An Awesomely Artistic layered Thank You Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Monday. What a beautiful weekend and what a lovely day ahead. I am loving this weather. We made the most of it by heading to the Isle of Wight County Show for a day out followed by a night camping in the motorhome. Not much time for crafting. But lots of fun all the same. Sam and I even snuck in enough time to see the new Jurassic Park which was corny but super fun.

Today I have another Awesomely Artistic inspired creation. I really cannot make enough with this stamp set. I love the layering potential and all the beautifully detailed images.

I used the fab Whisper White Note Cards as my card base and then layered Crumb Cake and Memento Tuxedo Black inked images. I added a piece of striped DSP from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack plus a think piece of Silver Glimmer Paper.

The 'thanks' sentiment is from the Cottage Greetings stamp set.

I added the final detail using punched flowers (punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack) and Basic Pearls.

A World of Dreams meets Sheltering Tree Birthday Greetings from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning and a very happy Friday to my crafty friends.

I was browsing Pinterest a few weeks ago and came across this fantastic card from Lisa Young in the USA. I had never ever noticed the World of Dreams stamp set in the catalogue and I instantly fell in love with it seeing this card. It went straight on my wishlist so I could recreate her lovely card for my card class ladies.

We used a Pear Pizzazz card base with a layer of Chocolate Chip card. The Hardwood stamped piece was Soft Suede ink on to Crumb Cake.

We created the banner with the Triple Banner Punch and stamped the greeting from the Tin of Cards Stamp Set in Crumb Cake.

I love how this card came together. The birds and branch were coloured with Stampin' Write markers directly on to the stamp to give the two colour effect (Soft Suede and Chocolate Chip). We finished with a flower punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

I hope you have a lovely weekend ahead planned. I am off to Demo for a lovely group of ladies tonight and then tomorrow *weather permitting* I will be heading to the local Isle of Wight County Show for a mooch around.

A Folding Awesomely Artistic Gift Box from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Today's project is this fab little folded gift box decorated with the Awesomely Artistic stamp set from the fab new 2015-2016 catalogue.

To create this gift box you need a piece of cardstock measuring 15 x 22.5cm. To work out the score marks and cutting measurements I used this template. This gift box can so easily be personalised or themed by occasion by using Designer Series Paper or differing stamps.

My favourite detail of this box is the dragonfly on top which I heat embossed in Gold and Clear (over Soft Suede ink) on to Vellum Cardstock. I created two dragonflies which I then fussy cut and mounted one on top of the other (I only cut the body and wings of the second dragonfly). I created the body with Basic Pearls.

My colour scheme for this box: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz and Encore Gold (I daubered gold around every edge for a vintage aged look).

Here is how the box opens with a folded ribbon tab.

This is such a perfect little gift box for all occasions. It would make a great teacher gift or table piece.

A Watercolor Wings Swinging Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

A very happy new week crafty friends. How was your weekend? I had a full house for my class on Saturday. We had a lovely time and my home baked Slimming World Orange and Raspberry Sponge went down well too.

I've got one of our crafty projects from the class to share this evening. I've seen a lot of these pop up swing cards around the blogosphere. I decided to showcase our beautiful new In Colors and create my own version.

For the measurements I used and the inspiration I used this blog post from a fellow Demo in Australia.

I created my card frame using Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush and Whisper White.

I stamped the Watercolor Wings butterfly using Delightful Dijon, Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder and Memento Black ink. I love how easy this is to line up using our fabulous photopolymer stamps.

For the inside of the card I created a frame using the squiggles from the Sweet Stack stamp set. I added the smaller butterflies and flowers from Butterfly Basics to cover the joins in the squiggles. The sentiment is from another new stamp set called Cottage Greetings.

I finished the card with an In Color Blossom. I love these little embellishments. Beautifully textured and coordinated.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. Pinkies Annual Catalogue Blog Hop: A From Land to Sea Notecard Trio from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We're showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

Welcome to the Isle of Wight and my little part of today's blog hop. Thank you for joining me from Paula's blog. Such a lot of inspiration!

