A Cookie Cutter New Baby Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Monday.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I have been busy getting ready for my eldest to start school tomorrow *sob sob*. There are only so many name labels one person can deal with in a day.

I've a card to share today that uses the Cookie Cutter Bundle from the new Autumn Winter catalogue. I wanted to show that you can use products that at first seem only seasonal but can in fact be used all year round.

Recently my next door neighbour had a little baby girl and I wanted to pop a card through to congratulate the family (they have only recently moved in). So I came up with this using the teddy bear from the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp.  I created this little girl teddy with  Blushing Bride and Rose Red inks.

The background is So Saffron stamped directly on to my Whisper White card base with an acrylic block and added sparkle with my Wink of Stella Brush pen. To finish I added the Cottage Greetings 'Congrats' and a strip of Basic Pearls.

I'll be back on Thursday evening when I am taking part in a Pinkies Team blog hop. Be sure to pop back then for lots of creative fun and inspiration.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!).

New Baby Cards from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning my lovely crafty friends. How was your weekend? Lots of very productive cardmaking and crafting here ;0) I've been busily prepping for upcoming classes as well as working on my many Stitch Alongs (I seriously need to stop signing up for these- 4 is quite enough to be working on!)

I'm a little late posting these two new baby projects. I've had a crazy week with the girls and end of term so things have been a bit off schedule. But better late than never I say.

Two of my friends gave birth last week and I wanted to make them both special cards for their little girls.

The first card uses the gorgeous hostess set Love You Lots (I partially inked the stamp to miss the little mouse) alongside the Balloon Punch, Labeler Alphabet, Playful Palette Paper Stack and Playful Backgrounds stamps.

I used a Smoky Slate marker to colour the shadow under the elephant. I also adhered the balloon and then doodled the balloon string with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.

The second card I created using the Playful Palette DSP as my main layer I then added the stamped lamb from Barnyard Babies (which I punched with my Sweetheart Punch) and the Labeler Alphabet name and sentiment.

As a final detail I added the little In Color Enamel hearts.

I have lots more to share this week including a 2nd birthday card and a special thank you set for my little girls keyworker at preschool.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, or any of our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. A New Baby Girl Butterfly Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Weekly Deals Wednesday crafters. Hope you are having a productive week so far. We have a house full of colds here so not much but snuggling and keeping warm happening so far. But I have a lot of ideas awaiting translation to paper to share with you.

Today's project is a super special card I made for my friend who had a little girl last month. Natalie is a friend from Uni who I shared the ups and downs of singledom and longing for children with. We are both now in our 30s with two children a piece. I loved making this card to celebrate the arrival of little Laura-Mia.

My colour scheme for this card is So Saffron and Pink Pirouette.  I started by stamping the name and date with my rotary stamp in Pink Pirouette. I then punched the words centrally with my 2.5" Circle Punch. I used the Bitty Butterfly Punch to create my circle (I used the butterflies to cover the edges of my word circle raised with dimensionals).

To finish I added Subtles Candy Dots, a heart punched with my Bitty Accents Heart Punch and lots of basic pearls.

Inside I added butterflies stamped with the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Stamp Set and the sentiment is from Cottage Greetings (stamped in Rose Red).

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. Shades of Blue Celebration Cards using Stampin' Up! Bravo and Zoo Babies

Good morning and welcome to a very British soggy Bank Holiday Monday. I had grand plans for walking and car-booting today. Sadly I think the rain has put those plans on hold. Might have to craft instead. What a shame ;0)

What have you been up to this weekend? I have been busy with family and craftiness (it was my monthly card class this weekend- projects to be shared later in the week! I'll give you a little clue, more festive sneak peeks!). But I did also manage to grab a few minutes for a couple of quick celebration cards.

My first celebration was a Congratulations card for a member of my jewellery team who promoted last week. I wanted to send her a little note in the post to say a huge well done as she only joined my team on Monday!

I love the oversized sentiments in the Bravo Photopolymer stamp set from Stampin' Up! and knew they would make a perfect congratulations card. I used an Island Indigo cardstock base layered with Coastal Cabana and Whisper White. I coloured the stamp using my Tempting Turquoise, Island Indigo, Lost Lagoon, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write Markers.

To create the layered stars I punched using my Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack star punch and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. I layered the sparkly star over Coastal Cabana and Island Indigo stars.

And while I had my blues out on my craft desk I also created a new baby card for a friend who recently celebrated the arrival of her son. I stamped the animal images from the Zoo Babies stamp set. I masked each animal with a post it note to make sure I layered the animals carefully on top of one another.

My colour scheme for this card was Island Indigo, Tempting Turquoise, Lost Lagoon and Marina Mist.

I created the bunting using the Banner Punch layered with circles stamped with the Simply Serif Mini Alphabet and punched with the 1/2" Circle Punch.

So all in all I had a very shades of blue crafty weekend. I will be back on Wednesday with more Christmas craftiness. I have all the lovely projects from this months card class to share as well as the remaining projects from my Christmas Craft Days too.

Please let me know if you have any questions about this project. You can get in touch via email: poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249. I'm more than happy to help. All Stampin' Up! products can be ordered through my online store by clicking the product links above or the pictures below. Or get in touch and I'll happily place an order for you.

Happy Crafting

Welcome to the Isle of Wight for a little craftiness: Pinkies New Catalogue Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We're showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

Welcome to the Isle of Wight for my little corner of this fantastic Pinkies new catalogue blog hop. Hello if you have joined me from Lucy's blog.

When it came to designing a project for today's hop I knew exactly what I wanted to use: my lovely new Epic Alphabet Photopolymer Stamp Set paired with the fantastic Little Moments Project Life Accessory Pack. I had purchased these box frames from a well known Scandinavian home store recently and wanted to created these newborn shadow boxes with little newborn keepsakes for each of my girls. Although I didn't realise just how impossible the glass would be to photograph.

For the first frame I used the Epic Alphabet to stamp 'Summer' and the Skinny Mini Alphabet for 'Rose' and the birthdate. I stamped these completely by eye. The new photopolymer stamps make stamping alphabets so much easier and they are so easy to line up.

I then used my new Hearts Decorative Mask to create the corner feature. I sponge daubered So Saffron ink first and then lightly added Blushing Bride as an accent over the top. I wanted the ink colours to match the colours in the onesie sleeve I included in the box. This was the sleepsuit Summer wore home from the hospital.

For the second frame I again used the Epic Alphabet for 'Sylvie' but this time I used my Little Bundle Accessory Pack for the 'Grace'. I also used the stickers within the pack to create the corner feature with the ducks, elephants and hearts.

To create the little circle embellishment I covered the lid of an empty Designer Button container with sticky strip and then cut round the Tatty Ted image from Sylvie's onesie (this is the same onesie she is wearing in the photo) and stuck it over the lid. I then secured with sticky strip on the inside to create this 3d embellishment.

I also just wanted to point out how beautiful the little 2013-2015 In Color Sequins are. I have used these throughout both frames as they are just so lovely. I can see these will be a favourite feature on all my projects going forward.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my crafty shares and that you are loving all the new catalogue inspiration today. Please hop on over to Anne Marie's blog to continue our hop.
