A Berry Merry Colourful Christmas Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters.

I have a colourful Christmas card to share this morning using the Berry Merry stamp set.  This is one of my 'fun to stamp' sets with lots of little elements to fill your card or image.

I started with the Whisper White banner cut using my framelits. I stamped the 'joy' with Encore Metallic Gold ink and then added the little details in Crushed Curry, Real Red and Pool Party.

To add a little extra texture and dimension I added a smaller banner cut from Champagne Glimmer Paper. I then layered a length of Real Red Pompom Trim over the top (I used my Stampin' Up! stapler to secure the layers together).  Finally I added the Snowflake Element with a Basic Rhinestone for sparkle.

A Wondrous Wreath Thank You from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning a very Happy December 5th to you.

I recently made a large batch of these thank you cards for my November customers as a big thank you for their Christmas crafting custom.

I love the versatility of the Wondrous Wreath stamp set. It doesn't just have to be your traditional red and green Christmas wreath. I stamped this in Soft Sky, Island Indigo and Encore Silver ink and then embellished with Basic Rhinestones.

The 'Thanks' stamp is from the Another Thank You Photopolymer stamp set (stamped here in Island Indigo).

I hope you have a lovely festive weekend planned wherever you are. I am hoping to be catching up on my December Journal to share my pages with you next week. I will certainly have lots of lovely things to journal after our lovely trip away and of course sharing creativity with my fellow Demo's yesterday at our regional event in Basingstoke.

A wet and windy weekend

Happy Monday to you all.

 

Just thought I'd post a quick catch up post about my weekends craftiness. The weather had a lot to answer for this weekend as I had a cancelled party on Friday evening as some ladies were travelling from the mainland for it and the weather interfered with their plans. And then I had a Christmas Fayre on Saturday which again was effected by the terrible weather. Every cloud has a silver lining however. Instead of craftiness, I had a lovely day chatting with my downline Sandy and my friends Chris and Pat on the stall next door. But sadly no customers! I have been left feeling super festive after a day of looking at other peoples Christmas craftiness and listening to Christmas music. Just in time for my festive break away at the weekend ;0)

 I was looking through my crafty picture folders on my computer this afternoon and found this card class project I havent shared already. We made this in a card class a couple of months ago. A card folder. Perfect for keeping your Christmas cards in or for giving as a gift filled with cards and envelopes.

We made this using the Cottage Window stamp set.

This is one of my favourite stamp sets in the new catalogue. Two step stamping was the reason I fell in love with Stampin' Up! and their products. I love being able to interchange my images depending on the event or season.

The picture above is taken from the Stampin' Up! Idea Book 2009-2010. This features cards made with the Loads of Love Set. I will be featuring cards in the upcoming weeks that use the two step stamps to highlight the techniques involved.
