A Shirt and Tie Masculine Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

A very Happy Bank Holiday Monday crafters.

What do you have planned with your day? I have one mission for the day. Finish operation new crafting space. I am so nearly there now. I've loved sorting through old stash and reorganising everything. It has given me an opportunity to redesign my crafty space in a more practical way knowing what I use most frequently. I cannot wait to share pictures ;0)

I have a quick and easy masculine card to share this morning. I found this super simple tutorial online and gave it a Stampin' Up! makeover. I used a Delightful Dijon cardbase for the main body of my shirt.

I then folded the tie from Cucumber Crush In Color Designer Series Paper. I added buttons from my stash for the collar. And to finish I added the sentiment from Suite Sayings to make a celebratory new job or Father's Day style card.

Whatever you have planned for Bank Holiday Monday I hope you have a fantastic day.

A New York Bucket List Scrapbook Page from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters! Hooray for Friday. I have a busy day ahead continuing work on the big crafty destash and reshuffle. Cannot wait to get my new space all tidy and finished. You'll know where to find me for the rest of the day.

I have also been busy writing out my LOOOONG shopping list for the new catalogue launch on Wednesday. If you'd like a copy of the new Stampin' Up! catalogue please let me know and I'll pop one in the post to you. Alternatively, I'd love to place an order for you and get new goodies sent direct to your door. Just drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk with any questions.

I have a Mint Macaron scrapbook page to share with you today. This was another creation I made for the Telford Stampers Showcase using a sneak peek product called Painter's Palette. This is a very creative little stamp set with brush strokes and an easel. I used the brush stamps to create the background of my Mint Macaron cardstock.

For the rest of the scrapbook page I used the Memories in the Making bundle of products including the Project Life cards and accessories. I love how the accessory packs include alphabet stickers for creating titles for your Project Life pages or traditional 12"x12" pages.

I used one of the watercolor die cuts to create my camera embellishment. I used Mint Macaron ink and an aqua painter to give the water washed effect over the camera. I then mounted the embellishment with dimensionals (adding an extra layer to the circle centre to make it stand away from the main body of the camera).

I loved creating this little banner at the top of my page with the embellishment kit.

An In the Meadow masked card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. How was your crafty weekend? Mine was a super busy one. I held my monthly class with 7 lovely ladies on Saturday where we got to have a play with the new In Colors and some sneak peek products. Then most of yesterday was spent reorganising and sorting out my craft space. I have moved my craft area from one of the spare rooms to my bedroom. So I have been setting up a new space which has meant lots of organising and sorting. I'm not quite there yet. But it is coming along nicely. And I have unearthed lots of lovely things I'd forgotten I had ;0)

I have a simple masking card to share today which uses the In the Meadow stamp set. The colours for this card are Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron. I cut my Whisper White banner first and stamped the deers. I then created a mask of the deers with a post it note. I adhered over the top of my Tip Top Taupe stamping. I was then able to stamp my Mint Macaron mountains over the top.

I layered my Whisper White banner over Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe DSP banners. I added the 'Dear Friend' from Cottage Greetings and finally embellished with Basic Pearls.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, or any of our products. I would love to help. A Memories in the Making Valentines from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a very happy Wednesday to you.

I've been having fun with Stampin' Up! Project Life cards to make today's card. I wanted to experiment with the different designs to see what kind of card I could come up with.

The colour theme for this card is Watermelon Wonder so I picked cards from the Memories in the Making cards pack and then used embellishments from the Accessory Pack to finish the card.

I love the layered designs of the Project Life cards which goes to show that the cards can be used for a lot more than scrapbooking. I love the simplicity of layering all the little bits and bobs from the Accessory Pack. The packs contain alphabet stickers, shapes, wooden die cuts, washi tape and embellishments. Fun to add to cards or scrapbooking projects.

If you love these Project Life cards they are only available while stocks last until May 30th. Once they are gone they are gone. They are retiring at the end of this catalogue. There are lots of new lovely goodies coming on June 1st. If you'd like a copy of the new catalogue just drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk and I'll get one in the post to you.

A fun VIP day at Stampin' Up! UK HQ

Hello lovelies. Well what a lot I have to share with you today. About a month ago I received a call from the lovely Kelly at Stampin' Up! UK head office to tell me a card I'd entered in to the Coram charity fundraiser for Demonstrators had won me a runners up spot at a special event at Stampin' Up! head office (you can see the card I created here).

