A Cozy Christmas Hot Chocolate Gift Jar from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafty friends. Happy rainy Friday. I am sat contemplating a very wet walk to pre-school this morning. I am delaying the inevitable by talking to you instead.

I have a project to share from my Cozy Christmas product class earlier in the month. All my projects showcased different elements of the stamp set. I found these lovely little jars in my local discount store and thought they would be perfect for filling with hot chocolate, treats and marshmallows and decorating as a simple little Christmas gift for a friend or neighbour.

I started by creating the jar's belly band with strips of Night of Navy, Pool Party and Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper. I then punched two Decorative Labels and stamped the Cozy Christmas cottage on the Pool Party label. I used this label to cover the join in my DSP.

I added a little Dazzling Details sparkle to my label for extra sparkle.

I stamped a To and From tag with the cuppa from the Project Life Hello December Christmas stamp set and my Note Tag Punch. I tied this with Bakers Twine and attached to my jar to finish the project.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

Happy Valentines Day from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a very Happy St Valentines Day to you.

I have a little bonus crafty make for you this morning. Summer and I spent hours yesterday hand crafting lots of lovely heart shaped choccies for all the family. We used a silicone heart shaped mould and filled the bottoms with lots of lovely pink treats from mini marshmallows to Eton Mess cake topping to freeze dried raspberries. We then melted white and milk chocolate and poured in to each mould and left in the fridge to harden. We were inspired by this Pin.

I should have taken a picture before we packaged them as they were beautiful (and very clearly heart shaped). The pictures don't do them justice.

Anyways, what would lovely handmade chocs be without handmade Stampin' Up! packaging. I set Summer to work with a Real Red ink pad and some Whisper White card and she expertly stamped the little bird from the Hey, Valentine stamp set. I cut round each bird and we mounted on to a tag with a little punched heart. We then popped our choccies in to a little Cello bag and tied with Bakers Twine.

It was as simple as that! Perfect little Valentines gifts for all the family.

And here are my two hard at work making the choccies. Well Summer was making and as you can tell from Sylvie's face she was busy eating our makes ;0)

Simply Created Halloween Frightful Wreath Kit from Stampin' Up!

Good afternoon crafters.

It is a wet and windy Thursday here on the Isle of Wight so I took the opportunity (with a little help from my stamping buddy Summer) to make my Frightful Wreath kit into the completed project. The picture above shows it completed and added to my little Halloween corner in our lounge. I was determined to get this wreath made ready in time for Halloween. Plus, once you've put so much effort in to creating something you want to enjoy it for the for as long as possible. So now I can have my wreath and lovely scented candles for the whole of the rest of the month.

Here is a close up on the centre of the wreath:

When it came to stamping the banner I didn't have the matching Frightful Wreath Photopolymer Stamp Set, so instead I created my own greeting using the Skinny Mini Photopolymer Alphabet and the Halloween accessories from the Holiday Home Stamp  Set (bats and pumpkin).

And here is my favourite part to make, the beaded spider. This was surprisingly simple to create with clear instructions on how to wrap the wire to create these effective purple and silver legs.

You still have plenty of time to order your Frightful Wreath in time for Halloween. With a glue gun ready to go this wreath took about an hour to make from beginning to end. It was a fab, quick and easy make. You can order your wreath direct through my online store by clicking here or by clicking the product picture below.

And don't forget to pop by my Online Store to check out this weeks Weekly Deals. Click the picture below to connect through to this weeks exclusives.
