Curvy Keepsake Die Halloween Pumpkins using Stampin' Up! Products

I have a super quick and easy seasonal share for you today. I made these little Curvy Keepsake Box Pumpkins for my team get together last week. I thought they were perfectly Autumnal and Halloweeny (and they came with a lovely little chocolatey pumpkin treat too!).

I have seen so many different creations with the Curvy Keepsake Die (just type Stampin' Up! Curvy Keepsake in to Pinterest for so many different ideas from animals to patterns to zombies!) and I wanted to have a go at one myself. I found this tutorial that showed me how to cut the box most economically. I used a card base of Tangerine Tango with the sides cut from a Tangerine Tango patterned paper from the Flower Pot Designer Series Paper pack. I added the label cut from Old Olive (this is part of the Curvy Keepsake Die set of framelit dies) and stamped the 'For You' from a sentiment in the For All Things stamp set.

I tied the label with Linen Thread and finished with three Candy Dots (I lost one along the way somewhere!).

I hope you have lots of lovely crafty plans for the weekend. I have my monthly card class tomorrow. I had a bit of a cake baking disaster trying to prep for tomorrow. It looked so lovely when I found the recipe online. Sadly I changed one element of the Cherry and White Chocolate Loaf and it appears to have been quite vital as the final result was lovely tasting but certainly not something I could present to my lovely crafty ladies tomorrow looks wise (and I have somehow managed to cover my computer in cake mixture too!). Thankfully my Mum has come to the rescue with some homemade mince pies instead *hooray*

If you have any questions about today's project or the products I have used, please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. You can order online direct through my store by clicking the product links above or the pictures below. I also have availability in the next few months for your very own crafty party. Click on the Promotions tab above to see the exclusive hostess promotion running until October 31st.

Happy Watercolour Tag Card

Good morning crafty friends.

I have a lovely creation for you this morning designed by Hayley, one of my lovely team of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. We had our monthly shoebox swap meet up last week and this was the gorgeous card Hayley brought along for us all to create.

This showcases so many of the beautiful products in the Spring Summer catalogue as well as the fabulous Decorative Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder which you can add to your order for free as part of Sale-A-Bration (when you spend £45).

The Happy Watercolor stamp set is my absolute favourite new set from the Spring Summer catalogue. I just love the effect of the graduated background stamp which gives the paintbrush swish effect. It makes creating a watercolour effect so simple.

This card uses Pear Pizzazz, Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant (used for highlighting the floral elements when colouring the stamped images). We coloured the flowers using Blender Pens and the three coloured ink pads.

And did you spot the tag? This was created using a great new punch in the catalogue, the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. It makes creating matching DSP or cardstock tags so easy. All you need to do is cut your rectangle of paper to size and slot in the punch and voila you have a perfectly punched scallop tag!

Pop back tomorrow as I have some exciting news to share about a fantastic new embossing tool as well as another crafty project to share too.

Please get in touch if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or if you would like to place an order. I'm always happy to have a crafty chat or help in any way I can: poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249.

Wildflower Meadow Bundle Bargain

Good morning and welcome to a new crafty week on the Isle of Wight with Stampin' Sarah!

Its been a hectic few weeks with Stampin' Up!'s new catalogue and introducing my lovely customers to all the new products. Thank you to everyone who came along to my Open House on Saturday. It was lovely to catch up with customers (old and new) and members of my fab crafty team. I really appreciate you all popping by and hope to see you all again soon.

Thank you all for bearing with me recently. My blogging has taken a bit of a backseat with all the exciting new products to play with. I'll hopefully be sharing lots of fab new products with you over the upcoming weeks.

So the first of this weeks crafty projects is one of the shoebox projects from my team get together last month (if you'd like to find out more about my team and joining the Stampin' Up! family please click here). This was created by Sandy and uses Wild Wasabi and the fantastic Wildflower Meadow Bundle of products (I do love a good discounted bundle- of which there are many in the new catalogue!) The matchability & coordination of all Stampin' Up!'s products is what first made me fall in love with the catalogue and started my SU journey. And I still love this side of SU craftiness ;0)

The Wildflower Meadow bundle includes the stamp and the embossing folder with a 15% discount on both products together:

Wood-Mount 132735 £19.95

Best of Flowers Shoebox Make

Happy Tuesday to you ;0) And thanks for popping by today.

