An Among the Branches Christmas Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Weekly Deals Wednesday. New discounted products over on my web shop. I love the Into the Woods Elements and Ornate Tag Topper Punch. And I love discounts even more. Stampin' Up! have also updated the Clearance Rack with fantastic new bargains. Pop over to check out all the last chance items which are only available while stocks last.

Today I have another of our card class makes to share with you inspired by this creation I saw over on Stasia's blog. We used a Whisper White card base layered with Cherry Cobbler and a strip of Merry Moments Designer Series Paper.

I heat embossed the branch and details from the Among the Branches. I have found the key to a clean embossed card is to remember to brush your card base with the Embossing Buddy. Such a clever invention that stops all the loose bits of powder from sticking to your card and creating spots when you heat.

I added Metallics Sequins and the tiny Basic Pearls to create snow and sparkle.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

In Colour Flower Patch Fry Box Birthday Gift

When I unpacked my lovely new box of goodies from the catalogue I was super excited to try out the new French Fry Box Die. I had seen so many lovely projects on Pinterest using this die. I found the perfect occasion last weekend when I went out for a crafty friend's birthday. I had bought these two little sparkly glitter glues in Silver Sparkle and Cherry Cobbler and needed a little container to put them in. The Fry Box was the perfect fit.

I cut the Fry Box in Whisper White and then cut a lining panel from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack for the inside of the box. I then stamped the outside of the box using the FAB new photopolymer stamp set, Flower Patch, in Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss (colours taken directly from the DSP colour scheme). I finished the box with a length of Coastal Cabana Thick Bakers Twine tied around with a bow.

I created the little matching birthday tag using my Scallop Tag Topper Punch. I punched the matching flowers and then inked the edges of the tag in Blackberry Bliss with a Sponge Dauber.

I had so much fun creating this little Fry Box. It has made me want to order the matching Hamburger Box Die now too. I can see I'll be making a lot of these for friends and family for the upcoming festive season.

Yes I said it, Christmas is not too far away in crafting terms. I have been super busy prepping for my Christmas Craft Days. The first of which is only a fortnight away now. I have some lovely projects lined up for my crafting ladies. I cannot wait to share the projects with you very soon with some fab project tips and tutorials too.

Thank you for stopping by today and sharing in a little crafty creativity. If you'd like any further information about the project, please get in touch.

New Photopolymer Stamps & A By The Tide Birthday

Good morning and a Happy May 1st to everyone. And also a very Happy Birthday to my Dad too.

The new month has brought some exciting news from Stampin' Up! The new catalogue will include an exciting new range of photopolymer stamps (completely clear stamps so you can see exactly where you are stamping). To celebrate these new stamps, throughout May Stampin' Up! are offering a free photopolymer stamp set with a purchase of £60+. These sets are exclusive and will not be carrying over in to the new catalogue. So this is your only chance to get your hands on them. You can find out more my clicking on my 'Promotions' tab above or by clicking on the photo above to be connected to my online store.

So with the start of May begins my little run of family birthdays. Today's birthday is my Dads and today's crafty share is the card I made for his birthday. This card is a case of a lovely project I saw over on Monica Gale's blog. My Dad loves his fish so when I saw this card made with the By The Tide stamp set I knew it would be perfect for him.

I love the layered stamping and the detail of using the Chevron Ribbon, Designer Button and Linen Thread to give that nautical feel. The fish was stamped with Black Stazon and then daubered with So Saffron and Marina Mist to give this two tone feel.

I also made another card for Dad using this set which was from Mum. It is a lovely little card/gift. I will be sharing that next week as I have another birthday project to share tomorrow. I have been trying out some new doodling arty techniques and I made my sisters birthday card using all the lovely bright Stampin' Write markers. Pop back tomorrow to see what I created for my littlest sister.

Thank you for popping by today. You can order all Stampin' Up! products through my online store by click here or by clicking on any of the product links above. I will also happily order any products for you. Just drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249 and I'll happily assist.