This was a VIP event to celebrate the week long Ebay charity auction to support the amazing work of Coram,  Stampin' Up! send packages of craftiness to artists and celebrities and get them to create cards and small pieces of arts. This years fundraiser had cards made by people ranging from Lorraine Kelly to Peter Capaldi to illustrators such as Quentin Blake and Axel Sheffler. All the cards were lovely (we got to see some of them on display at the event) and some sold for prices in the £100s. The event was timed so that we could watch the Ebay auctions coming to an end and celebrate the successes of the day. In the end the fundraiser made an amazing £5184.45 which the representative of Coram told us would support the adoption and care of 5 children. How lovely is that?

I thought you might like a little sneak peek of the fun we had:

It was lovely spending the day with fellow Demonstrators, the UK SU team, the PR team and even the Mayor of High Wycombe popped by too. As you can see we had some silly laughs. We even got to connect via the laptop with the European office and say hello to all the lovely staff over in Frankfurt including the fantastic Chris in Demonstrator Support.

Here is the cheque presentation with the lovely Paula and Kelly at head office.

As well as lovely food and fun and games we even had time for a little crafting. As you can see I was very hard at work.

And here is one of the projects the team created. I haven't had a moment to photograph mine yet. And yes, you are getting a little sneaky peek at one of the new stamp sets in the new catalogue.

And what a great day for a selfie too. This is me and the lovely Lynney. I love catching up with fellow teamies and Lynne is a lovely fellow Demo I have known for many years now.

And this is me and Kelly from head office.

All in all it was a lovely day and I am very thankful to have been a part of it and to have Stampin' Up! in my life. A big thank you to Paula and Kelly for organising such a lovely day and well done to all the team for the fantastic amount raised for Coram.

A Delightful Dijon Sheltering Tree Panel Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy May 11th. Just a normal day for most but a celebration of the day I become a Mum for me. My little Miss is 4 today. Where did those 4 years go? Weird that Summer has been with Sam and I half the time we've known each other. And what a crazy 4 year ride it has been. We have had a lovely day filled with cake and fun and family. It is now well over an hour past bedtime and both girls are still awake. A sure sign of a good birthday!

Today's crafty make is a Delightful Dijon inspired panel card I created for my In Color Stampers Showcase at Telford. I began with my larger Whisper White layer where I stamped my base Sheltering Tree in Early Espresso. I then guesstimated where to stamp the tree again on my smaller long Whisper White panel (which I cut slightly smaller in height than the tree branches as I wanted them to show over the top). I could have been more technical and properly lined my stamping up with the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig but I was having an imprecise day I think. And it didn't work out too badly.

I then added layers of Delighful Dijon inking to give texture and definition to the leaves over the top of my stamped tree trunk. I simply stamped multiple times without reinking the image. I layered the Whisper White piece over Delightful Dijon cardstock and positioned on to my main Whisper White layer.

I then added the final stamped details around the bottom of the tree- fallen leaves, grass, rake and sentiment.

A Memories in the Making Botanical Scrapbook Page from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and welcome to a new crafty week here at Stampin' Sarah HQ. I had a lovely watercolouring class on Saturday with some lovely ladies. It was fun to try new techniques and play with the In the Meadow stamp set. I will post our projects from the class later in the week.

Today's crafty share is another of my Telford display projects. This one is a Delightful Dijon/Watermelon Wonder scrapbook page using the Memories in the Making Accessories Kit for the little extras (like the 'Summer Nights' title).

The first step for this layout was the background stamping on my Whisper White cardstock base. I stamped the textured images from Timeless Textures in Watermelon Wonder and Delightful Dijon in the top left and bottom right corners.

This was a perfect project for using up all the scraps and odd lengths of In Color 2015-2017 Designer Series Paper. I used all the off cuts as my background mixing up the colours, lengths ad patterns.

I embellished my page with layered flowers cut from In Color 2015-2017 cardstock using the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies. I love how these flowers work together and create so many combinations of blooms.

An In Color Rose Wonder Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Friday Crafters. How has your week been? Have you got anything exciting planned for the weekend. I have my watercolor themed class tomorrow afternoon. Looking forward to welcoming my lovely ladies round for some experimentation with aqua painters.

I have another of my In Color  creations to share with you today. I recently treated myself to the Rose Wonder bundle of products. I love how striking the Rose Garden Thinlits are on their own. But I really enjoyed jigsawing all the smaller pieces back in to the main outline.

To create this card I traced around the outside of the rose shape and leaves on to scrap paper. I then cut within the line and adhered the Basic Black outline to the scrap paper. I then had a base against which to adhere the coloured pieces of the rose and leaves. I used Mint Macaron, Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon and Cucumber Crush cardstock to create each element of the card.

The sentiment is taken from the Tin of Cards stamp set.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, or any of our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door.
