With a new catalogue just around the corner this is a perfect time to pick up a bargain and say goodbye to some old favourites. Birthday Bash Lined Berry Basket from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters.

How was your weekend? I had a lovely crafty day out on Friday with Mum. We popped to the Make It show in Farnborough. So much lovely inspiration and crafts to have a go at. Mum and I tried our hands at block printing to create a tea towel. I love trying new things although I really don't have extra hours in the day for new crafts *lol*

And did you see the new Sale-A-Bration products? What a great way to start the crafty week!

Today's crafty share is a little basket I created for my Monthly Card Class ladies. I used a base of Bermuda Bay cardstock with the Berry Basket Bigz Die. I then cut a second basket with Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper to line the inside of my basket.

To accessorise the basket I punched a bow using my Gift Bow Punch in coordinating Birthday Bash papers.

Thank you for popping by today. You can find out more about the new Spring Summer Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration promotion by clicking here or by using the navigation menu on the left. This really is the most exciting time of the year to shop. New products and fantastic freebie rewards too.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop (click on the links below to find out more about specific products) or get in touch directly and I  can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door.

A festive trio of trees Christmas card using Festival of Trees from Stampin' Up!

Good morning crafters. As I didn't have a chance to share something crafty yesterday I am posting again today with this party make I shared with a lovely group of ladies last week. I demonstrated for a fantastically creative and clever group whose craftiness was incredibly inspiring. And I loved sharing stamping with them as it was something new to all of the ladies.

We used the Festival of Trees stamp set and coordinating punch to create a trio card. The card above is the slightly blinged up version I shared with the ladies to show how a little ribbon and Designer Series Paper can take a card up a level. The simpler version we all all made together is at the bottom of this post.

We used a simple trio of colours to create the three trees (a great starter combo for making your own Christmas cards)- Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler and Gold Encore ink. And don't forget that until October 6th all of our SU coloured ink pads are reduced in price to celebrate World Cardmaking Day. Get your hands on our ink pads for just £4.21 each.

We added stars punched with the Itty Bitty Accents punch set. These were punched from Gold Glimmer Paper. The sentiment is from the Good Greetings stamp set which is exclusively available to Hostesses who host a party before October 31st. Click here to find out more. The lovely Chrissy received this set for free for a lovely crafty evening with friends last week.

The blinged up version was embellished with a length of Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper and wrapped with Blackberry Bliss Stitched Ribbon. The sentiment was then embellished with Basic Rhinestones.

Our simpler version we simply stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler and punched with the Word Window Punch. The sentiment was then layered on to a punched Oval of Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper.

Thank you for popping by today. Don't forget to check out this weeks Weekly Deals and our World Cardmaking Day exclusively discounted products.

If you have any questions about today's project or the products I have used, please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. You can order online direct through my store by clicking the product links above or the pictures below. I also have availability in the next few months for your very own crafty party. Click on the Promotions tab above to see the exclusive hostess promotion running until October 31st.

And to celebrate the launch of the new Autumn Winter catalogue I wanted to share this fun Block Stepper Card I created for my August Card Class.

As you've probably realised I am completely addicted to my Blendabilities and colouring my stamped images. I'm by no means an expert when it comes to colouring but I enjoy experimenting with the colours to see what effects I can come up with. So when I opened my copy of the new catalogue you can imagine my delight when I came across the Partridge & Pears stamp set. I love colouring all the elements of this image.

This card was made using a Cherry Cobbler card base measuring 12" x 4-1/2" (scored at 1-1/2" intervals in both directions). I followed these instructions created by the lovely Eveline as to how to cut and fold the card base.

I then decorated with 1-1/4" squares of Champagne Glimmer Paper and 1-1/8" squares of Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper (a fantastic little paper stack with 48 sheets of 11.4 x 16.5cm Christmas paper for the bargain price of £6.25).

The image was then stamped in Memento Black ink and coloured with my Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler and Smokey Slate Blendabilities.

The Merry Christmas is stamped using the fab Good Greetings stamp set (receive free for hosting a party don't forget!)

Please let me know if you have any questions about this project. You can get in touch via email:poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. I'm more than happy to help. All Stampin' Up! products can be ordered through my online store by clicking the product links above or the pictures below. Or get in touch direct and I'll happily place an order for you.

Tulip Matchbox with Stampin' Up! Blessed Easter Stamp Set

Good morning and a very happy new crafty week to you.

What did you get up to this weekend? I spent the day at a Retro and Vintage Fayre yesterday promoting both Stampin' Up! and my South Hill Designs jewellery business. I met some really lovely people and Sylvie even got to chat to a lady with the same name. We had a fun day and lots of interest in the Retiring List and locket making too.

