I finished with Neutrals Buttons (I had to use one extra to cover a slight stamping blip!).

The inside of the folded card looks like this. I used the Age Awareness birthday sentiment to stamp the inside.

To go with this card I created this stack of gift boxes using my Gift Box Punch Board. I created a large, medium and small box from Kraft cardstock which I then covered with Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper. Each box was filled with one of my Dads favourite treats. I tied the whole stack together with a length of ribbon from my stash.

And my Dad's main gift was this wood burnt chopping board. This was my first attempt at using my pyrography tool and I learned a lot about the type of wood that would work best for this kind of intricate design (this wood was very hard and the grain made it very difficult to get a smooth line). But I was still really pleased with it all the same ;0)

So a big thank you for popping by today. I hope you have had a fantastic bank holiday weekend. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. Hostess Club Adventure Awaits Notebooks from Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters.

Its nearly the weekend. Hope you have lots of craftiness planned. I am hoping for a big Project Life catch up. Going to spend some time this evening printing pictures ready for adding to my album.

My crafty share today is a project I made for my hostess club members to accompany their February orders. I absolutely adore the Adventure Bound Paper Stack and Adventure Awaits Stamp Set (also available together as a bundle) and wanted to put them together to make these pocket sized notebooks.

This one is my favourite of my creations. I find any stamp against this brick design looks like fancy graffiti. I just love the effect.

I also had some issues with a very juicy White Craft Pad which gave this large design a more watery effect than I had intended. But I felt it matched the wave papers in the background.

I accessorised each of the 10 notebooks I created with complimentary coloured Candy Dots.

An Adventure Bound Thank You Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. Welcome to my Wednesday make (you know what Wednesday means? New Weekly Deals over on my Online Store).

This is the last in my Adventure Bound series of cards. I just cannot praise this Paper Stack enough. I just love the photographic quality of each 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" piece of paper. I'd love to just frame them and put them on the wall.

I layered this gorgeous tree design over an Early Espresso card base. I then used some Early Espresso off cuts to cut the 'Thanks' using my Hello You Thinlits dies. I stamped the 'So Much' from the Crazy About You stamp set (available with the Thinlits as the Crazy About You bundle at a 15% discount) in Early Espresso ink and punched using the Word Window punch.

Just Saying Hello Adventure Bound Notecard from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters ;0) A very Happy Monday morning to you all. I hope you had a lovely crafty weekend. It has been a busy one here as I have lots of exciting Stampin' Up! events to prepare for this week. It is my monthly card class on Saturday as well as some exciting Sale-A-Braiton parties over the next week too (I still have dates available through February and March if you'd like to take advantage of all the extra Sale-A-Bration freebies). I've been having fun designing Thank You gifts for my lovely hostesses. But I'll share those with you next week.

Today's crafty project is another inspired by Jenny Hayward in Australia. I said it before and I'll say it again, the Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper Stack is perfect for creating quick and easy cards for men. Something I usually find quite a struggle is made so simply by these bold photographic designs.

With this card I wanted to give the card a graffiti feel. The brick design papers were a perfect base for a graffiti theme. I used my Crazy About You Bundle (comprised of the Crazy About You stampset and Hello You Thinlits Dies) to create the sentiment. I stamped the 'Just Sayin' in Early Espresso to stand out from the brickwork. The 'Hello' and cardbase are cut from Cajun Craze cardstock.

My final embellishment were the three Gold Glimmer stars punched using my Confetti Stars Punch.

Adventure Bound + Hello You Thinlits Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters.

As you can see I have stuck with my theme this morning. Here is another card inspired by these amazing creations from Jenny in Australia. I love the simplicity of letting the Adventure Bound Paper Stack speak for itself. I love keeping the photo clear images the focus of the card and just adding a sentiment over the top. A perfect birthday card for the man in your life, traveller or nature lover.

For this card I layered the pebble paper over an Island Indigo cardstock base. I ran the 'Happy' Thinlit from the Hello You Thinlit set (which I purchased as a bundle with the Crazy for You stamp set) through my Big Shot to cut a Whisper White greeting.

I then cut a small Whisper White pennant which I stamped 'Birthday' on using the Crazy About You stamp set (designed to accompany the words framelits). I finished by adding 3 Regals Candy Dots.

Fun with the Adventure Awaits Bundle by Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafty friends. I have a confession. I am in love with the new Adventure Bound Paper Stack. I cannot express just how lovely these papers are. They are 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" in size which is perfect for mounting on to a card front as I have done here. The stack has 48 sheets (4 each of 12 double sided designs) and each sheet is lovely quality thick cardstock.

These papers are perfect for masculine projects and would suit a Birthday, Father's Day, graduation or any celebration where more masculine colours are needed. And they are so lovely on their own they need little extra embellishment.

This card is a case of a little frame in the Spring Summer catalogue. I love the simplicity of simply stamping the 'Adventure Begins' stamp in bold black over the top of the tree image. This would be a perfect 'Travel Safe' card for someone off on a travelling adventure.
