A Fresh Fruit One Sheet Wonder Gift Set from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Tuesday Crafters.

How was your weekend? The Isle of Wight has been sprinkled with the most beautiful sunshine all weekend. In celebration of the summer I designed this gift set to teach at my July Monthly Card Class on Saturday. I haven't created with a one sheet wonder since  I first joined Stampin' Up! 6 years ago and had forgotten what fun they can be (stamp an A4 sheet of cardstock with multiple images and then use this as the basis of a series of cards). This was a project inspired by my lovely upline Michelle who created a similar project using the Blooms and Wishes stamp set.

This set is made up of 7 cards which I housed in this lovely little presentation box (instructions for the box can be found here thanks to Lyssa at Song of My Heart Stampers). I used up little scraps of DSP to make my decorative panel on the front of my box.

Here are the 7 cards that fit inside the box. I used the In Colors 2016-2018 as my color scheme combined with Pear Pizzazz. I also used highlights of the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper alongside the Sunshine Sayings Bundle to create my sentiments.  I also added washi tape from my washi stash.

I thoroughly recommend returning to a one sheet wonder if you haven't had a go for a while. It is a fun and super quick way to create a whole series of cards along one theme. And the set as a whole would make a lovely gift.

A Fresh Fruit Teacher Thank You from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

This week has been an emotional one in the Stampin' Sarah household as my eldest graduated from preschool. Where did those 4 years go already? Which can only mean one thing. In about 6 weeks time I will be sharing an artfully staged picture of Summer in her school uniform on the first day of school.

Her lovely keyworker at preschool will be inheriting my youngest in September but we wanted to make her something special to say thank you for all her support over the past 11 months. So this is what I came up with using the Fresh Fruit stamp set and coordinating Fruit Stand DSP.

To wrap the little apple keychain I got from Paper Panda I used a glassine bag I had in my retired Stampin' Up! stash. I made the little thank you using an offcut of Fruit Stand DSP paired with the sentiment from Fresh Fruit stamp set.

For the main card I used a Whisper White card base layered with Basic Black and Fruit Stand DSP. For my stamped panel I stamped the sentiment from Thankful Thoughts in Basic Black. Adding the flowers from Fresh Fruit. As a final detail I stamped and hand cut the flowers in Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach.

A Barnyard Babies 2nd Birthday Celebration Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Wednesday Crafters ;0)

I have a special 2nd Birthday card to share with you this morning. This was made for a friend's grandson who we celebrated with at the weekend. He lives on a farm and loves spending time with the animals. I created this card for him last year with the same stamp set and wanted to use the lovely farm animals again for his 2nd birthday.

I started with a Marina Mist cardbase which I layered with Wild Wasabi. I then used my Basic Black ink pad to stamp the farm animals all over my Whisper White layer.

For the feature layer I stamped the number 2 from the Number of Years stamp set. I then stamped it again on to the sticky bit of a post it note to create a mask. I then stamped the cow to make it appear like he is peeking out behind the number.

I hand coloured the cow and chick with my Stampin' Write Markers and then added the black outline to my number 2 to make it stand out more. The final detail I added was Clear Wink of Stella painted over the top of the 2 to give a bit of sparkle.

New Baby Cards from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning my lovely crafty friends. How was your weekend? Lots of very productive cardmaking and crafting here ;0) I've been busily prepping for upcoming classes as well as working on my many Stitch Alongs (I seriously need to stop signing up for these- 4 is quite enough to be working on!)

I'm a little late posting these two new baby projects. I've had a crazy week with the girls and end of term so things have been a bit off schedule. But better late than never I say.

Two of my friends gave birth last week and I wanted to make them both special cards for their little girls.

The first card uses the gorgeous hostess set Love You Lots (I partially inked the stamp to miss the little mouse) alongside the Balloon Punch, Labeler Alphabet, Playful Palette Paper Stack and Playful Backgrounds stamps.

I used a Smoky Slate marker to colour the shadow under the elephant. I also adhered the balloon and then doodled the balloon string with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.

The second card I created using the Playful Palette DSP as my main layer I then added the stamped lamb from Barnyard Babies (which I punched with my Sweetheart Punch) and the Labeler Alphabet name and sentiment.

As a final detail I added the little In Color Enamel hearts.

I have lots more to share this week including a 2nd birthday card and a special thank you set for my little girls keyworker at preschool.

A Foxy Friends Congratulations Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Wednesday Crafters!

What a crazy week it has been at Stampin' Sarah HQ. I've managed to fit in some craftiness and class preparation amid all the family chaos. I've been beavering away at my Christmas Craft Day preparations for August. I cannot wait to get Christmas-y. My craft organising brain is already thinking 5 months ahead and things to make before the big day.

Today I have a card we made at my June card class to share. I fell in love with the Foxy Friends bundle when I saw them in Telford back in May. I've seen so many creations with this stamp and punch bundle from frogs to skunks to tigers. But for my first card with the set I stuck with the lovely little fox.

I combined the fox with the Flourish and Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. I added flowers stamped using the Swirly Bird stamp set layered over the leaves.

This is a really fun stamp set to play with and create little animals with. I love the simplicity of layering with photopolymer stamps.

I have some lovely cards to share with you on Friday. Over the past weekend two of my lovely friends gave birth to daughters. So I had fun creating them new baby cards which are all ready to share later in the week.

A Honey Bee Spinner Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Wednesday Crafters.

Have you had a go with the new Sliding Card Framelit Dies yet? I absolutely love how easy these dies make spinner cards. If you love interactive special projects cards as much as I do then you'll love these dies. I was convinced this card would be super complicated to construct. But aside from the dies all I had to add was two pennies and some dimensionals to put together the spinning element.

I used Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight cardstock with the Irresistibly Floral Designer Series Paper.. Once I cut all the elements I needed using the Framelits I then stamped my bee and bee hive and added the sentiment and details to my card front. To create the spinner element you simply need to sandwish a dimensional between two washers or pennies and then add your image over the top. This spinner then sits between the layers of your card and is free to spin around your main central image.

The framelit set also contains a longer spinner track so you can make a second spinning style card. I've yet to experiment with the second shape but can feel some fab Christmas cards coming on with it.

A Pop of Pink Club Gift Notebook from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning lovelies and a very Happy Monday to you all.

How has your weekend been? I have started a new Stitch Along project with Lakeside Needlecraft and we received the first chart for the project border on Friday. I lost many hours this weekend to stitching and all the loveliness of this exclusive fantasy SAL.  I am starting another one on Wednesday to follow on from my 6 month Owl SAL so I am going to be super busy stitching wise.

My craft project share for the day are these little notebooks I have made for my lovely Hostess Club members. These little personalised notebooks will be slipped in with my ladies June orders.

I found the little black notebooks in Tiger on a recent trip across the water to Whiteley Village and I liberated the pencils (which I have covered in washi tape) from a well known furniture store (I got every member of my family to use a pencil during our trip! I couldn't resist as they were a perfect size to accompany my little books).

I love these Pop of Pink Designer Series Papers which I partnered with the Pop of Pink Washi Tapes. I added the sweetheart punch cut out and a personalised name on each stamped with the Labeller Alphabet stamp set. To finish I added sparkly sequins.

I love these Pop of Pink papers. They are great for any occasion and some of the designs are lovely and subtle while others are bright and bold.

Just to finish my creative share for today I have my finished Owl Stitch Along project to share. I posted a few of my owls along the way. Here are all twelve together. I used my Grandma's tin of threads she gave me a while back. I loved the happy and bright colours. I am doing a new project kicking off on Wednesday which is along the same lines but with frogs instead of the owls.