When I first caught a glimpse of the new Annual Catalogue my heart just melted when I saw the From Land to Sea stamp set. Living on an island I understandably love the sea. But I have been a little obsessed with both jellyfish and turtles since I was young (I even remember writing a very lengthy school project on jellies of the oceans!). I couldn't have imagined a more perfect stamp set.

So today's projects are inspired by this fantastic set. I created a trio of 10.5cm square notecards.

The first of my notecards was inspired by a make I saw on Pinterest which combined the From Land to Sea lighthouse with the swooshes from Work of Art. I love the versatility of Work of Art and how many different backgrounds you can create. My colours for this card are: Crumb Cake, Lost Lagoon and Soft Sky.

I so love turtles. I have been lucky enough to snorkel with turtles and I just love their gentle grace. I wanted to recreate the beautiful blues and greens of tropical seas. For this notecard I crumpled a 10cm square of Whisper White and then rubbed my ink pads directly on the surface. I then blended the excess ink with my Stampin' Sponge. I was trying to create the light through water effect with the inked cracks. The colours I used for this card: Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight and Tempting Turquoise.

The last of my trio features my absolute favourite stamp, the jellyfish. For this card I stamped the image on to a 10cm square piece of Whisper White. I coloured my jelly with blender pens using Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. I then stamped the jelly image on to a post-it and created a mask. To finish I sponged Pear Pizzazz, Tempting Turquoise and Bermuda Bay ink to create the background. The last detail was doodled stitching (an extra I love adding to my cards and scrapbook pages).

Thank you for joining me today. I am sure this won't be the last time I share projects using these fantastic images so please pop back again soon. Now to continue the hop please continue to Caroline's blog for more creativity and inspiration.

A Layered Letters Thank You Note Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Happy Friday! I have a fun crafty weekend ahead with my monthly card class tomorrow. We have a fun selection of projects using lots of lovely new catalogue stamp sets and products which I will share with you next week.

Today's share is a Layered Letters inspired thank you notelet. I created two versions in different colour schemes.

The first uses Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon, So Saffron and Island Indigo. I matched the stamped coloured blocks and alphabet stamping with the 'you' from the Work of Art stamp sets and finished with Subtles Candy Dots.

The second version is stamped with Calypso Coral, Delightful Dijon, Watermelon Wonder and Rose Red. I used Brights Candy Dots to finish.

A fun Curvy Keepsake Box from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Here is a fun curvy keepsake box inspired by a creation I saw over on an Australian blog hop. It combines the gorgeous Sprinkles of Life stamp set with the Tree Builder Punch and Curvy Keepsake Thinlit Dies.

It is such a summery little box. It would be perfect for a teacher gift or little summer party favour. You could create a tag to attach to the handle to personalise it for any occasion.

I created the grass around the bottom using my Fringe Scissors and added the trees punched from Soft Suede and Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper.

Paper Stack Sampler Hostess Club Gifts from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. Happy Monday to you all.

How was your weekend? It flew by here. The Isle of Wight has been host to the annual music festival so it has been fun listening to the music from the garden and seeing all the revellers enjoying themselves. It all goes back to normal today as everyone will be heading home.

Today I have a quick crafty project to share with you. For my hostess club ladies this month I wanted to make a little product sampler of lovely new catalogue products. During the Demonstrator preorder I had purchased the Neutral Designer Series Paper Stack and thought it would make a perfect little 4"x6" sampler pack.

I cut a selection of the paper designs down to 4"x6" (the papers are 12"x12") and packaged with Neutrals Candy Dots and Basic Pearls.

I created a little label using my 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch and 2" Circle Punch. I punched the scallop circle from Soft Suede and then the smaller circle from Whisper White. I used Smoky Slate ink to stamp the Work of Art paint swoosh and then Chocolate Chip for the greeting. I added the Chevrons in Crumb Cake.

