A Bright Botanicals for You Celebration Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Hello crafters and welcome to a new crafty week.

I had a lovely weekend sharing craftiness with friends and celebrating Mother's Day. My Mothering Sunday began with a delightful Gingerbread Latte from Starbucks (yes I know its not Christmas but it is my favourite of all the flavoured Lattes and all the time they still have the syrup I am happy to keep the festive flavour all year round!). Then we celebrated the day with an afternoon tea with my Mum. She'd made lots of different flavoured scones which were DE-LIGHT-FUL!

I have another of our card class makes from February to share with you today. I love the Botanicals for You Sale-A-Bration stamp set. This makes me happy when I stamp it. I love that you can't really go wrong as all the elements are designed to work together and overlap.

I chose the Brights as my colour scheme using a Daffodil Delight card base partnered with Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive inks. The main sentiment is stamped with my Memento Black ink.

I added It's My Party Enamel Dots to each of my 3d flowers which I punched with my Itty Bitty Punch flower. These flowers are great for  covering any little bloopers or ink splodges. Embellishments are always a perfect way to cover any little mistakes you might make while inking ;0)

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up!, Sale-A-Bration or any of our new products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!).

Easter Garden Chocolate Treat Holder

Good morning and welcome to another crafty Easter Treat morning here at Stampin' Sarah! How is your week going? Only 2 more work days and then a long weekend to look forward to. I have my fingers crossed for some lovely sunshine over the weekend so we can all make the most of the 4 days off.

So today's crafty make is a table decoration or Easter gift (this could easily be packaged in a cello bag with a label as a simple gift).  I created this little treat holder using a glass tealight holder from IKEA. I purchased a number of them for my all day Christmas Crafting Extravaganza. You'll find the stamping tutorial for my earlier project here. You could easily substitute the tealight holder for a plastic cup for the same effect.

I used my Stampin' Up! Fringe Scissors to create the grass effect. I cut a length of Pistachio Pudding cardstock and then after fringing I wrapped this around the glass (securing with Sticky Strip to make sure it didn't slip or fall off). I decorated with tiny flowers punched using my Itty Bitty Shapes Punches and embellished with Basic Pearls. I finished with a length of Whisper White Organza Ribbon and filled with chocolatey treats.

And don't forget today sees another set of products appear in the Stampin' Up! Weekly Wednesday Deals. Click the picture below to link straight through to my Online Store and this weeks promotional products.

Easter Treat Bonnets

Good morning and a very happy crafty Monday to you.

I hope you have had a lovely weekend. Wasn't it lovely to see a bit of sunshine? We celebrated Sam's birthday yesterday with a little trip to the seaside with Summer and Sylvie. Summer had a whale of time at a local playground before going home for a big slice of birthday cake.

Today's crafty project was inspired by some beautiful Sweet Treat Cup Bonnets I'd seen over on Vicky's blog. What a simple yet seasonally perfect project for a quick and easy Easter gift. I just love how quickly they come together and all you need is:

These really are incredibly simple to make. Punch a circle in your chosen coloured cardstock, fill your treat cup, remove the glue liner around the edge and stick the cardstock circle in place. Finish with ribbon and flowers. And voila, a perfect Easter gift!

You can find all the products you need for this project through my online store.

If you click here or on the picture above you will be connected straight through to my store where you can browse all Stampin' Up!'s current products. It will take you to the Sale-A-Bration page for details of our current promotion (only two weeks left to take advantage!!!)

Sale-A-Bration Celebration

I so wish I could take credit for todays creation. However, this is another of the incredibly talented Vicky's cards from over on her Crafting Clare blog. The moment I saw this I fell in love with the design. Not only does it use my favourite colour of the moment, Pool Party, but it uses a favoured technique too (a technique I hadnt tried until I noticed Vicky use it- creating a post-it mask and sponging the uncovered area).

This card is simply stunning and uses a combination of techniques from clear embossing, sponging, colouring and finally using the mat pack and paper pricking tool to create the faux stitched effect. Here is a close up of the clear embossed sentiment and sponged panel.

This uses the 'Celebrate' from Outlined Occasions which i have then embellished with minature flowers punched from the Itty Bitty Punch Shapes pack (Pool Party and Pacific Point) and tiny Basic Pearls. So simple but so effective.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you'll pop back tomorrow for the final card of the week ;0)

Happy Crafting in the meantime ;0)