Today I am sharing a project inspired by this card I'd seen on a talented Demonstrator, Julie's blog. This clear block stamping technique is all the rage since it was demonstrated on stage at our recent Regional Event in Telford. I love the subtle blending of the Lucky Limeade and the Daffodil Delight. If you'd like to learn more about the technique see my earlier post here.

This was my card at my monthly team shoebox swap. We all get together to chat about Stampin' Up! and craft together. Its lovely to share Stampin' Up! with other like minded crafters. I'd love for you to join us. If you'd like to find out more, please get in touch or see the 'Join My Team' tab at the top.

The stamp used is from the exclusive Best of Flowers stamp set, available for a limited time to celebrate Stampin' Up!'s 25th anniversary. I stamped using a brand new colour, Burnt Brown Sugar, on Crumb Cake cardstock to create the tone on tone background. I then stamped the same image in Basic Black onto my blended background. I finished with Stitched Daffodil Delight ribbon.

For more info on the Best of Flowers click on the picture below.
133342 Best of Flowers
 £13.95

If you'd like to order this exclusive stamp set or take advantage of the remaining days of the Retiring Lists please get in touch and I will be happy to help you place an order delivered direct to you door (poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249).

Thanks for stopping by Stampin' Sarah today. Things are still a bit crazy here as my poor other half is still suffering with his leg elevated due to an injury last week. And I'm busy pottering and collecting bits and pieces for the camper van. Just need Sam on the mend so we can get out on adventures again. Cannot wait to pack up some crafting supplies and take my cardmaking and scrapbooking on the road.

Shoebox Swapping with my Team

To celebrate the final day of Sale-A-Bration I am sharing the lovely projects we made at my team shoebox swap on Monday.

What a lovely variety of projects and techniques. I love seeing what my lovely team come up with as we all have such different styles and colour favourites.

Lorraine made the fab punch art Easter bunny topper which came with a lovely chocolatey treat too (that didn't make it to the picture I am afraid!). I love this idea. You seal the bunny over the top of a cello bag filled with Easter-y treats.

Charlotte designed the Rich Razzleberry card with a stamp set I am ashamed to admit, I had never even seen in the catalogue before this card, Lacy & Lovely (page 99). She paired the stamp with beautiful matching designer series paper. This is the beauty of crafting with my team ladies, we all own different stamps and come at Stampin' Up! with different crafty styles and interests.

The final card isn't too clear in the picture above so I have shown separately below. This was designed by Hayley using the stunning Swallowtail stamp in the Spring Summer catalogue.
I love this technique and absolutely adore this stamp now. I had overlooked it as being too big in the catalogue. But now, having used it, I have placed an order to get my hands on it myself. It is so detailed and intricate. Such a lovely card and such a stunning stamp too ;0)
As I mentioned previously, today is the final day of Sale-A-Bration. So place your orders with me before 5pm to take advantage of the fabulous Stampin' Up! freebies and to be entered in to the 'Win a Big Shot' competition.

Thank you for stopping by today and thank you to all for a fabulous Sale-A-Bration ;0)

A crafty catch up

My poor blog has been neglected over the past week due to a house full of cold and bugs. First it was me and Summer and now my other half has it. I think we might've given it to my poor family also. So all in all its been pretty hectic trying to get us all better.

But on a positive note, I have been able to get some crafting done while we have been house bound and Summer has been napping.

Tomorrow is my monthly card class and it will be the last until the New Year for two of my regular class attendees. So I have created a couple of extra projects for us all to complete together. I always like to create a special fun chocolate gift bag for my December class but have moved it forward to this month for all my ladies. For this project I have used one of the glassine bags from the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit in the Autumn Winter catalogue and embossed it with the Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder. I cut a snowflake using the Snow Flurry Bigz Die and layered that with a stamped circle (the penguin from Polar Party) and a circle of Red Glimmer Paper. The banners are cut from the Be Of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper.

This bag is filled with lots of lovely chocolately Christmas goodies.

To make up for my quiet blogging week I will also share with you three cards I made at a Christmas showbox swap with 3 fellow Demonstrators on Thursday. We each brought enough supplies for each to complete each others card design. It was a lovely couple of hours and great to have a catch up and chat Stampin' Up! Here are the three cards I made provided by Sandy, Lorraine and Jane. It was lovely to get inspiration and see what different projects we all made. Look forward to seeing them all again soon (and Lorraine will have a new addition to celebrate too ;0)

Hopefully I will get a bit more time to blog this week and share all the lovely card class projects I have been working on.

Happy Autumnal Weekend Crafting to you all ;0)