Today's crafty make is a matchbox made with the Envelope Punch Board created for my May card class. I saw a beautiful swap made for the recent Stampin' Up! incentive trip which used the tulip image from the Blessed Easter stamp on top of a matchbox so set about creating my own version. I used this tutorial video for the basic measurements and shape. I used the In Color Designer Series Paper Stack for the drawer and the In Color Coredinations Cardstock (currently reduced to £7.67 as part of the Retiring List) for the outer box.

The inside was stamped with the tulip image to give a little extra decoration.

The Blessed Easter stamp is only available to purchase for another month (not available after June 30th). When I mounted the stamp I cut the sentiment and mounted separately so that I could stamp the flowers on their own. This allows me to use the stamp all year round. If this is a stamp you have had your eye on, get your order in soon before Blessed Easter is gone for good.

Don't forget the current promotions at the moment using the links below:

You can order all Stampin' Up! products through my online store by clicking here or by clicking on any of the product links above. I will also happily order any products for you. Just drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249 and I'll happily assist.

Stampin' Up! UK Sale-A-Bration Good as Gold

Now I know I have been mainly focusing on the papers and Banner Punch in my Sale-A-Bration sneak peaks. But I cannot resist giving you a quick glimpse of this FANTASTIC Sale-A-Bration Thank You Card Kit.

It is a complete kit which makes 8 gorgeous gold accented cards with matching envelopes (I adore the gold foil envelope inserts- so shiny and glitzy). The photo doesn't show clearly the gold foiled spots on the card base which really show up against the gold banner and accents (all precut and ready to go).

I don't know about you, but some days I crave crafting with a kit. I want to put something together but don't want to have to think about cutting and matching everything up. This kit has everything precut and ready to go (even the lengths of Bakers Twine and Gold Elastic Cord). Absolutely brilliant.

If you'd like to find out more about Sale-A-Bration and the upcoming Spring Summer Catalogue please get in touch on either poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. I'll happily post you a copy of the catalogue and SAB brochure. I also have a few dates remaining for Sale-A-Bration crafty parties, so get in touch to nab your date and grab yourself some fab freebies.

Stampin' Up! UK Banner Blast Sneak Peak

Good morning all. I hope the weather hasn't been too bad where you are. So much flooding and wind here on the Isle of Wight. Still, I would rather this than a cold snap and it all turning to ice. I'm happy to batton down the hatches and watch Christmas TV I recorded and Sherlock on repeat.

I must begin with another apology for the poor lighting for today;s photos. I really must invest in a daylight lamp and pop up tent for picture taking. I am not doing the beautiful Stampin' Up! papers justice with these oddly coloured photos.

For Christmas I made my Mum a covered diary with photos and I also made them as Downline and Hostess Club gifts. Yesterday, I finally got around to covering my 2014 diary. I was carrying around far too many dates in my head and I am pretty sure a few have dropped out of my head before I had a chance to write them down. So enough was enough, I managed to get Summer in to bed early and spent an hour creating with lovely new papers and Sale-A-Bration & new catalogue sneaky peaks.

I covered my diary with a sheet of lovely papers from the new Spring Summer catalogue (please email me if you'd like a hardcopy sent to you : poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk. I cannot even begin to describe all the loveliness contained within the pages!), the Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper set. I love the combination of colours in these papers: Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, So Saffron,Tangerine Tango and Very Vanilla.

I then created the banner with Crisp Cantaloupe Twine from the fab Sweet Sorbet Sale-A-Bration Accessory Pack and the Sale-A-Bration Banner Punch (the patterned papers are again, Retro Fresh, with Champage Glimmer Paper accents). I used number stickers from my stash for the date. I used glue dots and candy dots to stick the twine in the shape of the banner.

I created this little accent with a strip of Coastal Cabana 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim and a stamped 'Love' banner from the Banner Blast Sale-A-Bration stamp set. The floral embellishments on the photo corner are from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Kit (I love these printed adhesive-backed cork embellishments).

The strip of Washi Tape you can see in the main picture was placed to hide the join in the plastic cover. I bought the covers to fit my Mum's diary and had 1 left which I had to customise to fit my slightly larger diary.

If you'd like to find out more about Sale-A-Bration or the new Spring Summer catalogue, please drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk. I'd be more than happy to pop a hardcopy of the catalogues in the post to you for you to peruse at your leisure.  And if you'd like to book a party and fill a date in my new diary, I'll happily find a space for you, email or give me a call on 01983 609249.

Stampin' Up! UK Sale-A-Bration Sneak Peak

With the New Year nearly upon us that can only mean one thing (aside from my birthday celebrations on the 1st that is!) Sale-A-Bration is nearly here.

For those new to Stampin' Up! this is my absolute favourite time of the Stampin' Up! year. From January 28th through to 31st March for every £45 spent you can choose a Sale-A-Bration freebie from the exclusive Sale-A-Bration mini catalogue (drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk if you'd like a copy in advance of the promotion beginning. My delivery of brochures is due today!). There are also lovely extras for anyone choosing to join my team during Sale-A-Bration or hosting a party (£25 in extra hostess freebies!).

