Stampin' Up! UK Undefined Stamping

Good morning all and welcome to another crafty day!

Good news, I found my Undefined stamp that I created. It was hiding from me in one of the many pockets in my fab Convention bag (a pic to follow once the lighting is a bit better). I was so relieved to have found it. It is not a masterpiece but I had worked on it for Summer and was sad to think that I had left it Manchester.

The picture above shows the stamped image on the block. Once you have designed and carved your image you can then ink it up with black Staz On and stamp your wooden block so it looks and feels like a normal Stampin' Up! stamp. As you can see I tried to carve a sunshine image with Summer's initial. I spent ages coming up with an idea as I only had the one piece of rubber and didn't want to waste it. This was inspired by Summer's nickname, Summer Sun.

Here is the carved rubber view of the stamp:

And while I have you here today, I just wanted to remind you about my Gift Card/Voucher service. Once again it is proving very popular this year and with Christmas fast approaching, a gift card for a friend or crafty loved one is a brilliant idea. What better way to give someone exactly what they want for Christmas than to give them a Stampin' Up! voucher to spend on whatever they like from the catalogues. And it can be spent in the New Year and Sale-A-Bration and they might just qualify for additional freebies when they order.  I can create a gift voucher for any value and I will create a lovely unique holder for the voucher too.

Here are some examples of recent Gift Voucher makes:

The first was made with the Season of Style Designer Series Paper and embellished using my lovely new Christmas Ornament Punch (I received so many lovely swaps at Convention using this punch I couldn't resist investing in it myself!) and Gold Foil Cardstock. I love the extra embellishments created with our fab sparkly glimmer paper too.

The second I used the Winter Frost Speciality Papers for and created a matching embellishment with the Festive Flurry Framelit Dies. I layered snowflakes with DSP and Silver Glimmer Paper then finished with a Frosted Finish Embellishment (my favourite accessory for the upcoming festive season!).

Please get in touch if you would like to order a gift voucher for a friend or loved one. Or if you'd just like to treat yourself to a pre-Christmas crafty gift. I'd be more than happy to help you place an order or help you with your Stampin' Up! queries. I can be contacted via email on poulton_sarah@Yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249.

If you place an online order for any Stampin' Up! products through my online store remember to add the code below and I will add your name to the draw to win the hostess benefits for the month's combined orders (with a minimum of £25 in hostess freebies):

Stampin' Up! UK Festive Gift Card Holder

Evening all. Hope you're having a good week so far. Have you started on your Christmas preparations yet? I'm still in the midst of my shopping and card making at the moment.

For my last card class I wanted to create a 3D project that would help along the way towards Christmas preparations and I came up with this gift card holder using the Envelope Punch Board. The beauty of the new Punch Board is that it comes with all the measurements pre-printed on the board and to create the little envelope inside I just made the smallest envelope listed on the measurement guide perfect for a gift card.

To create the gift card holder base itself I used the Pop' n Cuts Cardbase. I folded my card in half (using a full length of A4 cardstock) and ran that through my Big Shot to create a folded card with the lovely shaping provided by the Pop' n Cuts base. I then scored at half an inch either side of the centre fold mark to give the base for the holder to stand on. I used my large oval punch to create the handle.

To embellish the holder I used Gumball Green cardstock and stitched ribbon along with a slim strip of Season Of Style Designer Series Paper wrapped with Victoria Crochet Trim. The stamped banner is from the Perfectly You hostess stamp set embellished with Basic Rhinestones.

I have included links to the products used for today's project either by clicking on the photos or the direct links above. If you place an online order for any Stampin' Up! products through my online store remember to add the code below and I will add your name to the draw to win the hostess benefits for the month's combined orders (with a minimum of £25 in hostess freebies):

Stampin' Up! UK Flower Shop Gift Card

Good morning and a very Happy Thursday to you!

I've woken up with a terrible sore throat and earache today. Oh the joy of winter bug season. Going to wrap up warm and have a quiet day with Summer I think (if there ever is such a thing as I can assure you she is far from quiet!).

I have a quick birthday Gift Card project for you today. With the festive season fast approaching I wanted to share my Stampin' Up! Gift Vouchers with you again. These prove very popular every year with my customers as a perfect way to help a loved one choose their own crafting pressie. I love making all different styles of gift card and voucher and would be happy to personalise to any style or any amount. If you give me a call on 609249 or drop me an email on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk I'll be only too happy to discuss your requirements and get a voucher made up for you asap.