And here are all the designs and packages all ready to be added to my Hostess Club ladies orders.

If you would like more information on joining one of my Clubs you can click on the Virtual Club tab at the top of the page. I welcome new members at any time through the  year. So as well as the Stampin' Up! hostess benefits and any monthly promotions you will also benefit from a handmade gift or sampler from me with your order each month. Please drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk if you would like more information or if you would like to join.

A Layered Letters Hello from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafters. I hope your week is treating you well so far. It is a bright sunny morning here on the Isle of Wight and I've snuck in a bit of crafting before work. A perfect way to start the day.

You can find out more on the 'Join My Team' tab above or drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk.

To create my team welcome cards I used the new Layered Letters stamp set. I love creating different variations of words/designs with this set. For the first 'hello' I used Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Melon Mambo and the words were stamped in Rose Red. I added Brights Candy Dots.

For the second variation I used Wisteria Wonder, Blushing Bride, Marina Mist and Rose Red for the letters.

And again I finished with Subtles Candy Dots.

A Butterfly Basics Hostess Gift from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Good morning crafty friends.

I'm a bit later with my posting than normal this week. We returned from a lovely week away to France at the weekend so fitting in crafting amid washing and unpacking proved a little challenging. But I did manage to sneak an hour for creating last night. I have a Stampin' Up! crafty party this week and wanted to make something special for my Hostess.

I found a pack of these little notebooks in my 'crafty inspiration' drawer full of things I will get round to making eventually. I thought they would make perfect gifts for upcoming new catalogue party hostesses.

I used my Butterfly Basics stamp set with the Butterfly Framelits (available together as a fantastic bundle for a 15% saving) to create the background and butterfly feature. For the background I stamped the flower from Butterfly Basics in Versamark and heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss powder. I then stamped the small butterflies in Watermelon Wonder ink.

I added the white film frame cut with the On Film Framelits and the larger butterfly cut with my Butterfly Framelits. To finish I added an In Color Blossom in Mint Macaron and Itty Bitty Flowers punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack from Mint Macaron Cardstock (I added a White Candy Dot for the centre of the flower).

I have added a special Stampin' Up! pen to the gift and will set about designing a gift bag this evening.

If you would like to host your own Stampin' Up! party I would love to come and demo for you and your friends and family. I always make a gift for all my hostesses on top of the fab product freebies you will receive from Stampin' Up! themselves. I also provide all materials for you and your attendees to complete a stamping project aimed at all levels of experience from a new stamper through to the more experienced crafter.

Serene Silhouettes Birthday Greetings Card from Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

How much are you loving the new Stampin' Up! catalogue?

There is just so much to choose from amid all the loveliness. I cannot wait to create and share so many new projects and ideas over the upcoming months.

Today I have a birthday card I created with my Hostess Club ladies recently using the Serene Silhouettes and Butterfly Basics stamp sets.

To create this card we punched a circle from a piece of scrap card and used the scrap piece as a mask. Using a Stampin Sponge (or a dauber would work too) we sponged So Saffron ink as a base and then Calypso Coral ink over the top to create a sunset.

Once the sunset effect was created we stamped the branch silhouette in Memento Black and covered with Clear Embossing. This gives a lovely sheen and raised texture to the card.

To finish we stamped the Happy Birthday from Butterfly Basics in Calypso Coral ink.

A super simple, quick and easy note card which could be personalised for any occasion.

What I love about the NEW Stampin' Up! Catalogue 2015-2016 by Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Sarah Poulton

Well where do I begin!? The catalogue has been live for 24 hours now and I've received so much positive feedback. I've been kept busy processing everyone's preorders getting them in early to ensure a swift despatch.

As a Demonstrator we have had our copies of the new catalogue to drool over for several weeks now and I love this one more than any of its predecessors. I cannot begin to tell you every minute detail of what I love about this years new products and the catalogue. So I thought I would give you a quick run down of my 5 best highlights.