A lovely benefit of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is that we can preorder new products before their official release date (we are all counting down the days to January 3rd when we can preorder from the new Spring Summer catalogue- lots and lots of lovely new things!). I have used some gorgeous new Sale-A-Bration sneak peak products to make the New Home card above.

I must apologise for the darkness of the photo. My sister and her other half bought her first home recently and got her keys just before Christmas. I was so excited about giving her a card and pressie that I couldn't wait to photo the cards in the day. So the only pics I have were taken at night I am afraid.

I absolutely adore the Sweet Sayings Card and Envelopes that are currently part of the Valentines promotion (only available to January 27th). I thought the lovely printed card base would be perfect for my New Home idea. I used the beautiful pastel inspired Sale-A-Bration Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Papers to create the little banners (that I punched with the new Sale-A-Bration Banner Punch). I also punched 2 squares using my 1" square punch from the DSP to create the house (I cut one square in half to make the roof). I also used the Tree from the Merry Minis Punch Pack to make the little tree with the house.

To create the words across the banner I punched the small circle from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack using the Crisp Cantaloupe paper. I then stamped the whole of the Simply Serif Mini Alphabet set  (I have not cut the individual letters. I use the whole alphabet as a sheet to make it easier to stamp and cut) in Baked Brown Sugar ink. I then cut the letters I needed to spell 'New Home'.

So as you can see, it was a fairly easy card using some of my lovely new Sale-A-Bration goodies!

Here is a second card I created at the same time for my Mum and Dad to give my sister. This uses a similar technique combined with the gorgeous 2013-2014 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack to create the little houses. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set.

Please get in touch if you'd like a copy of the Sale-A-Bration brochure or to find out more about joining my team or hosting a fun crafting party anytime during Sale-A-Bration. You can get in touch with me on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. Always happy to chat Stampin' Up! and craftiness ;0)

Stampin' Up! UK A Whole Lot Of Love Promotion

Hello to a new festive week here at Stampin' Sarah HQ.

I thought I would pop online and share the latest promotion from Stampin' Up! with you. This one is all about Love, A Whole Lot Of Love in fact.

The Annual Catalogue is a little bit light on Valentines stamps this year. And that was a deliberate move from Stampin' Up! so they could launch this special range of stamps and accessories for a limited time only (products available until January 27th).

We were shown a lot of these exclusive products at Convention. My absolute favourite of all of them is the little Monster Hugs treat boxes. They come in both boys and girls and would make perfect little Valentines treats for school friends of youngsters. I am investing in both sets to tuck away for Summer when she is a bit older.

Have a look at the flyers below for more information on the lovely products available including stamps, treat bags & notecard sets

Thanks for popping by today. Please say hello and leave a comment. I have set myself a target to find new blogs to read throughout December with some creative makings, so leave me a comment and I'd love to stop by and say hello.

And if you'd like to find out more about any of the Stampin' Up! products used for today's creation please drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. Or alternatively pop by my online store which you can find here:

Stampin' Up! UK Warm Holiday Wishes

Good morning crafters.

Thank you for joining me this lovely Autumnal Thursday morning. Today is an exciting day for us in the Poulton-Williams household as we have our 20 week scan this afternoon and *fingers crossed* we can find out what flavour our new little one is. And today is 2 years to the day since we had our 12 week scan with Summer. What a coincidence ;0)

So as promised I have been having a play with some of the lovely new promotional downloads in My Digital Studio. MDS is proving an even bigger time waster for me than Pinterest. Once I start looking through all the content and then start matching up my photos I get lost in a scrapbooky daze. If you haven't had a look at My Digital Studio yet, I strongly recommend giving it a go. You can download a free trial version here and find all the promotional downloads here.

This project uses the Warm Holiday Wishes Photocard Template currently part of the 30% off promotion at the brilliant price of £1.05. It is one of MDS' fantastic photo card templates ready for you to add photos to and then print either at home or through a printing service. And voila you have a ready made family greeting card to send to friends and family.

I cannot sing the praises of MDS highly enough. It makes scrapbooking quick and easy with the potential to print and add 3D embellishments to. It also makes projects such as photocards and postcards with the personal touch so easy to create and print at home.

I have so many festive projects to share with you over the upcoming weeks. They are all ready and waiting to be photographed so I can upload them here. I have been having a fab time playing with the festive packaging bundles (click here for more info) and creating gifts for my upcoming party hostesses and door prizes for attendees.

I have a new Hostess Code for you for orders placed before November 16th. If you place an order online add the code below to your order and I will add your name to the draw to win the hostess benefits for the order (with a minimum of £25 in hostess freebies):

V99TUSS2

Please get in touch if you have any questions about todays project or My Digital Studio, about placing an order or about Stampin' Up! in general. You can contact me on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249.