This voucher was made for a good friend's birthday using Stampin' Up!'s Modern Medley Designer Series Paper coupled with the Flower Shop stamp set and matching Blossom Punch.  I decided to try another monochrome creation inspired by the DSP and really pleased with the end result. And I love the effect of finishing the floral embellishment with the 'For You' stamped using the A Round Array stamp set.

Please get in touch with any gift voucher requirements for Christmas or an upcoming special event or birthday. I'd be only too happy to help.

To order any of the products above and receive your free surprise festive gift in the post (direct from me and not Stampin' Up! for the rest of October only), you can order direct with me or through my online store direct to your door. Click on the image below and then click shop in the top right corner.

And don't forget to add the hostess code below for your chance to win the combined hostess freebies for the month. So far there is a guaranteed £25 to be won!

A Very Merry Christmas Treat

If you're stuck for a Christmas gift this year for a crafty friend. I have a perfect solution for you.... a Stampin' Up! gift voucher. I can provide these all year round for Christmas gifts or birthdays or as a just because pressie.

Here are two of my new style Christmas themed vouchers tied with our lovely Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and using our fab Snow Festival Designer Series Papers.

I created this embellishment with the Snow Flurry Die and the For the Birds stamp set (and a bit of Cherry Cobbler glittery bling for the hat).

I created this embellishment with the Scentsational Season stamp set and matching Holiday Collection Framelits. The sentiment is from the Come to Bethlehem stamp set.
A view of the inside of the vouchers.
And lastly, here is a quick crafty project I made recently. I had seen some lovely paper piecing cards on various blogs and wanted to have a go myself. I used the trees from Polar Party and stamped on different patterned Christmas papers cutting each tree separately to create this effect. I think it is such an effective technique for a quick and easy stamped Christmas card.
If you'd like to order a gift voucher or find out any more information on Stampin' Up! please get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 01983 609249.

Sneak peak Gift Card

So I have been crafting. I've just been a bit hesistant to post as I've been using a lot of lovely sneak peak items from the upcoming Summer Mini catalogue.

Here is a project I worked on last week. I was looking at designing some new gift cards for my customers to purchase for birthdays and thank yous. This envelope gift card was made using some gorgeous new products available from May 1st including the Twitterpated Designer Series Papers, Apothecary Art stamp set (I LOVE this set) and beautiful pleated satin ribbon.
Those eagle eyed amongst you might notice a few other new items too but I won't go in to too much detail till the new catalogue launches on the 1st.

Hope you are all keeping well and enjoying this lovely April weekend.

JYC Days 7 and 8

I tell you what, it is a joy and a relief allowing myself a simpler and less involved JYC this year. By giving myself a little less pressure I am actually ending up a lot happier with my results and also I'm not falling behind which is a small miracle too ;0)

Here are my pages for Days 7 and 8. I'm not entirely enthralled with the first. I couldnt quite match my embellishments perfectly. I wanted to capture the lovely reaction I had from my online Secret Santa on Facebook. There were a lot of lovely comments made about the gift i had sent but i couldnt fit them all on the page. So instead I just screen captured an image of her thank you. It didnt fit with the theme of the day, but I wanted to capture this memory all the same. It is a part of my December journey 2011 ;0)

And the second page I was a lot happier with (hence I should stick with the 4 mini rectangle idea....). Due to the awful weather yesterday I wasnt overly keen on going out in the wind and rain to capture the sights of the season. I did, however, capture a few 'indoor' sights. I took loads of photos of our work grotto and Christmas trees and then used the star as a focal point for the page. I also captured my favourite Christmas traditions- the Radio Times and Christmas stamps ;0) Very simple but I'm happy with this all the same.
Another project i have worked on this past couple of nights is this 60th birthday card for a work colleague. I cannot claim this all as my own as I used a swap I'd received at Convention as my base inspiration. I then personalised it for the occasion and mounted on a large enough piece of Rose Red for all the girls at work to sign.
And finally, here is a photo of some of the Gift Cards I have been working on recently. I am happy to personalise for any occasion (although Christmas is proving mightily popular at the moment!). Inside this little card is a pocket with the Stampin' Up! gift card within it. I can create a card for any denomination. Just get in touch on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk or 609249 to place your order.
Happy Friday to you all and have a festive weekend ;0)