Starting with this stamp set:

I think From Land to Sea is just about the best stamp set Stampin' Up! have ever produced. There are two things I love about the ocean- turtles and jellyfish. I've loved jellies since writing a school project on them when I was about 10. And turtles are just lovely. So this set is my favourite thing about the new catalogue.

I'm also loving the new In Colors as you will have gathered from my post yesterday. Who wouldn't love a colour called Watermelon Wonder?

Christmas is back in the big catalogue. Sorry to mention the C word in June. But we all know that as crafters it pays to think ahead. And Stampin' Up! have made life easier by including stamps, papers and accessories to make Christmas crafting easy all year round.

As you might have gathered from my recent posts. I am a big fan of Stampin' Up!'s range of kits and projects. I love having a project all ready for me to make with all the elements ready and waiting. This cake stand is my favourite kit from the new catalogue. But it was a closely fought battle as there are so many lovely offerings to choose from.

Stampin' Up! have worked really hard to listen to the feedback of customers and this years catalogue offers more bundles than ever before. Be sure to make a note of any page featuring a bundle as each one means a whopping 15% saving on buying the items individually.

I would love to pop a catalogue in the post to you. Just drop me a line on poulton_sarah@yahoo.co.uk and I'll get one straight out to you to peruse at your leisure. I'd love to hear what your favourite products are and which items are on your must have list.

Thank you for popping by today. Please let me know if you have any questions about Stampin' Up! or our products. I would love to help. All items can be purchased online via my shop or get in touch directly and I can order them for you to be delivered direct to your door. I'd also love to Demo for you and your friends at a crafty party. As the hostess you earn lots of lovely freebies and you all get to make a fun crafty project too (no crafting experience necessary!)

The New Stampin' Up! Catalogue 2015 Is Here!

Hello to the new Stampin' Up! Catalogue 2015-2016!

Click on the image below to link through to a pdf of the new catalogue or alternatively pop your details in an email and I'll post a paper copy straight out to you.

Check out all the lovely new products online in my Online Store (click on the link to the left).

I absolutely love this catalogue and all the loveliness contained within it. It is well worth making a cuppa and indulging for a few minutes (or hours in my case). And I'm not ashamed to admit I still take my catalogue to bed with me. I love poring over all the details and projects before falling asleep.

Today I wanted to highlight the fantastic new In Colors. I look forward every year to the big reveal of the 5 new colours. This year we have Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron. As usual the names make me hungry. But aside from their mouthwatering sounding names they are also beautiful and vibrant too.

I used the colours to create the 'Hello' bookmark at the top of this post. I used the beautiful new In Colour Lace Trim to tie at the top.

I made the fab In Color sampler bookmarks below to accompany all orders and catalogues sent out throughout June. I wanted to showcase not only the colours but the new Ronald McDonald charity stamp set, Sprinkles of Life. Stampin' Up! give a donation to the charity for every stamp set purchased.

I love the different uses of this stamp set- you can create ice creams, cupcakes, trees, clouds! And even better, there is a matching punch too (the Tree Builder Punch).

I created a quick series of notelets using the stamp set and new In Colors. I added extra embellishment using the Cherry On Top Paper Stack and coordinating Washi Tapes. The sentiment was stamped using the Work of Art stamp set.

I have a more detailed run down of all the fantastic things I love in the new catalogue tomorrow for you. Just a reminder that for today only you can order from the brand new catalogue, the past catalogue, the Spring Summer and the Retiring Lists. But this is for one day only. And don't forget I'll post an In Color bookmark & catalogue to all customers placing an order in June.

And as if all this amazing newness wasn't enough, Stampin' Up! have also announced a fantastic joining promotion for June. If you join my team anytime between now and June 30th you can pick an extra 2 stamp sets (choose any sets from the new catalogue of any value) on top of your amazing £130 of product.
