Pinkies Spring Summer Catalogue Blog Hop

Welcome back and thank you for stopping by today for Part 2 of the Pinkies Spring/Summer Blog Hop. We are showcasing lots of new gorgeous projects today, using products from the new Stampin’ Up!® Spring/Summer Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep on hopping. We love comments, so please tell us what you think!

Hello and welcome to the Isle of Wight for my little part of the Pinkies Blog Hop today. Thank you for joining me from my lovely upline Michelle's blog.

Today I am sharing with you a double 8"x8" scrapbooking layout I created using the beautiful Flower Fair Simply Scrappin' Kit. I fell in love with the whole bundle as soon as I read through the new Spring Summer catalogue. I have previous scrapbooked 12"x12" and 6"x6" and couldn't wait to try 8"x8". The album is a lovely bright Daffodil Delight print and is a ring album making moving your page protectors around within the album much easier.

Here is the page I created using the Simply Scrappin' Kit. I used Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight cardstock bases for each of the pages and then used matching DSP from the kit. I used the ready made embellishments and ribbons to decorate the page and then added a few extra Brights buttons to create the accents at the top and bottom of the pages. I stamped the title using my Notable Alphabet stampset (stamped in Pumpkin Pie).

Here are the contents of the Simply Scrappin' Kit itself:
And while we are celebrating the new Spring Summer catalogue I thought I would share a couple more of my recent makes with the lovely new products. Here is a project we made at a recent class which uses the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper and the new 1.1cm Natural Trim Ribbon. This is a craft room calendar with added post its for those ideas that need jotting down.

And finally a card we made at a recent workshop using the beautiful (and colourful) Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper paired with the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Patterned Occasions.

Thank you for joining me today. To continue the creativity please hop on over to Eveline's blog.

Happy Crafting ;0)
