An Inside the Lines Watercolor Thank You from Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Monday lovelies.

How was your weekend? We've been tucked up inside keeping warm and crafting this end. The girls have been absorbed with their new dinosaur stencils and I've been catching up with Stich Alongs (pics later).

My card I am sharing today uses the lovely Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper which can be yours free with an order of £45 until March 31st. I love that this DSP picks up on the adult colouring trend and gives crafters the opportunity to try different colouring techniques. For this card I chose to use my Stampin' Up! Watercolour Pencils from the Spring Summer catalogue. I coloured and then blended with my Aqua Painters.

For the sentiment I added a strip of Old Olive and stamped the sparkle thank you from the Love Sparkles stamp set.

This is my favourite design paper from the set as I loved colouring the larger flowers and loved the bumble bee as an added feature.

And finally, for anyone following my progress with my Lakeside Needlecraft Stitch Alongs (a Stitch Along or SAL is where you sign up for a period of time, usually 12 months, and then the chart is revealed one month at a time- so you dont know  here are my two finishes from the weekend.

This is the March Pheonix for the Fantasy SAL:

And here are the March fishes for the Under the Sea SAL (Dory is my needleminder and not part of the design):

A Floral Masked Wreath Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning lovelies and a very happy Good Friday to you all.  I hope you have lots of fun craftiness planned for your day. We are off to the RSPCA Easter Fayre later so the girls can take part in the Easter Egg Hunt. We have had an unusually early start to the day due to raised excitement levels.

I have a stamped floral wreath card to share today. This uses a whole selection of floral stamp sets and a 2" punched post-it note mask.

Once I positioned the punched circle I layered my floral images around the edges using Garden Green, Crushed Curry and Night of Navy.

Once my wreath was stamped I removed the mask to stamp my Watercolor Words sentiment and I then finished with a Botanicals Jewel for a bit of sparkle.

As I was up so early this morning with my over excited girlies I had a bit of time to finish my 6th cross stitch owl. This one was designed in blackwork. I chose to add colour to my design so stitched in lovely Spring colours (which I only just realised match my needle minder Joy).

Wishing you all a lovely Easter weekend. Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, Sale-A-Bration or any of our new products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!).

#Imbringingbirthdaysback You're So Lovely Birthday Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

A very Happy Monday to you all from Stampin' Sarah HQ. It has been a super busy day here hence the much later blogging than usual. I have been hard at work prepping for my Tin of Cards class on Saturday (what a lovely kit that is to work with! More on that later in the week though).

Today I have a lovely card I received to share with you. This is not one I crafted for myself. There is a lovely crafter in the US, Shannon West, who works at Stampin' Up! Head Office who has started the #Imbringingbirthdaysback movement. She posted earlier in the year that she thinks social media has ruined birthdays as no one sends birthday cards any more. So she asked if anyone would like a handmade card sent from the US to celebrate their birthday. At last look the post had over 1000 comments with people's birthdays listed ;0)

I posted that my birthday had been and gone by the time she started sending cards (I'm January 1st) but lo and behold I came home in the week to see this envelope sitting waiting for me. I was absolutely delighted! Shannon has written a lovely message inside and said I could still celebrate a few weeks late ;0) And I guess this is the whole point. Feeling such delight at receiving a handmade card is why we all craft and make and give to those we love. So I have made a long list of birthdays for the year and I going to make a concerted effort to get cards in the post to pay it forward.

I love the sentiment of what Shannon has started and as crafters I am sure we need no excuse to get creating. So crack open your Perpetual Birthday Calendar kit. Mark all those upcoming birthdays on it and get crafting..... And if you'd like a handmade card from me from the Isle Of Wight just drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk with your name, birthday and postal address. I am happy to post worldwide so just let me know when and where and there'll be something special winging its way to you.

And I also have an update on my KLT Charting Owl Stitch Along. We have a new Owl being released this Wednesday so I wanted to keep you up to date on my project's progress. I found in my Grandma's tin this lovely blue variegated thread. So that is how I dressed Owl No 2.

And I decided to be a bit cheeky and outline the next two to make life a little easier when the next two Owls are released. I can just get on and stitch without worrying about my outline first.

Thank you for popping by today. Pop back on Wednesday for more craftiness.

A week of Going Global with Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Monday crafters.

I hope you've had a good week so far. I've been getting to grips with my sewing machine over the weekend. I rustled up a grime guard for my cross stitch frame to stop my fabric getting dusty and dirty. I'll take a picture and share later in the week. I also squeezed a few hours in my craft room watching catch up Christmas TV (Big Fat Quiz of the Year anyone?). I managed to get quite a few cards made alongside some packs for my lovely new team members. I have welcomed three lovely new ladies to my team so far this month. Sale-A-Bration really is such a great time to sign up and join Stampin' Up! Visit the Join My Team tab for more info but in essence you get an additional £30 to spend in your Starter Kit (£99 for £160 worth of products).

I have three projects to share with you this week focusing on the Going Global stamp set from the Spring Summer catalogue. I got to try this stamp set at Convention in November and loved the constellation image straight away. It is such a lovely set with so many potential uses.

My first project uses a Night of Navy and gold theme. I used the constellation stamp to create a background and then heat embossed the globe image and punched with my 2" Circle Punch.

I added Gold Metallic Thread behind my globe image and mounted with Dimensionals. I layered my card front over Champagne Glimmer Paper and Whisper White.

I've also been busy this weekend with a new cross stitching project. I have recently come across Stitch Alongs online. I never knew these existed. I think I might be hooked! I have signed up to the KLT Charting 2016 Owl Stitch Along (SAL). Every fortnight a new owl chart will be released and each person is free to stitch in whichever thread or colours they choose. My first owl has turned out lovely. I love all things bright and owl-y so he makes me very happy ;0) I'll be sure to share more as I go along as this project matches my blog perfectly.

Thank you for popping by today. Pop back on Wednesday for another Going Global card project.
